“We have been dining here for 30 years and its still outstanding! They have great food at great prices and its always a delicious meal. We were here on Saturday Sept 21 with my brother and sister in law. We shared everything. The octopus, tuna sashimi pizza and roasted beet salad were really good! So were the shrimp tacos and our entrees. We had drinks at the bar before dinner and it was very comfortable and friendly. The bartender was quick and very competent. This place always has great food and service at very affordable prices. They also did a wonderful job for our daughters bridal shower when we took over the restaurant on a weekend morning! They are always professional and warm and welcoming too!“

My Father has since passed but my Sister took my Mother there today and they gave my Mom hugs, told her they loved her and how cute she was. I was in tears when I heard this from my Sister. I am so Happy that my Mom has this place to go to to get out and feel so loved by so many. Over the years the Sunrise Diner has been a very Happy Place to go to. The service is the best we've ever had. They've treated my Family like Family. I cannot thank the People at the Sunrise Diner enough! They mean so much to my Family. And you can't beat their food!!! “Beginning with the valet parking and ending with individual French press coffee, this was a magnificent experience! Started with white wine, Fuji Apple salad. Entrée was perfectly prepared Seafood "Paella", finished with coffee and Banana Pudding Wafer Jar. The view of the pond from the window was relaxing. Best dining experience. “This is my parents’ favorite restaurant in Long Beach so we order from here every time we visit. The family special is unreal!!! The food, the top-notch quality, the offerings - a big platter of eggplant Parmesan and their crispy fried chicken, with cauliflower on the side, big Mexican salads, and even caramel ice cream for dessert. Always reliably five stars. Fed all six of us and was such a treat. Can’t wait for next time.

“Nice local spot, has been around for over 10yrs too, local neighborhood place. Sit and have a drink at the bar or bar tables... or take a table for your meal. We did both. The drinks were good, the apps were good: wings nice sweet heat and crispy, the dumplings & fried mozzarella both the typical flavor and didn't stand out but still enjoyable, as for the stuffed clams, kinda the usual all bread little clam( what were we thinking). Our meals were overall good too; the chicken cordon bleu came pre sliced not as hot as I would like though, a little dry lacking enough cheesy center, yet it was still tasty, and on the other hand the marinated skirt steak was enjoy by two others in our party, full of flavor cooked correctly and very tender. All sides of rice and broccoli were a nice complement to our entrees. (one less star for the maraschino cherries in our old fashion and the waitress with zero personality) note: the table was well serviced though; waters filled regularly, bread replenished, plates cleared!“

The only negative is it's sometimes hard to find parking in that giant lot as it's part of a mall and a movie theater. But, they do have valet.“

I also have to commend Applebee's for their community service, this time they had a special that benefited Alex's Lemonade Stand. In the past, they have also helped the high school swim team with a fund raising breakfast. Their hearts are in the right place. We enjoyed our dinner, the food was good, the service was good. Tex Mex with Ribeye nice, tasty and you can tell it’s fresh meat not the frozen BS loved it ! my daughters Harlem World (chopped cheese) was also delish bread was soft and also the fresh cut fries arrived crispy on delivery to Roslyn which is hard to accomplish. “Just had an RVC fire department brunch here. Jackie Amato is amazing as the event coordinator, patient, kind and so wonderful to work with. We had the brunch buffet and omelet station. The food was delicious and plentiful. The staff and servers were outstanding, helpful and so genuinely kind. They were so willing to help set up our centerpieces and couldn't do enough to make everything so special. Our bartender Victor was off the charts amazing. The room was beautiful and bright.
