“Bayview tavern is truly tucked away in Seaford. It's a pretty unassuming spot but pretty good. Our server Carol was very nice and had a welcoming energy as people came into the place for lunch. Now this place didn't blow me away but also was pretty good for a very casual lunch. They have specials almost every weekday that run I believe all day in addition to happy hour special which are 3-6. My dad got the $5burger. It's a plain burger and additions are an up charge, even cheese which I feel like could maybe just come on it. The burger was a little bland but cooked very well and the bun was nice and fluffy. We got the chopped baked clams. Those were good. They were kinda cheesy which I've ever experienced. I liked those. I got the clam chowder and it was actually very good. It was kind of a mix between a New England and a Rhode Island. It wasn't quite a clear broth but not super creamy like the New England. It had a ton of clams. The oyster crackers they gave me were incredibly stale but could've been an oversight. Not somewhere I would go running back but maybe for their HH or something.“

Our son was upset we came here first before going to get ice cream so he was being super dramatic but no one seemed to mind his laying on the floor lol. Pancakes came out and he was up in the booth. Service was great. Food was good. Only thing was there was a hair in my omelet but these things happen. If you go out to eat constantly you just need to realize these things can happen. It's gross but I'm not gonna rant or wasn't gonna make a scene about it. Only taking off a star due to that. Good prices and hopefully that was a one time, rare thing! My hubs spotted it before me and it was after I almost finished my omelet. Our son ate his pancakes like they were going out of style so that was a good thing. “We absolutely love the food here. One of the best diner foods you can get. Their seafood is amazing. Their specialty meals come with a soup, salad, two sides, a main course and a dessert usually all for under $35. You can't beat that price and quality of food. “Many restaurants could learn a thing or two from Small Batch. Wonderful experience. Not only was the food fresh, inventive and meticulously prepared, but the staff was just lovely. Everyone was warm, not snobby, and went above and beyond to make my sister's birthday brunch enjoyable for my family. The food focuses on spotlighting the local ingredients and isn't overly fancy. My favorites were the hot fried chicken sandwich, the deconstructed eggplant parm appetizer, and the spaghetti with tomato sauce off of the kids menu (could have used a touch of salt but I think they underseasoned on purpose because it's for kids). The only dish that was pretty underwhelming was the shrimp and grits, which was kind of bland. The decor is also so tasteful and I felt transported to a fancy farmhouse somewhere on the coast of Rhode Island or something. I'll definitely be back!“
“I went to Monroe’s for brunch with a group of 11 people to celebrate a birthday. David and Frank were our servers and they took amazing care of us. Our whole group did the bottomless brunch option and our glasses were never empty because they were quick to refill them. They also continuously checked on us to make sure we had everything we wanted. The food was great! I had the sliced steak sandwich, it was delicious. The french fries and home fries were exceptional and perfectly seasoned. Everyone was happy with the food they ordered. I highly recommend visiting Monroe’s. We will definitely be back!“

“What a wonderful gem tucked away in Carle Place! My boyfriend and I went for the first time last night and had a wonderful experience. The food is scrumptious and the service and ambiance are top-notch. We can't wait to go back! Kim was our waitress. She was very welcoming and gave us recommendations! The garlic bread for the table was delicious. We started off with the grilled flatbread with the mission figs - the flat bread is made in house and was delicious and the toppings were fresh! I got the Romano Crusted Chicken and my boyfriend got the The Herb Crusted Rack of Lamb - both meals were perfectly portioned and fresh. For dessert, we got an apple crisp - very good! “Started going here a little while back for the Subculture nights hosted by Dj Cody and from the first visit knew this was a great place. Johnny the bartender is a great guy and a class act and a really attentive bartender. The service is great here and you never wait a long time to get a drink no matter how many people are there. Along with great service the atmosphere is pretty cool and the nights are always fun. Definitely worth the trip whether you live close or have to travel a bit. I will continue to go to The Rabbits Foot on a regular basis as it is always a great time.“

“My Wife and I hosted our rehearsal dinner at the Library Cafe, Melissa was our coordinator and she was flawless with the planning, she had answers to all of our questions and understood our budget limitations, adapted to our one off requests and ensured us a great time. The day of event, Mike was our guardian angel, as soon as we got to the venue he had set up our welcome sign and all of our accessories that we assigned to some of our bridal party. He was on top of drink requests, music, and food to the point our guests were complimenting how incredible he was. He ran a 3 person show single handedly with no hiccups. “Love going to Bigelows i’m sitting at the bar the experience is great watching the staff freshly batter seafood and putting it right in the fryer right in front of you. The New England clam chowder is like no other. It is very delicious and creamy the perfect consistency for clam chowder. Definitely the best around the Ipswich fried clams are my go to favorite. They are fried to perfection and very clean oil which makes the food very good because the oil is always clean that they cook in. The people that work at Bigelow’s are great. Always welcoming and fun to hang out with by the bar while you eat your delicious seafood, no matter what you get I highly recommend coming here if you are in the area and you love seafood, you will not get any fresher!! “Solid brunch in an unexpected location! I've visited Me & You a few times over the years, as my parents and their friends are quite fond of the place. My most recent visit was during a super busy Sunday brunch rush. We made a reservation but still had to wait a bit. As you could imagine, the place was packed with both boozy brunch crowd AND families with small kids. I had the club sandwich, an item I don't normally go for. It was to offset the sweetness of all of the other entrees we ordered. It was a hefty sandwich, and all of the proportion for the filling was just right. I loved the crunchy sweet potato fries. I had a bit of the blueberry lemon ricotta crepe also. It was sweet but not too sweet as the lemon curd and the blueberries added a nice acidity. Their crepe is not what I think of as crepe, a bit on the thin pancake side than a true French crepe. I've had their other breakfasts before, like the eggs Benedict (ok, nothing to write home about) and the French toast during weekdays, much less busy times. But I felt the food was better despite the Sunday rush. I haven't had drinks here, but they look good, and plenty of tables were drinking it up. The location and the hospitality give them bonus points. Bethpage Station is a skip away. The staff is always friendly. It has the Greek diner vibe without being too old-fashioned. It's nice to have a robust breakfast-y and more lunch-y options both available. Also, they very nicely brought out free dessert for my friend's birthday, though it was clear they were past closing time, and we were some of the last patrons left!“

“This place has a great vibe as well as a great selection of food hot and cold. I went for a beef empanada and a turkey pepper jack cheese and honey mustard sandwich. The empanada was very flavorful and doesn’t need sauce. The sandwich had a great balance the bread was soft and the meat was savory the cheese was a perfect balance and the honey mustard is one of the best I have had in a long time.I highly recommend this spot.“

There is delicious beer cheese soup, thinly sliced reuben sandwiches with sauerkraut and dressing, various salads such as fantasia salmon salad, buffalo wings, calamari, quesadillas and many more selections including a brunch on Sundays. I don't give 5 stars on food unless it is incredibly special, but this place deserves a very high 4 stars not only for the food but for the quick order taking and serving. They don't have large amounts just sitting around since they cook everything together and it's mixed chicken. Whenever I'm in the area, me and my fiancé stop in to grab some chicken to take home. “So we went into corner Galley at 815 (close at 9 on Sundays) but they were done seating so we went to runyons... We decided if Matty was behind the bar we'd sit with him but it wasn't so we sat at a table with Sabie. Service and food were wonderful, we both did the pasta night. Wife had the carbonara and I had the eggplant. We also got an order of calamari, which was awesome but waaaayyyy to much food for just the 2 of us. Food was great, service was great, place was vibing with the Nfc championship game on and people in the bar having fun. Great overall experience.“
