“Fantastic Eastern European fare. Love the Beets and Butter side dish. Akin to Vaselka but closer to home. Definitely coming back to try different things on the menu like the borsht and the blintzes.”

“The owner is great, the bartenders are great, Kerry the manager is so kind and nice and accommodating. The food is delicious; there’s too much food there’s always at least two meals for each order the food that you make. The overall ambience is fun as the patrons that frequent this restaurant are regulars. There’s just a homey and fun tinge to this Bellmore Classic.”

“I’ve been going here since I was little and boy have they always delivered, like if I had to choose best pizza place this would be it 100% only gripes I got are that sometimes the pizza is different like more cheese less sauce little issues every blue moon. My favorite dish here is the spaghetti and meatballs and if I had to choose taste this would be my equivalent of heaven on earth. Overall would eat here as long as I live within a 1 hour distance.”

“Rodney was one of the greatest waiters I’ve ever had in my life. From the moment we sat down, he brought the perfect mix of professionalism, energy, and genuine kindness. He was attentive without hovering, quick with recommendations, and somehow made the whole meal feel easy and fun. Drinks stayed full, food arrived smoothly, and every interaction felt personal instead of scripted.
What really stood out was his attitude. Rodney treated our table like we were important guests, not just another order during a busy shift. He anticipated needs before we asked, checked in at the right moments, and kept the vibe upbeat the entire time. You can tell he takes pride in his work and cares about giving people a great experience.
Honestly, Rodney turned a casual Applebee’s visit into one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. Applebee’s is lucky to have him! Give that man some recognition, a RAISE, and maybe his own menu item. The manager and Rodney gave us some complimentary desert as well.”

“I've been coming to the Roast Sandwich House about six times over the last 3 months, there's a young man here named Gio he is very courteous and if efficient and processing our orders and recommending the specials each week when we come here. Good staff is hard to come by and he probably deserves a raise. We seem to eat out a lot around the island and he is probably one of the best servers I've seen.”

“This place is great, they make amazing grilled cheese and breakfast sandwiches. I wish they had tomato soup to go with the grilled cheese, but hey, can't have everything. The cookies and sweets are to die for. Stop in, grab a cookie, have a sandwich. The staff are super awesome. They're closed on Mondays though. The rest of the week though, they open. Limited seating, so maybe do a grab and run. This local business is great. Stop in.”

“The store is clean. Pleasent atmosphere. This establishment ONLY takes cash. There's an ATM on promises. Usually, cash only translates to great prices. That's not the case at this deli. Several staff members where I work feel items are overpriced, I agree. Most say they'll just go up to Merrick Rd. instead. Apparently, the local residents don't mind the pricing there. Parking is limited on the street.”

“I love this place! Their pretzels are soooo good! Not that Auntie Anne’s garbage that is soaked in oil and butter. These pretzels actually taste like real pretzels. Like the ones you get at a food truck in NYC. Once you have these, you’ll never eat pretzels anywhere else. The place is very clean and the owner/manager is so nice! They really love their customers and it shows. Check them out next time you’re in Bellmore. You won’t regret it. 🥨”

“Came here for lunch with Mr two kids and it was a nice experience. Food was really really good!! I can't remember a time my daughter has finished a plate and she finished all her food. My son had his Sushi and I had mine and everything was really delicious! Lovely service too!”

“THIS is the place to cater your next affair ! Don’t hesitate, book it now ! My wife and I recently experienced the joy of hosting my son and daughter-in-law’s wedding rehearsal dinner for seventy family members and out-of-town friends. We have been regular customers at Umberto’s Pizzeria for years, next door to the restaurant, getting our weekly Sunday or Monday night pizza pie. Nevertheless, we had never previously ventured into their restaurant next door. What a pleasant surprise ! What a smart decision to book the party here at the renowned Umberto’s of New Hyde Park. The second floor of the restaurant opens up into a spacious, light-filled, warm and welcoming room, big enough to feel like a proper celebration event space. There was plenty of room for our family and friends to mingle and even plenty of space for the several toddlers in attendance to sit and play, and run around. They enjoyed the party as much as anyone ! The catering menu provided a wide variety of choices from appetizers, salads, pastas and main courses from which our son and daughter-in-law selected from to satisfy the preferences of all of our guests. The food was delicious, as we’ve come to expect. Also, thank goodness each table received a Grandma’s Pizza. An affair at Umberto’s isn’t complete without a taste of the Grandma Pizza. The wait staff couldn’t have been any more attentive and solicitous. They were sensational. It’s obvious what a well managed team this is, kudos to Katy and Gaetano. Thank you Umberto’s for making this a most memorable affair. One minor note - The menu, to our surprise, doesn’t include dessert. What’s an Italian meal without a tiramasu, cannoli, or napoleon ? “I have been ordering from Stella's since my family moved to Bellmore two years ago. I've been to Stella's for dinner with the family, ordered delivery and even had them cater my parties. Stella's is consistently good. Fresh, flavorful food and attentive service. The baked clams and penne a la vodka are on point. My daughter loves their baked ziti. And the grandma pies are terrific. My family's favorite local Italian restaurant!”

How beautiful it was, decked out in snowflakes and sparkle and jewel-toned florals, but mostly about how absolutely freaking delicious it was. One friend told me it was the best wedding cake she’d EVER had. And that was all thanks to Joseph at NY Cupcakery! He made every step in the process incredibly easy and efficient, which is exactly what a stressed-out bride needs. Our stunning, decadent cake was the result of one brief phone call and a few text exchanges because Joseph knew exactly what to do when we told him what we wanted. He's a consummate professional and a true artist, and I wish I could eat my wedding cake literally every day. (My husband and his sweet tooth agree.) “My co workers and I used to order from this deli 4-5 times a week. They would constantly send the wrong order. Every time we called to inform them, the person answering the phone would be nasty, insisting we were lying. We’ve spent hundreds there. We stopped ordering from them up until yesterday. We decided to give them another shot. The delivery driver who dropped our order off, once again brought us the wrong order. We contacted them immediately. He than came back to bring us the right order and started harassing everyone. Yelling in front of people, demanding we give him more money ontop of what our order was. Demanded a tip. He was scaring everyone around him. He wouldn’t leave. We then handed him extra money so he would finally leave and he still refused.”
