“This place is great, they make amazing grilled cheese and breakfast sandwiches. I wish they had tomato soup to go with the grilled cheese, but hey, can't have everything. The cookies and sweets are to die for. Stop in, grab a cookie, have a sandwich. The staff are super awesome. They're closed on Mondays though. The rest of the week though, they open. Limited seating, so maybe do a grab and run. This local business is great. Stop in.“

“My husband and I got tons of wonderful compliments on our wedding in NYC on January 18, but the ones we heard most often were always about our cake. How beautiful it was, decked out in snowflakes and sparkle and jewel-toned florals, but mostly about how absolutely freaking delicious it was. One friend told me it was the best wedding cake she’d EVER had. And that was all thanks to Joseph at NY Cupcakery! He made every step in the process incredibly easy and efficient, which is exactly what a stressed-out bride needs. Our stunning, decadent cake was the result of one brief phone call and a few text exchanges because Joseph knew exactly what to do when we told him what we wanted. He's a consummate professional and a true artist, and I wish I could eat my wedding cake literally every day. (My husband and his sweet tooth agree.) “I stopped in to Emilia’s Bakehouse Café on Walt Whitman Rd in Melville yesterday (they have another location in E. Northport) and boy, was I glad I did! I entered into a well-lit shop filled with pastries, scones, cookies, brownies, croissants, breads and quiches, etc. and was greeted with enthusiasm and a smile by 2 attractive young ladies. It was a great vibe just being there, very stress relieving. The chocolate brownie is perfection in texture and taste! The scones and peanut butter coconut power bites are delicious! Their organic Colombian coffee is the bomb, and you can get it with your favorite milk - for me it’s Oat Planet oat milk. Stop in, it’ll make your day! A feast for the eyes and tastebuds :)“

“I had read great reviews about this bakery and ordered a birthday cake for a relative. All the reviews live up to the great things said and some. This was one of the best cakes I have had in years. So fresh, so well decorated and exactly as requested. I give my 100% plus recommendation to anyone looking for a bakery. It is worth traveling to. The donuts were awesome too just as advertised. They have the best bacon and egg sandwiches and their tuna and chicken salads are always a welcome sight back home. Their bagels are always fresh and flavorful no matter what variety I get. I've come to know the owner, Boris, and his staff, and they are always most helpful. Looking forward to my next trip to Merrick.“
