“Did a family dinner for 9 on an early Saturday night. We were seated and were able to order promptly and the service was very good and accomodated several requests attentively. However as the restaurant filled up beyond capacity the service became harder to find. Our server was busy at a packed bar so I had to find him there to pay the bill. They have a great selection of food for kids and a good selection for adults. The salmon and several types of steak and appetizers were good and the complimentary pretzels and cotton candy was a hit with everyone. My swordfish special was incredibly salty and perhaps was a frozen piece that was thawed. I would have sent it back for sure but knew it would take forever for any replacement so I just picked at it and ate my green beans and rice. The beans were actually cooked to perfection and really good. Great choice for okay food and family gatherings.Kid-friendliness: The kids were very content with the food and atmosphere.“
“I went there years ago and I loved it. The food was fresh and deliciously prepared. The nautical vibe is awesome it’s literally right by the water. The service was awesome. But there was one thing that stands out is a cocktail that tasted like Banana Taffy. I don’t remember the name but is was the most delicious cocktail I’ve ever had. I’ve been meaning to go back ever since. Great place! Great food, great service, great vibe and amazing cocktails!“
“I thought this was just a burger joint. I was wrong.Extensive menu of bowls, sandwiches, soups and more.Good but not great burger. Fries were fresh and hot. The chicken pot pie special looked top notch.Staff was outstanding! The hostess was very informative and helpful. She was extremely patient in answering questions. Burger is a mix from a local butcher, rolls are from a bakery. Will have to go back and try the hangover burger and some other dishes. Will update the review when we do.“
“My third visit here and I continue to be impressed and amazed at this wonderful gem of a resto right here in Nassau county. Small and intimate with an amazing staff. Our lovely waitress Eimear was knowledgeable about all the food and paid very special attention to me and my niece- who was celebrating her birthday. Everything was delicious including the meticulously crafted cocktails. Can't wait to return !“
“The food at Seasons is consistently excellent. I had the rainbow trout which was cooked to perfection. The filet mignon was perfectly cooked and extremely tender. Desserts as always, very good. Our server , Kali was attentive and did a great job! Can't wait to go back !“
“Incredibly homey service and atmosphere!! Everything was delicious and very fresh. The dips and platters were absolutely unforgettable, vibrant flavors and amazing balance in taste — not a single complaint first time going! (those lemon potatoes are nothing less than mind blowing) Everything tasted completely authentic and don’t skip on the Greek hot coffee, made over sand and very rich tasting. The deserts also were an extremely satisfying end to a meal, being very rich and delectable. Service was wonderful, giving all customers a friendly and comforting welcome, making everything feel natural and inviting.“
“The food was excellent as always. The service was excellent. The Waiter was very attentive. The noise level was moderate and the table selection was a great location. It is always a wonderful experience to dine here whether it be personal , or business.“
“Food is great! Already been there a few times with my boyfriend. Definitely becoming one of our favorite places to go. We keep forgetting to take pictures of our food though ?. The hippie chicken is the best thing on their menu in my opinion. The owner John( I think that’s his name, I’m terrible with names though) is very nice, approachable, knowledgeable.“
“Small and quaint family run Portuguese restaurant. It was a full house so reservations a must. I had the stuffed Lobster which was excellent. The appetizers were fantastic as well. Byob as they don't have a liquor license as of yet. Definitely worth checking out!!“
“This restaurant can lend itself to a very noisy environment. Yet today, with several tables taken, conversation was easy and able to be heard. We have been here several times for brunch and a couple of times for dinner. Delicious salad with greens, grape tomatoes and fresh red onions cut over a chicken milanese. Companions enjoyed their choices of crab cake benedict and a large cubano sandwich served with homemade shoestring fries. Shared their homemade flourless chocolate cakes served with a small scoop of vanilla ice cream. Three happy people after an excellent brunch.“
