“We were looking for somewhere to grab a bite to eat before going to a lecture at the Merrick Public Library. The photos of the food looked fabulous, so we decided to give Bourbon & Brews a try. We were greeted by Will, who rocks, offering happy hour specials and cocktails in a pint glass. Burgers were great, and the nachos were superior. Definitely will be back!”

They have the best bacon and egg sandwiches and their tuna and chicken salads are always a welcome sight back home. Their bagels are always fresh and flavorful no matter what variety I get. I've come to know the owner, Boris, and his staff, and they are always most helpful. Looking forward to my next trip to Merrick.”

“One of the best bars in Nassau. Great friendly staff, they make you feel like one of the crew quickly. Great drinks with a wide selection of Beam. As far as the food goes, there is not better place to get wings in the county. Wide range of heat and flavors, always made to perfection. Then of course there is the pizza that will beat most pizzerias round. They almost have a restaurant menu in a bar. There is not better place to watch any sports from horse racing to football and everything in between. The place has a lot of modern TVs so getting the game you want is pretty easy (just ask). Yes they do have WiFi as well. Highly recommend this bar.”

“Just have to give a quick shoutout to Hard Bean on Merrick Ave. Victor and his wife Elise opened 10 days ago just north of the train station. My fiancé and I were talking to the owners and learned that opening a coffee shop was Victor’s dream. After working at his previous career for almost 30 years, he retired and opened this place. It’s charming inside and the coffee is delicious and less expensive than *$s. They are literally a mom and pop shop and after spending some time there I wanted to post to support and recommend Hard Bean to all the locals.”

“Guys, I have to share my experience at Let's Roll because it was wonderful. I don't really like ice cream (i know, that's crazy right?), but my husband and my kids always go to this place so I decided to try it. It's a super friendly place that's owned by a wonderful couple (Craig & Giselle, I think? I don't really know if that's how she spells it), but I never wanted to try the ice cream. Except today. I tried the passion fruit flavor - and my God, there's nothing like it! You really have to taste it - it's so yummy. And besides, the place is super family-friendly, with super nice people, such positive energy. I will be back soon. 5 stars for Let's Roll in Merrick!”

We even had leftovers to take home! Fabio went above and beyond helping us set up the decorations the night before my party. We never felt rushed (we were there til 1am). He wants his guests to have a great experience and we did! Thanks to Fabio, Rose, Marty and the entire staff for a great party!”

“I first came to Mio Posto for dinner on a Friday night with my husband and we absolutely loved it. The music, energy and overall vibe made us instantly want to come back. The atmosphere was lively with a live DJ, friendly bartenders and generous food portions. After such a great first experience, I decided to host my birthday dinner here. The staff was incredibly accommodating. I originally made a reservation for 15 guests, but it increased to 20 and they handled the change without any issues. The restaurant had a fun luau theme that evening which was cute because everyone was in theme. We chose the $100 prix fixe menu with the 3-hour open bar and everyone in my party enjoyed the food, drinks and overall experience. A special shoutout to our waiter, I unfortunately can’t remember his name at the moment but he was also our server the first time we visited. He was so kind, attentive and genuinely sweet, so I was thrilled to see him taking care of my birthday party. He truly helped make the night even more special.”

“Greek Cove Merrick’s lunch special is incredible. Ate the warm pita in the car on the way home! Grilled chicken with a salad and rice. One huge chicken cutlet over a generous portion of delicious rice and a tasty Greek salad- with a grape leaf and feta! I am a very picky eater but this chix was seasoned beautifully, so that if garlic, onion or rosemary(my triple threat) was used, it all blended together perfectly so that even I could not pick out the offensive spice. Amazingly, the yogurt sauce is also tasty( I hate yogurt sauce;usually throw it away). Forgot to tell them not to give it to me, so as not to waste it, but I’m glad I forgot! All of this, and a lot of smiling happy employees, for $12.99 cash. Wowza.”

“Kareem is a SAINT!! He greeted me my first time, and he has the warmest welcoming personality. Their pastries are the absolute best, and they make a bad morning better. Their cheese danish is extremely custardy, and has a soft background of vanilla. It's flakey, and falls apart when you bite it. I love their atmosphere, their employees—this location is amazing, and I've made myself a weekly regular solely from his hospitality.”

“We had a super busy day at work; so I had placed an online order for the office for lunch through their website. Easy enough. However, I realized I put the incorrect address after I had already placed the order. Thankfully I was able to call them to get it straightened out before the order was delivered. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone at Via Roma was super helpful and extremely nice. Apparently door dash does the delivery for online orders. We received the order within 45 min, even at peak lunch time, which worked out in our favor. The grandma pizza was amazing. Even the regular peperoni was delicious. Both pies arrived hot. The salad was fresh with perfect amount of dressing. Definitely recommend. Just make sure you don't put the incorrect address while multitasking at work. Lol Thanks Via Roma! 😊”

“we love ralph’s ever since they opened our daughter is now 25 years old and we love have been enjoying it ever since her birth.
Every time we go there we spend at least $50 -$75.00. The only negative thing is that spending so much money you would think they would give us a break or something for free. Some locations the young teenagers have a little bit of an attitude. So we started going to different locations.
Also some of them don’t pack the ices deep into the containers .

They were cooked to our requested spice. We also brought our own wine with no issues and a very small cork fee. The experience was great. I'll come back.

“I would not recommend La Bottega Merrick. I am very disappointed in the customer service. I placed a panini box order for a small party. I then went into the Merrick store to personally go over the order. I requested two paninis to be wrapped separately. One was a gluten free panini and the other was an Erika panini for my grandson. My husband picked the order up but when we opened the order, the Erika panini was not there. We called immediately and they said someone would bring it right away. There was no apology and we waited over an hour for it to be delivered. Mistakes do happen but how a business handles their mistake is very telling about how much their customers matter. The message was clear that customer service is not a priority. Additionally, the grilled chicken in the paninis was very tough and chewy. We order often from the East Meadow restaurant but they are closed on Sundays so we decided to order from the Merrick location. We have never had a problem at the East Meadow location but will not order from La Bottega Merrick again.”

Italian Chicken pasta salad is awesome. My teen loves their Chicken cutlet, mozzarella sandwich with lettuce, tomato and balsamic vinegar. chicken quesadillas are delishous - I mean I can go on and on 😋 we travel from Wantagh just cuz - they are the best!!
