“Husband & I were in the area & decided to stop in for lunch today & glad we did. I had the Lamb Gyro, came w/french fries & Beef Barley soup. Soup was delicious. Gyro had plenty of meat (lamb) w/lettuce, tomatoes & onions. All very fresh. Husband had Falafel which he said was absolutely delicious. We had a great lunch. The staff were very nice and attentive & restaurant was cheerful & clean. We will definitely be coming back to try their dinner next time. Highly recommend Opa Grille.“

“This is an excellent Irish pub. Lots of space, clean and welcoming. My buddy and I enjoyed a proper Guinness and a wonderful Irish coffee. In addition, our fish & chips were outstanding! As for the service, our bartender Peter was truly a gentleman, professional, attentive and personable. I am definitely returning and highly recommend stopping by if you are in the neighborhood.“

“Champagne House has become our go to place! Discovered this gem a few months ago and never disappoints! Decided to go with our waiter Jason’s recommendation Bourbon Street Steak. WOW just WOW It was out of this world. My husband ordered French Onion Pizzetta that to is just as delicious. Glad before we left the Chef came from kitchen speaking to other patrons and we were able to tell him how much we enjoyed our meal this evening as well as our earlier visits Highly recommend!!“

“I cannot say enough about the Library Cafe, the staff and the food! We had a 50th Birthday Party in the upstairs private room overlooking the bar. The food was delicious and there was PLENTY of it! The bar/wait staff was both attentive and quick getting to all of us! The party was perfect right down to the music which they let us pick! Definitely having more events at the Library!“

“The hostess tried to seat us in the empty private room in the back without offering a choice for the main dining area and we were forced object to this and were then seated on the floor. Based on the fact that both of our entre’s , filet, trout, were perfectly cooked and presented and delightful, a four star minimum is justified. Our side of brussels was undercooked and hard as rocks. The cocktails were perfectly done. No cheese cake after a steak? No coffee beans in the sambuca? The venue turned out to be a cut below. The pricing was fair in my opinion so on balance, an average dining experience overall. There are better options for sure.“

“Was hungry, so I went out by myself.
Ordered 1/2 $ appetizers (10pm on).
- Chicken nuggets (Asian flavor)
- Chicken quesadilla

Nuggets were fine. Accompanying Ranch dressing was disappointing, so waitress brought me blue cheese dressing (better!)

Lost a star on the Quesadilla as the IRL version looked so unlike their advertised version. Will add photos for difference. Forgot to take IRL photo upon it/their arrivals, but you can definitely see the lack of advertised components.
Flavor was tasty, but lack of innards meant less filling, so I wound up ordering a second Quesadilla. (Though I took >50% home)

Mozzarella sticks, fried pickles, potato wontons, onion rings, everything pretzel and fried mozzarella — delicious!!! We were seated right away and the waitress was very friendly and efficient. “We actually never went to this location before, but had greatly enjoyed their prior second location in Port Washington. Expectaions were right on point. Food was excellent from appetizer to the main course. Maybe it's weird but I kind of respect even the small things like when a restaraunt offers to chose to serve in house brewed ice tea as opposed to something pre processed. The Brisket from todays specials list was perfect. This restaurant is 45min drive from home and well worth the trip. Thank You, we will be back.“

My Father has since passed but my Sister took my Mother there today and they gave my Mom hugs, told her they loved her and how cute she was. I was in tears when I heard this from my Sister. I am so Happy that my Mom has this place to go to to get out and feel so loved by so many. Over the years the Sunrise Diner has been a very Happy Place to go to. The service is the best we've ever had. They've treated my Family like Family. I cannot thank the People at the Sunrise Diner enough! They mean so much to my Family. And you can't beat their food!!! I have also eaten the skirt steak which was delicious. He has a very nice presentation on all dishes. They also have fresh baked breads and the waitresses are all very nice and friendly. The dining area is nice and there is music playing and sometimes live entertainment. I want to try every dish on the menu. The restaurant has the potential to be a real gold mine because the food is definitely on point.“