“Went for the first time and they live up to the hype. The eggs were fluffy and tasty and the proportions were excellent. Thomas's food was the best breakfast pickup I've had in a long time. I usually stopped in Mineola Diner for convenience but their food and service has tanked in the past few years and decided to try somewhere new. I got takeout, so I did not sit inside, but I did hear that they are usually very crowded which is a good sign. The staff were polite and quick and really on their game. Finally nice to find a diner that lives up to their reputation. I'd rather spend a few extra bucks for good food.“
“My son & ordered breakfast sandwiches to be picked up and the service was very sweet and prompt! My son said his sandwich (the one with mushrooms) was "amazing!" I got the egg white wrap which was also delicious- very fresh with a perfect balance of ingredients. And the coffee was really good too!“
“George Martin The Original is an amazing restaurant with exceptional food and service. Parking can be tough in Rockville Centre but George Martin has plenty of parking in the back. The bar is very large with plenty of seating...regulars often eat at the bar to chat with people around them and the wonderful bartenders. Reservations are recommended especially during busy hours. My husband and I started with two signature drinks...coconut Margarita and French martini. One better than the other. We shared a wedge salad which was split in the kitchen and chopped. Delicious! We both had steak, my favorite is Skirt steak, his filet mignon. Both cooked perfectly to our liking...dessert was pecan pie sundae... yummy... The service is the best around...especially the manager Suzanne who walks around making sure everyone is happy...can be a bit loud but the energy is contagious....love it there and so will you“
“Celebrated son's Birthday...was looking for a special experience. French Onion Soup, Clams Casino, Filet Mignon, and Stuffed Pork Chop plus two scrumptious unique deserts hit the mark. I recommend Chadwick's if you are looking for what was only available in Manhattan. Delicious food, and professional staff who knows how to make the customer feel appreciated.“
“My wife and I treated one of her client's and spouse to a late double Birthday celebratory dinner. Here are my thoughts about the meal: Pros: >The waiter was extremely professional and friendly. > We had the prix fixe dinner. Appetizers, Entrees, and Desserts were all delicious. > We felt welcomed to enjoy our company and were not rushed. Con: > According to the menu, Each Entree was supposed to be accompanied by both a potato and a vegetable. This was not the case. The four of us shared a single plate of roasted red potatoes and 5 nickel size pieces of a carrot. The waiter said this is correct and asked if we wanted tp pay for an actual side of vegetable. I was a bit embarrassed and found this odd when the prix fixe was supposed to come with enough vegetable for 4 people. This is definitely not what I would expect from a restaurant of this level.“
“my husband and i come here often when the cheeseburger cravings hit. All American is a community staple. Expect a long line, especially in the summer or on a beautiful day, but food comes out fast. There's outside seating in the front to enjoy your meal, but when that's all occupied, we usually eat our burgers in the car. Really, nothing beats all american... the price point is great and the burgers are always delicious.“
“Many restaurants could learn a thing or two from Small Batch. Wonderful experience. Not only was the food fresh, inventive and meticulously prepared, but the staff was just lovely. Everyone was warm, not snobby, and went above and beyond to make my sister's birthday brunch enjoyable for my family. The food focuses on spotlighting the local ingredients and isn't overly fancy. My favorites were the hot fried chicken sandwich, the deconstructed eggplant parm appetizer, and the spaghetti with tomato sauce off of the kids menu (could have used a touch of salt but I think they underseasoned on purpose because it's for kids). The only dish that was pretty underwhelming was the shrimp and grits, which was kind of bland. The decor is also so tasteful and I felt transported to a fancy farmhouse somewhere on the coast of Rhode Island or something. I'll definitely be back!“
“The food was incredible; it's feels like these days the restaurants in our area aren't trying that hard and make you feel like you should just accept the garbage food they serve you but not Copperhill; every dish was delicious and beautiful. The service was also great and overall it was an awesome experience. We can't wait to come back and try the brunch menu. The restaurant and bar area is also beautiful.“
“I highly recommend you come to the Rabbits Foot! Me and my boyfriend had a wonderful time last night! The live singer was great he sang great Elvis songs, the food was delicious, had the burrata and fried calamari as an appetizer , and for dinner I had the Rigatoni, and my boyfriend had a delicious burger everything was 10/10, the atmosphere was great! Our waitress was kind and timely, the drinks ? were great!“
