“Gotta start out by saying a good piece of fried chicken is hard to come by when you do takeout. By the time you get it home it’s usually soggy and not as crispy as you’d want it butttt… This Chicken Holiday has always been consistent when it comes to keeping their chicken crispy! Been coming here for a couple years now and they never disappoint. We usually get only breasts and fries and they’re delicious every single time. We do Nathan’s fries since they’re crispy and soft at the same time, plus who doesn’t love the little red pitchforks that come with them. Besides the food being good and always on point, the best part is their customer service. On 2 separate occasions I just so happen to spark up a convo with the people at the counter, I’m guessing it was the owners on both occasions. Very friendly, incredibly generous and you can tell they care. Will keep coming back for sure ??”

The star of the menu has to be the fire waffles and chicken crispy, savory, and perfectly paired with fluffy waffles that had the perfect touch of sweetness. It’s comfort food at its finest, and the portion sizes are just right. The hot chocolate? Out of this world just what you need to warm your soul. “The owner is great, the bartenders are great, Kerry the manager is so kind and nice and accommodating. The food is delicious; there’s too much food there’s always at least two meals for each order the food that you make. The overall ambience is fun as the patrons that frequent this restaurant are regulars. There’s just a homey and fun tinge to this Bellmore Classic.”

“I’ve been going here since I was little and boy have they always delivered, like if I had to choose best pizza place this would be it 100% only gripes I got are that sometimes the pizza is different like more cheese less sauce little issues every blue moon. My favorite dish here is the spaghetti and meatballs and if I had to choose taste this would be my equivalent of heaven on earth. Overall would eat here as long as I live within a 1 hour distance.”

“Stopped in here after cashing in my birthday scratch off next store. Never knew this place existed. Lovely friendly owner. Bought a cranberry muffin and a corn muffin. First time in years I had a fresh homemade muffin that I didn’t make myself, except these weren’t dry like mine are. These aren’t your typical commercial mix bakery muffins full of preservatives! I will be back to try more homemade goodies.”

“The store is clean. Pleasent atmosphere. This establishment ONLY takes cash. There's an ATM on promises. Usually, cash only translates to great prices. That's not the case at this deli. Several staff members where I work feel items are overpriced, I agree. Most say they'll just go up to Merrick Rd. instead. Apparently, the local residents don't mind the pricing there. Parking is limited on the street.”

A WIDE MENU. A NICE CROWD. Fun to eat at the bar or grab a quick lunch.

Salads, Burgers, appetizers... a lot better than fast food at a not much higher price.

“I’ve never been to a rodizio restaurant before, and I came up to Long Island to spend Easter and my birthday with my daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren. It was by far the best experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant, the staff were professional, knowledgeable, efficient , the food is constantly hot. I would rate this restaurant at 10 star! If you’re on Long Island, it’s a must to try!”

“My co workers and I used to order from this deli 4-5 times a week. They would constantly send the wrong order. Every time we called to inform them, the person answering the phone would be nasty, insisting we were lying. We’ve spent hundreds there. We stopped ordering from them up until yesterday. We decided to give them another shot. The delivery driver who dropped our order off, once again brought us the wrong order. We contacted them immediately. He than came back to bring us the right order and started harassing everyone. Yelling in front of people, demanding we give him more money ontop of what our order was. Demanded a tip. He was scaring everyone around him. He wouldn’t leave. We then handed him extra money so he would finally leave and he still refused.”

“Recently found this place and have been very happy I did. The meats have a decent char which I look for with my meat forward meals if I can get things cooked by flame. The seating is not best but honestly that’s far from a deterrent for me. I want repeated and proper flavor from the kitchen and that’s what I’ve gotten. I’ve also brought a myriad of friends here and they all concur that the food is a very good handling of what Greek/gyro flavors should be. Definitely worth a try for me.”

Stella's is consistently good. Fresh, flavorful food and attentive service. The baked clams and penne a la vodka are on point. My daughter loves their baked ziti. And the grandma pies are terrific. My family's favorite local Italian restaurant!”
