I went in on the night before Christmas Eve to the store in Merrick and the sales associate was so sweet, helpful and easy to talk to. There weren’t many flavors to choose from as I went late in the evening. Everyone at dinner on Christmas Eve said these cookies were better than Crumble!“

“For the sole attribute that they have so many vegan and non meat options, the Bagel Boss is IT. I can get a whole wheat everything with scallion tofu CC and all is right in the world for at least a morning (especially a morning after a night of drinking). The staff is wonderful. Everyone is nice and they work the line quickly. You'll be in and out even with a long line. The sticker shock, though. A bagel and tofu CC is a little over 6 bucks. What? When did that happen? I get that prices for everything are bordering on insane. It's OK, because it's an occasional indulgence. And god, did it taste good.“

I have been working with her for a few years on cakes for celebrations. She’s very quick to respond and always gets it right! The cakes are always so delicious and creative!!“

“Absolutely incredible! Everything is perfect from here! I would say the Linzers are top tier! The Linzers are just perfect surpringly light with great jelly. You would expect a lot of these desserts to be very heavy but they actually are not crazy. Everything is just flavored perfectly you would thing a brownie crammed with a rainbow cookie would be very rich surprisingly it was just right. They really hit it out of the park with everything. My only wish is that you could get smaller portions of the regular cookies I didn't feel like shelling oit $20 for a pound while I was already trying all this other stuff. Maybe a half pound option or make like an uncut brick of tricolor cookies.“
“We booked our son’s baptism with Frank’s steaks in RVC and they are affiliated with whistle stop for the occasion cake. I was so blown away by this cake I had to come and make a review. It’s so hard to find a good sheet cake for special occasions. The flavor and texture of the cake was so delicious. We chose a chocolate mouse filling and it exceeded our expectations. The cake was so so delicious and beautifully decorated, which is also hard to come by with these types of cakes. I would definitely use them for future occasion cakes. It was perfect and my guests were asking where the cake was from so they could use in the future. Thank you so much whistle stop. :)“