“Drinks served with PRIDE. Frank, Eric and Vin are the best. Bouncers and owners are very friendly. Vibes and atmosphere are immaculate. Service is great even on busy nights! Live music/ DJ on weekends. Trivia on Mondays. Great happy hour Private party room is perfect for events. If you are looking for a bar in the area their are many but if you are looking for a great bar Ridge is the place.Happy appy appetizers :)“
“We’ve been here a few times, and every time it’s really good. Tonight though i enjoyed it so much I wrote the review before we even paid the check. I am so pleased with the menu changes! I tried the eggs in the garden dish (pictured) for dinner and it was amazing, and at such great value. The basil hummus was a warm savory and went so well with the roasted tomatoes and the poached eggs. My brother adores the shed bowl and gets it every time, my dad loves their Cobb salad and the breakfast bowl. My mom particularly loves the atmosphere. Even the tea they carry was so good my mom is probably going to order some on her own ? Our waitress tonight was really lovely and patient as well and took good care of us. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you!!Dietary restrictions: I am lactose intolerant and it was awesome to have the eggs in the garden dish without having to take a lactaid and without having to take out the cheese!“
“We held a small family event at Monaghan's. The owners were easy to work with to plan the menu, prices were reasonable, service was good, and the food was excellent. Would certainly plan there again if the situation calls for it or just go for dinner.“
“I challenge you to find a better restaurant anywhere on long island … you can’t … you walk into this place and you are transported to another world. The food is unbelievable the service is perfect the decor is unreal. A truly special place.“
“Outstanding, authentic New England style seafood and clam bar, nice, quaint location, Inside it's set up Like a traditional Raw bar, but they do have an enclosed patio that's climate control, and plenty of seating, all the seafood was fresh, delicious, great service even the owners come out to greet their customers, Multiple selections of clams and other shellfish, they even have burgers, too, I was very impressed with the service everything was cooked exactly the way I wanted it, and was delivered and served in a timely matter..Jose Was great, very friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, a lot of desserts, and delicious milkshakes, if you're a seafood lover, this is definitely the spot for you to visit,, Seafood bisque was creamy, I love the flounder fillet, calamari w/ or wo legs, were crispy, Their cold shrimp roll was very good“
“Food here is amazing. Yes it's in a bowling alley snack bar. But it's restaurant quality food. We love there fish tacos. Fresh fish so good. Coconut shrimp crispy and clean. Dad loved there chicken quesadilla prepared good. Intrude the bronx sausage and pork chop dish with broccoli rabe wow they is a great dish. Very reasonable easy parking and good food“
“I haven’t lived in this area for long but I have been in coming to this establishment since I moved here . They are super friendly and the food is fresh and delicious . Top tier especially for the late night vibes . Definitely have to try there “
“What a wonderful gem tucked away in Carle Place! My boyfriend and I went for the first time last night and had a wonderful experience. The food is scrumptious and the service and ambiance are top-notch. We can't wait to go back! Kim was our waitress. She was very welcoming and gave us recommendations! The garlic bread for the table was delicious. We started off with the grilled flatbread with the mission figs - the flat bread is made in house and was delicious and the toppings were fresh! I got the Romano Crusted Chicken and my boyfriend got the The Herb Crusted Rack of Lamb - both meals were perfectly portioned and fresh. For dessert, we got an apple crisp - very good! Can't wait to go back and try other options on the menu!“
“Great local diner. The service was fantastic and the food was definitely top tier diner food. We got the house made mozzarella sticks which were fresh and delicious. I also got the breakfast quesadilla which was really good. Highly recommend here if you're looking for a good diner.“
“I have been here many times. I am routinely surprised how the quality and service is always excellent.I did not take a picture, which I regret, but I dug right in. A Gyro Omlette! So good. Peppers onions and gyro meat. There are a lot of new places trying to do homemade boutique diner food at $$$$. The Station Plaza Coffee Shop and Diner is way better at a fraction of the cost $My suggestion, when traveling to NYC, stop and get food here. Order from the train and hop off for a quick to go order or sit and be treated to super nice people serving you.I only post recommendations of places that I can know are really good, but this place is at the top of the list for breakfast and lunch.Thank you Station Plaza Coffee Shop“
