I stopped in to Emilia’s Bakehouse Café on Walt Whitman Rd in Melville yesterday (they have another location in E. Northport) and boy, was I glad I did! I entered into a well-lit shop filled with pastries, scones, cookies, brownies, croissants, breads and quiches, etc. and was greeted with enthusiasm and a smile by 2 attractive young ladies. All time favorite bakery!! Never ever disappoints. The coffee is the best I’ve had and not only is food delicious, but the staff are so pleasant, sweet, and patient!!! MUST TRY THE EMPANADAS!! (Specifically the spinach and cheddar)!!!

I don’t get to come here often but when I do, it is always such a delight. The bakery is clean and the staff always so kind and gracious. One of the few places you will find the sort of almond croissant you desire. Parking is small so careful with how you enter/exit. If you have not yet stopped into this bakery, it is small but mighty! Definitely recommend.
