After a few minutes I asked the waiter where my entree was he checked and admitted that he forgot to put my order in. I told him to forget about my order because we had plenty left over from the others, it was a lot of food and I still will go back because the food was outstanding. The various flavors of the different dishes were the best I've had at a Chinese restaurant.“

“Went New Year’s Eve for the price fix menu…not realizing we had option otherwise. No matter the food was very good until we got to dessert. My husband took one bite out of his dessert and I noticed something hanging. Turned out to be a very long hair that had apparently been stuck to the icing. He spit everything out and flagged down the waitress. She didn’t seem to phased and offered him a replacement dessert which he of course declined. Honestly I expected her to report it to a manager and to make some sort of concession. Another dessert wasn’t going to cut it since we just found a long hair in it. I found that very odd because any other place would have offered us something, a coupon, money off the bill, something. No manager coming to apologize. Nothing.Do they not want people to come back?“

“Whenever I had a craving for south indian food in long island, I used to frequent Taste of Chennai, i.e. until I discovered this place Village - The Soul of India. This is by far the best south indian restaurant in long island. Their pani puris are killer. The dosas, idlis chutneys and sambars reminded me of what I had tasted back in India. Everything tasted fresh too. The service was good and prompt. We were lucky to get in right before the dinner rush hour where we saw large groups having to wait for a table.

For those who are not familiar with south indian food: their menu is either completely vegetarian (as in this case) or largely vegetarian and 100's of options to choose from.

“We a party of 3 adults 2 young children go from brooklyn to long island just to go to PFchang. I will say the ride going i wasn't the happiest person however, We walk in greeted and seated quickly. The waiter young man so pleasant so attentive. He had recommendations,filled with great energy,very helpful and you can tell he's genuinely kind. “Hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner here and we are SO glad did - everything was perfect! Everyone could not get over how delicious all the food was. Danny worked with us to create a menu that was tailored to us and our guests and we got SO much food included in the package we did. He also worked with us to create table arrangements that worked best for our event. I was worried at first that the space only being partially private and not a true private room would be an issue but it was not at all! We really didn’t need it and were happy to still get to enjoy the Sinatra singer that plays for the restaurant that night. Every time I go with my wife to visit our son who is at Hofstra despite trying to go to different venues to grab a bite before we head back to Jersey. We always end up at black label because the food is so good, the service is great the people are very friendly and the service is quick. If you’re in Hempstead or Westbury and looking for a good burger, good hotdog in a simple atmosphere black label is my first choice.“