“If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would! I came here for brunch today and the food was out of this world. This is some of the best brunch I’ve had in a long time specifically the fajita skillet and French toast bites. I go around to many different places to try food and this was my first time here and I can tell you I will most definitely be back. Service was also excellent and owners are the nicest! I don’t write reviews too often so please check them out !“
“We have been many times for brunch and decided to try again for dinner. So glad we did. They had just changed their menu and, on a Saturday night, were willing to present a choice from their online menu which had not yet been updated to match their in-house menu. So, sole oreganata with shrimp was very good and made my guy smile. My pappardelle with short ribs could have used a sprinkling of chopped broccoli or palmful of peas. Prices are good and service is on point. And I was very happy to see them get very busy as the evening progressed. Offered live music but it was starting just after we were ready to leave.“
“I have been here twice and both times I had an amazing time! The food here is great! I have had the brisket sandwich, the steak tidbit sandwich and the French dip sandwich, all comes with French fried that are so deliciously yummy as well. I will most definitely be coming back and trying out the rest of the menu! Stay tuned for more!“
“Moved out here a few years ago.. live literally within a mile of this joint.. never stopped by. Decided to give it a go tonight (st Paddy's day).. it was pretty busy.. but man. What a great idea. Wish I had come sooner. Joe, the owner, was bartending and was an absolute gentleman. The hostess and waiter, and the wait staff were all attentive and very nice. We got calamari and a couple of burgers. Very reasonable prices and really great food. No complaints at all. It was a very nice night out for the Mrs and I. And now, unfortunately for my wallet, I'll have to find the time to frequent this joint for dinner. Really great spot. Really felt like a part of the family immediately.“
“We hadn't been to Palmers in a while so it was our first time back in over a year. The food and waitress were excellent. A lot of people working hard. The only negatives were it got very noisy around 7:00 on Saturday and the one young hostess was not very personable. She didn't greet us when we came in at all.“
“We attended Nya and Ned immersive dinner. There was 7 of us. Everyone raved about the food. It was delicious. It was such a cool experience and I love that they have so many fun events at 317. I HAVE to give a huge shout out to Josephina! She made this event possible [our original dinner was canceled] She added an extra night for us because it was my birthday. The candle at the end was a nice bonus! Thank you Josephina! Can't wait to go back for another event.“
“I saw this place in Yelp and decided to go for it. Bartender was extremely friendly and helpful, recommended a place to eat since they are currently without a chef so the kitchen was closed which was so disappointing. People had ordered and brought their own pizza and even offered to share. There is an outdoor area for nicer weather out back, and a second room that can be used for busy nights or private parties. A woman brought her dog and the bartender gave him treats, so yes this place is pet friendly. I give it 5 stars as everyone was so friendly.“
“Cute little place. I started coming here with my aunt after her chemo treatments. Very good food; very friendly people, waitresses, waiters, owner even the lady where you pay. Very clean very accommodating. I Absolutely recommend coming here.“
“Best breakfast place on Long Island! Excellent food, ambience, wait staff and value. Amazing selection of classic, as well as unique, menu choices. Attentive and friendly staff. Last Sunday morning we enjoyed live music by an excellent guitarist as we feasted on yet another delicious meal. Neil was great with his indomitable joyous demeanor as he brings you your meal along with his signature "Tada!" (and his rendition of "Happy Birthday" is also quite good!).“
“My Wife and I hosted our rehearsal dinner at the Library Cafe, Melissa was our coordinator and she was flawless with the planning, she had answers to all of our questions and understood our budget limitations, adapted to our one off requests and ensured us a great time. The day of event, Mike was our guardian angel, as soon as we got to the venue he had set up our welcome sign and all of our accessories that we assigned to some of our bridal party. He was on top of drink requests, music, and food to the point our guests were complimenting how incredible he was. He ran a 3 person show single handedly with no hiccups. The food was delicious and the space was great to fit our large party. We will absolutely be booking with them again for a future event.“
