“The restaurant is located in back of Jone Beach Hotel. We were greeted and seated as we made reservations. The drinks were good as well as food. The sharing portion is for more than two people. The waitress was nice and attentive to our table. Will definitely be going again as it was a great experience.”

How many places can you say that about? There is always something new to try, but you can always fall back to a favorite as well. “It’s a owner operator business, Manuel, is a star! Went in for lunch with my good friend he was Very attentive. We had the shrimp quesadilla and chicken crunch wrap! Three different mild sauces and three different hot sauces . Their homemade hot sauce was excellent! Chorizos was spectacular! Nobody’s gonna run it the way you want it! “Excellent fish store. Always busy, always very friendly and patient, always a sufficient number of workers. All types of fish prepared and sliced according to your order. There is a restaurant attached that I have never had the opportunity to experience, but it is always spotlessly clean and delicious I am sure. My go to fish store when I am in the area. “Recently enjoyed our breakfast at Sunrise Diner. Had a nicely cooked sunny side ups, bacon, and homefries platter. Other folks had similar breakfast fare.The staff was friendly and attentive. No complaints here. Just complements.”

“Overall a very nice experience . The service was fantastic, the drinks were served quick. We had the meatballs as an appetizer and they were perfect... very tasty. We both had the chicken parm. It was clearly freshly made and overall a nice meal. The only thing we didn't like is how oily the chicken parm was. The oil took over the taste a bit, but it was still pretty good.”

“Quaint little bar with great wing and drink specials on Wednesdays and has been a quintessential part of the Wantagh bar scene for about as long as I can remember and even before that. You can always count on friendly faces and cold drinks but definitely be prepared to bump some elbows when it gets busy because it gets tight! Plenty of parking both in the from and back of the bar.”

“Great place with great pastry options! Went there at the end of a Sunday for a coffee and pastry and I was pleasantly surprised. The croissant filled pistachio cream was delicious as well as the apricot and almond bar! The monte cristo sandwich was ok, would not order again. “The restaurant is in a low traffic area and seems to do decent with takeout. I haven't seen anyone sit down yet each time I went. Restaurant looks pretty clean and full of space. The folk working here are pretty nice. Portion sizes are either lunch or dinner size for your platters. Even the lunch size is a good size portion enough for one person. The dinner size is enough for two people. When we ordered the lunch size for gyro, we had a choice of either a salad or a soup for the first side which is separate from the gyro and there is a second side that goes along with the gyro, so you can pick one of the following fries, rice, lemon potatoes or grilled vegetables. The container is filled about 80% full with grilled pita. When we ordered the dinner size for gyro, its the same as lunch but you can pick two of the sides that go along the gyro. This is effectively filling your container all the way to the top at 100% filled with grilled pita. Recently it appears they increased this to up to three sides, but I imagine they will just reduce the portion size of each side if you pick three but would still fill the container full. The Greek salad is good and the soups we tried were also good. The gyros and chicken souvlaki were on point.”

“Pizza was great - we had 2 personal pans of the margarita pizza and vodka pizza. So yummy and tasteful, great size and so well cooked, great flavors. Also had the chicken ceasar which was decent, more like a sandwich rather than a panini as it wasn’t melted together, but overall good. Would so go back for the pizza! Even my kids loved it and they can be picky with sauces and cheese haha.”

“Best eatery in Wantagh. Not sure when I'll eat something there and not enjoy it, but not anytime soon. Specials nights are fairly priced. The half pound burger is less expensive than a Big Mac. The 3 course meal is $46. And again, anything I've eaten was enjoyable. I feel like I say that a lot, but I am choosy. Yeah I can eat fried cheese somewhere and be happy, but the food here is next level.”

“We were traveling to a family reunion and wanted to stop off at a local brew pub on our way. The Wantagh inn fit the bill. We sat at the bar and had some delicious Guinness, we opted for the set lunch menu which was plenty of delicious food. The local crowd was friendly and gave us suggestions for our drive. I’ll be back when we gather again.”

“What a gem. If ya don't feel like cooking Italian style, this is your place! All your favorites are there, made from scratch and ready to heat and eat. I go often for their Italian hero. I don't tell them what to put on it except roasted peppers. Each guy makes it differently but all are delicious. Got some boars head cold cuts cheaper and fresher than the local supermarkets.”

“Nice little place..I usually order the Mahi Mahi tacos. You can get them.fried, grilled or blackened. I always get them blackened but I tell the to go easy on the seasonings so it's not too spicy. The order comes with 2 big tacos and a side which for 14 bucks is pretty good and the Fish is always fresh.”

The service is generally quick, my recent visit on a Saturday evening was a ton of takeout orders were being prepared before I was waited on. The ambiance of this location is excellent. Its size would be great for viewing a football game. This is far the largest one I've been to of the chain and always enjoy going when on that side of town”

“Just went there today with some coworkers for sit down lunch in the back. It was clean and looked very nice. Our waiter was super friendly and brought us water and bread and some garlic knots!!! We had fried calamari which was light and crispy, mozzarella sticks (cheese was soft and melted on the inside) and the bruschetta (fresh and tasted ok). I ordered the chicken marsala which was very tasty. Several people ordered salads which looked very large and good as well. Definitely would consider returning with my family one day when we're craving Italian”

“People go to Dunkin donuts so they can get quick service. It is not to time efficient to keep the napkins and other supplies, on the other side of the store, and not next to the register. Covid restrictions are long gone and the store should be set up more user-friendly. Staff is always very ”
