“I had the pleasure of trying cakes from this bakery, and I was genuinely surprised by how delicious they were, especially considering they were eggless! I was introduced to this spot by a friend, and I’ll admit my expectations were low when I heard the cakes didn’t use eggs. But after one bite, I was completely won over. My absolute favorite is their butterscotch cake. It’s rich, flavorful, and perfectly moist. These cakes are so popular that slices often sell out quickly, so I highly recommend reserving ahead of time if you want to guarantee your pick.
Even their cookies are tasty, though I do think they’re a bit pricier for the quantity you get. Still, the cakes are definitely the star of the show and worth every penny.“

“I stopped in to Emilia’s Bakehouse Café on Walt Whitman Rd in Melville yesterday (they have another location in E. Northport) and boy, was I glad I did! I entered into a well-lit shop filled with pastries, scones, cookies, brownies, croissants, breads and quiches, etc. and was greeted with enthusiasm and a smile by 2 attractive young ladies. It was a great vibe just being there, very stress relieving. The chocolate brownie is perfection in texture and taste! The scones and peanut butter coconut power bites are delicious! Their organic Colombian coffee is the bomb, and you can get it with your favorite milk - for me it’s Oat Planet oat milk. Stop in, it’ll make your day! A feast for the eyes and tastebuds :)“

“I had read great reviews about this bakery and ordered a birthday cake for a relative. All the reviews live up to the great things said and some. This was one of the best cakes I have had in years. So fresh, so well decorated and exactly as requested. I give my 100% plus recommendation to anyone looking for a bakery. It is worth traveling to. The donuts were awesome too just as advertised. Very large, expertly filled and tasted so fresh like they were baked about an hour before I picked them up.“

“Whenever I'm in Merrick, which is usually two or three times a month, I always stop at Bagelman of Merrick. They have the best bacon and egg sandwiches and their tuna and chicken salads are always a welcome sight back home. Their bagels are always fresh and flavorful no matter what variety I get. I've come to know the owner, Boris, and his staff, and they are always most helpful. Looking forward to my next trip to Merrick.“

“I’ve had Katie’s blueberry pie, cupcakes and her signature carrot cake and everything has been absolutely delicious! Her carrot cake is SO moist and full of delicious, fresh goodness that you can actually see the carrots and raisins. The frosting adds the perfect sweetness and enhances the cake’s flavor. The best I’ve ever had! Her blueberry pie, another winner, delicious and made with fresh blueberries and not overly sweet. As she said everything is made from scratch with fresh ingredients and best of all you can taste the love she puts into her baking. Good luck with your new store and I will definitely be stopping by!!“