“Held a private birthday party here and we had such a nice time. Great cozy atmosphere, good food and such amazing staff. It’s such an inviting space and Gina was phenomenal to work with in planning the event. Super accommodating, friendly and helpful. I really appreciated how flexible she was with us. Thank you again NVT for the memories made!!“
“Food Nation Generation catered my party and they were great! Graham was so nice and easy to work with and my friends and family couldn’t stop talking about how good the food was. Everything from presentation to taste was spot on! We can’t wait to invite them back to cater our next event. Keep up the great work!!!“
“The French onion soup was really delicious and so was my French dip. The fries are crispy and the coleslaw was tasty! We went Sunday after 2:00 and it was pretty full so we had to sit in the upper area where we couldn’t see the Jets/Giants game, but that’s ok.“
“Mim's has a wonderful team. From arrival , seating , beverage and food service. Attentive to special needs, if required. Wide menu and special offerings. Genuine service and tasty offerings. Solid parking team upon arrival and departure. Thank you“
“My wife and I are gluten intolerant and we don’t eat meat so our diet is annoying to say the least. This place caters to people like us and we enjoyed our lunch here very much. We ate at the restaurant and were very happy with the food and the service.Vegetarian options: Beyond burger with gluten free bun was delicious.“
“If you’re considering JJ Coopers for a family, birthday or wedding party, don’t hesitate. We booked it on a cold afternoon for the funeral lunch of our uncle, a great guy.The food was fantastic, and the service was better. Amazing cozy atmosphere, and Matt, the event manager, helped me put my Spotify list of Irish, rock and Christmas songs on the sound system. He also loaded my 100 photo slide show (on all the bar TV’s) and helped us set out photos and albums for guests to look over. It was a perfect pubby/foodie/rockin’ send off for a helluva guy.“
“Everything last night was perfect. It was a rainy, lousy night, made fantastic by Park Place. Six of us at the round table, Islanders beating the Bruins on the big screen next to us, and a meal I did not want to end. First of all, our server Maddy's enthusiasm and recos were spot on. She was exactly perfectly attentive, charming and engaging. I asked her about her favorites and she cited the weather and said if you're looking for comfort food...and rattled off quite a lineup. I went with the Roasted Beet and Goat Cheese Salad to start because I knew I was going hearty on the entree with the French Onion Pork Chop special. Phenomenal. Impossibly huge chop, clearly carefully brined. Expertly prepared, hot and juicy. The French Onion gravy was at the same time sweet and savory, rich and just perfect. Sauteed broccoli rabe and butternut squash puree were perfect accompaniments. So many other dishes to try. Looking around our table and watching plates go by on their way to others, it was just sensory overload. We will be back again and again. Thanks Maddy and thanks, Park Place.“
“The aroma of beef and bacon was so amazing walking down Main street, we had to pop in for a quick bite while running some errands. So glad we did. The staff was helpful and attentive. The cocktail menu was clever as well as festive. The menu has all the right snacks and hand helds for one or a group. The events board has something posted for every day of the week. We had the Drunk Chicken Sammy with sweet potato tots and the We're Jammin Burger with battered fries. The vodka sauce with burrata elevated the chicken to the next level. Fig jam and candied bacon on the burger was on point. I will definitely partake in snacks the next time we are there for HH.“
“Went into this inconspicuous looking restaurant to find myself in love with the place. Great music, proper tables with tablecloth, silverware and real glasses!! (I can't believe I actually need to write this as a positive instead of it being normal)We got there for the happy hour special, and the drinks and snacks were amazing. The staff was very friendly and fun and the service was excellent. Decided to go later that evening for dinner and was even happier with the full meal, which was a great size for what we paid. Received true value for everything we got!!Definitely recommend stopping by here if you're in the area!“
“Excellent service, drinks and meal! The good Life Burger was amazing!! The fish and chips were plentiful and the batter dip chicken with the Brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes were scrumptious!! My martini was perfect with blue cheese stuffed olives!! I highly recommend The Good Life!!“
“Always wanted to visit finally didCan't wait to go backDebra and staff were great, my wife loved the veal sorrento and I had a double cut pork chop from the specials that was fantasticDid not realize until later that was probably Guy at the stove“
