“Husband & I were in the area & decided to stop in for lunch today & glad we did. I had the Lamb Gyro, came w/french fries & Beef Barley soup. Soup was delicious. Gyro had plenty of meat (lamb) w/lettuce, tomatoes & onions. All very fresh. Husband had Falafel which he said was absolutely delicious. We had a great lunch. The staff were very nice and attentive & restaurant was cheerful & clean. We will definitely be coming back to try their dinner next time. Highly recommend Opa Grille.“

“Champagne House has become our go to place! Discovered this gem a few months ago and never disappoints! Decided to go with our waiter Jason’s recommendation Bourbon Street Steak. WOW just WOW It was out of this world. My husband ordered French Onion Pizzetta that to is just as delicious. Glad before we left the Chef came from kitchen speaking to other patrons and we were able to tell him how much we enjoyed our meal this evening as well as our earlier visits Highly recommend!!“

“Visited this location a few weeks ago to celebrate another Championship with my Baseball team and the food was absolutely amazing. I had the best burger and drinks. I returned 11/22/24 and the food was a disappointment. Burger was overcooked, tasteless and my players boneless chicken wings were hard.
The drinks were fine and hopefully just an off day for the cook.“

“We actually never went to this location before, but had greatly enjoyed their prior second location in Port Washington. Expectaions were right on point. Food was excellent from appetizer to the main course. Maybe it's weird but I kind of respect even the small things like when a restaraunt offers to chose to serve in house brewed ice tea as opposed to something pre processed. The Brisket from todays specials list was perfect. This restaurant is 45min drive from home and well worth the trip. Thank You, we will be back.“

“We have been dining here for 30 years and its still outstanding! They have great food at great prices and its always a delicious meal. We were here on Saturday Sept 21 with my brother and sister in law. We shared everything. The octopus, tuna sashimi pizza and roasted beet salad were really good! So were the shrimp tacos and our entrees. We had drinks at the bar before dinner and it was very comfortable and friendly. The bartender was quick and very competent. This place always has great food and service at very affordable prices. They also did a wonderful job for our daughters bridal shower when we took over the restaurant on a weekend morning! They are always professional and warm and welcoming too!“

My Father has since passed but my Sister took my Mother there today and they gave my Mom hugs, told her they loved her and how cute she was. I was in tears when I heard this from my Sister. I am so Happy that my Mom has this place to go to to get out and feel so loved by so many. Over the years the Sunrise Diner has been a very Happy Place to go to. The service is the best we've ever had. They've treated my Family like Family. I cannot thank the People at the Sunrise Diner enough! They mean so much to my Family. And you can't beat their food!!! I've never had a bad meal their. Love all of you. Hope to get back to Wantagh soon and see you all! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH♥️“

“Nice local spot, has been around for over 10yrs too, local neighborhood place. Sit and have a drink at the bar or bar tables... or take a table for your meal. We did both. The drinks were good, the apps were good: wings nice sweet heat and crispy, the dumplings & fried mozzarella both the typical flavor and didn't stand out but still enjoyable, as for the stuffed clams, kinda the usual all bread little clam( what were we thinking). Our meals were overall good too; the chicken cordon bleu came pre sliced not as hot as I would like though, a little dry lacking enough cheesy center, yet it was still tasty, and on the other hand the marinated skirt steak was enjoy by two others in our party, full of flavor cooked correctly and very tender. All sides of rice and broccoli were a nice complement to our entrees. (one less star for the maraschino cherries in our old fashion and the waitress with zero personality) note: the table was well serviced though; waters filled regularly, bread replenished, plates cleared!“

“We were looking for a place to stop for tacos on way home . What a pleasant surprise we found this restaurant we wound up eating at restaurant. They couldn't have been nicer and the food was fresh and delicious. We both had burrito's and salad.

“Last minute decision to go out to eat and Applebee's is an easy choice plus you could watch baseball too. The atmosphere was upbeat, the food was good . I also have to commend Applebee's for their community service, this time they had a special that benefited Alex's Lemonade Stand. In the past, they have also helped the high school swim team with a fund raising breakfast. Their hearts are in the right place. We enjoyed our dinner, the food was good, the service was good. “We go to Seasons 52 often. Food is pretty good. Love the flatbreads. Like the open kitchen. They used to have a piano player at the bar, which we miss. Service is always good and friendly. The only negative is it's sometimes hard to find parking in that giant lot as it's part of a mall and a movie theater. But, they do have valet.“

“There’s so much that I could say about this restaurant. I went for the first time last night after being diagnosed with celiac 7 months ago. My waitress was incredibly sweet and knowledgeable and made me feel so safe and welcomed, as well as the other staff and the owner. The food was delicious and there was not one second I doubted my safety when it comes to gluten free. I know they also have a vegan menu and they do brunch (which I can’t wait to try). The atmosphere is so cozy and warm. I will be coming back a million times!“
