“This place is going to be a favorite of mine in 2024. I recently celebrated my birthday at Harrison during brunch. The service was exceptionally attentive and personal. The food was fantastic with ample portions with left-overs tasing just as good as when dined. The music was classic rock with a lot of great classic americana portraits and photos of nostalgia. The staff was particularly attentive to our needs and we never had to wait. I can't reiterate how impressed I was with this restaurant. I must also add that the prices are very reasonable for what you get. The Harrison is five stars.“

“George Martin The Original is an amazing restaurant with exceptional food and service. Parking can be tough in Rockville Centre but George Martin has plenty of parking in the back. The bar is very large with plenty of seating...regulars often eat at the bar to chat with people around them and the wonderful bartenders. Reservations are recommended especially during busy hours. My husband and I started with two signature drinks...coconut Margarita and French martini. One better than the other. We shared a wedge salad which was split in the kitchen and chopped. Delicious! We both had steak, my favorite is Skirt steak, his filet mignon. Both cooked perfectly to our liking...dessert was pecan pie sundae... yummy... The service is the best around...especially the manager Suzanne who walks around making sure everyone is happy...can be a bit loud but the energy is contagious....love it there and so will you“

Here are my thoughts about the meal: Pros: >The waiter was extremely professional and friendly. > We had the prix fixe dinner. Appetizers, Entrees, and Desserts were all delicious. > We felt welcomed to enjoy our company and were not rushed. Con: > According to the menu, Each Entree was supposed to be accompanied by both a potato and a vegetable. This was not the case. The four of us shared a single plate of roasted red potatoes and 5 nickel size pieces of a carrot. The waiter said this is correct and asked if we wanted tp pay for an actual side of vegetable. I was a bit embarrassed and found this odd when the prix fixe was supposed to come with enough vegetable for 4 people. This is definitely not what I would expect from a restaurant of this level.“

The day of event, Mike was our guardian angel, as soon as we got to the venue he had set up our welcome sign and all of our accessories that we assigned to some of our bridal party. He was on top of drink requests, music, and food to the point our guests were complimenting how incredible he was. He ran a 3 person show single handedly with no hiccups. “Love going to Bigelows i’m sitting at the bar the experience is great watching the staff freshly batter seafood and putting it right in the fryer right in front of you. The New England clam chowder is like no other. It is very delicious and creamy the perfect consistency for clam chowder. Definitely the best around the Ipswich fried clams are my go to favorite. They are fried to perfection and very clean oil which makes the food very good because the oil is always clean that they cook in. The people that work at Bigelow’s are great. Always welcoming and fun to hang out with by the bar while you eat your delicious seafood, no matter what you get I highly recommend coming here if you are in the area and you love seafood, you will not get any fresher!! “I just recently hosted a retirement party here for my parents, and it truly could not have been a better experience. From first contact to the day of the event, Matt was so responsive and receptive to my requests. It was a seamless and stress free planning process, which made planning a surprise party so much easier. We did cocktail style passed appetizers, which were all delicious and plentiful for our about 60 person party! The wait and bar staff was so kind and helpful as well!! Everyone had a fantastic time and my parents had a retirement party to remember! Change the price on the website before you charge customers and add on an additional $3 per person. Parking also was difficult because there are signs all over the streets no parking. If Mystic comes back I’ll go but won’t go anymore on principle of the raised price without it matching the website and their cashiers window. Unfair. And many people were complaining about this.“

Really appreciated the huge beer menu and some not so well known beers. I had a Granola Brown Ale from Black Hog in CT. We started with the Crispy Cauliflower app in the chili sauce. It was excellent. My wife had the Spaghetti Squash with the pesto sauce. It was very good, on the smaller size, but a nice plate. I ordered one of the St. Patrick's specials, Corned Beef, Cabbage and potato entree. I was disappointed in the meal. While the corned beef was pretty good, the potatoes and the cabbage were undercooked and hard. took a lot away from the meal.Definitely will try the place again as the vibe and the service was first rate.“

The inside seating is great for colder weather with a view... but when the weather is nice, you can't beat dining right on the water. There are tables along 2 docks to eat at. There are also seats and bar stands directly on the beach below the dock. There is also an adult area and a family friendly area! The sunsets are unbeatable if you go at the right time. They also decorate very well and the lights look beautiful! The drinks are good and the service is great with a very kind, attentive staff. The parking situation is an absolute nightmare if you don't live in the area, and the wait times can be very long during peak season. Definitely plan accordingly! If this review was based solely on food, I'd likely give my Surf & Turf meal a 3/5. It was good, but not anything special. The side of broccoli was almost completely raw. Overall, Buoy Bar is such a cool place and I'd absolutely recommend coming here for some apps and drinks and enjoying the views!“
