My only wish is that you could get smaller portions of the regular cookies I didn't feel like shelling oit $20 for a pound while I was already trying all this other stuff. “Occasionally when I drop off my laundry I visit Duchess for a cookie. I would give Duchess a solid 3.5 stars. Sometimes the cookies taste a bit cold, even though they are kept under a light. The reviews about Duchess's cookies are accurate, as they are indeed quite big and have a slightly doughy texture. It seems like that's the intention behind them, and despite that, I still find the taste enjoyable. Out of all the cookies they offer, my absolute favorite is the Red Velvet White Chocolate Cheesecake Cookie. Additionally, I also enjoy their energy elixirs. I can't remember the exact one I had, but it had a purple color. Every cashier I have encountered has been extremely kind. If your map is taking you somewhere questionable, Le Pain Quotidien is located at the Roosevelt field mall right next to Neiman Marcus and Vince. There's plenty of parking during brunch time. If you're shopping, you can find them on the first floor near the entrance to the mall between those two stores. Le Pain Quotidien is beautiful inside and clean. There are plenty of seating and different tables to choose from. They have flowers on every table and I think that's quite lovely. You enter, seat yourself. If you're on the go, you can stand in line to order. The staff is very friendly. It can be busy. It took them quite some time to bring out our food. If you've never been there, I suggest taking a look at their menu beforehand. There were a lot of delicious choices so it took us a while to decide on what we want. We ordered the organic mini Dutch pancakes with berries to share, Chicken mozzarella melt tartine with avocado (extra charge), turkey bacon & avocado tartine with an organic egg (extra charge), and a toasted paris ham & Gruyère croissant. For drinks, we ordered apple juice, an americano, and an iced latte. Everything was delicious and full of flavor! I highly recommend the mini Dutch pancakes with berries. It was light and scrumptious! The dishes were quite big so I'm sure you can share. We didn't. We were too busy devouring it. We became very quiet when the food came out. I believe I was breathing in my food.. For those who are watching their calories, their calorie count is pretty low. I had a hard time looking for something that was over 500 calories.. That's why I added the extra side order of organic egg with my meal! I thought it was very helpful to see the calories on the menu next to the dish. It would've been nice if the macros would've been posted but I'm not complaining! I plan on coming here more often to try out the different menu items and to read. I'm not sure what the time limit is to stay there but I guess I'll find out and update this review!“

The old international cafe had a plethora of food, nothing that wow'd you BUT was consistently good even though they had a great variety. The freshly made waffles, variety of gelato and fresh whip cream needs no review. People who complain about noise should just stay home with their mask on. You are talking about an open place restaurant that is a staple of a community for decades. Why in 2024 are people so miserable to see others so happy. Place is jammed back...what do you expect it to sound like? People complaining about kids are the same $hit parents who rather hand their kid a iPad instead of letting them socialize. When we go there we expect it to be busy, loud, kids be kids, great food, great service and pay cash. With new owner ship comes many things and one them was the menu. We were thrown off since we were expecting our usual order. A lot of their items on the menu can be easily replicated at home. When we go out to eat we only order what we don't make for the most part. My wife ordered their Chicken Tenders which was made fresh as they were chicken cutlets cut down. I thought it was OK my wife was not happy bc the crispy bread outside came off the chicken itself. We also got wings and beer battered onion rings. Onion rings were great and wings are wings. We don't deep fry in the house for many reasons...we never ordered anything deep fried at the old spot either. Got their loaded potato skins which my wife enjoyed as well. Reviews about the new whip cream being OFF in taste is correct. Gelato tasted the same to us which was good. Price seemed fair for what we got compared to others places we have gone too. “Nice new location for Paris Baguette in Plainview Shopping Centre! Just what this area needed, another a pastry and cake shop as an option. Love PB cakes and pastries. Definitely spacious as one walks in to look and select pastries, cakes, sandwiches, drinks they wish to purchase and either dine in or take out. Cakes are nice and cream is light and not heavy. If you need a cake with writing, need to pre-order at least 2 days in advance for pickup. Mochi donuts are delicious and good to share, along with the pastries. They have seasonal specials and special promos for PB members who have signed up and use the app. PB reward members earn points with the app for every purchase so don't forget to scan. And if redeeming rewards, only one reward can be redeemed at a time.“

I am a tough critic of brownies and very particular abt them. This one HIT.THE.SPOT! I never forget a good brownie spot. I could do without that dabble of chocolate frosting on top that holds the mini chocolate chip cookie in place but the brookie itself....wow. I knew I had to snag the last piece on display. Perfect crunchy fresh tasting edge and the middle was the perfect consistency of gooeyness and had a rich chocolate bite!! I was disappointed in the rainbow cookie bar though because the cake portion was dry :T The rest of their display looks pretty awesome and peaked my interest to want to try more of their items. “I live in Florida and was recently talking to my brother how you can’t get good crumb cake here. Entenmans is garbage and he told me about Brooklyn delight. I placed an order for four crumb cakes cakes and 12 muffins. Needed to try the crumb cake, Could not wait until the morning.I will say I’m New York City born and raised and have gotten great product from local bakeries for many years while living up there. This crumb cake is the very best I have ever had, haven’t tried the muffins yet but I’m hoping they be as good. Can’t get a good corn muffin down here so I’ll keeping my fingers crossed. “Came here for a quick lunch during my break. After moving to Long Island it is quite difficult to find a Spanish restaurant. I found this restaurant on google. When I arrived, I was immediately greeted. There are some people behind the counter that speak English but they speak mostly Spanish. I do speak Spanish, but it was good to know that there are other people that can speak English, because I wanted to share this restaurant with my colleagues at work and they do not speak Spanish. Everyone was friendly, kind, and helpful. I ordered the special of the day which was caldo de res (beef soup)- there is an option to order it "Complete" which comes with rice topped with beef stew, macaroni salad, and plantain. I got a Colombiana soda to go with it and it was perfect!!! it was nice, clean, bright inside and the bakery is to die for. I didn't get to take pictures of the empanadas and pan de queso I bought, but it's a MUST have. I would love to try their cakes next time, it looked so good!! they have a whole pastry/bread section. Definitely recommend this place“
