“I was craving collard greens - and looking for a new place to try. I found Village BBQ on line and was impressed with the reviews so off I went. Randy the owner is not only the nicest guy but a fantastic chef! He and his wife run the business. I had his brisket (at his insistence!) Delicious! Sweet potatoes and collard greens. Customer next to me raved about the banana pudfing so I added that too. All 5 star!!! Very happy I took the chance on a place in a gas station!!”

“This was my first time here, and I came all the way from Rhode Island. The customer service from PJ was absolutely outstanding! He went above and beyond, stayed incredibly attentive, and handled multiple tasks at once without missing a beat. Even as a line started forming, he worked efficiently and kept everything moving smoothly while still providing excellent service. Employees like PJ make all the difference. “Only been here twice but so far so good. Beef lomein and pork fried rice both good. General tsos chicken was good too. Really liked the egg rolls. Service was friendly. Wish they had the wide crispy noodles but theirs were fine. Ask for the hot mustard in the cup.”

“The food was great no complaints at all but I ordered twice in person & twice online The service was good. While ordering online They stated there was no more shrimp rolls.. I was surprised but They gave me a egg roll for free with all of my orders. I don’t know if that was apart of the meal but I am thankful for that. “The staff and the food was amazing! My family and I went to celebrate my birthday. The host Mia and Elena was delightful and our server Minerva was gracious and accommodating. The manager Michael then gave us the birthday special which was the song and celebration along with a comped meal for me (with ID). Amazing!”

For a new establishment I guess I was expecting a bit more … maybe ask if we had been there before? Check back to see how our food was( it was outstanding), we got more help from the water girl Had to ask to clear table. Had to ask for check from the water girl? The server had much support. Seems she took our order and disappeared. But the server assistants were on point. Dinner was really good. We will go back… because of the food. Even the manager walked pasted us a dozen times. There were 6 tables.. perfect time for manager to mingle… just saying. Place is very nice, great menu too. Just left feeling ignored. Nice music too. Maybe the server was having a bad day? “AWESOME KOREAN RESTAURANT IN LONG ISLAND: I’m not a foodie and I don’t think I’ve ever posted about restaurants (but I am Korean) - I have to make an exception for this place. Yes, this restaurant is on Long Island, but the Korean food EXCELLENT (better than lots of places in Flushing) and service is OUTSTANDING. Every dish we’ve tried so far (짜장면, 순두부찌개, 육개장, 제육덮밥) has been so amazing, delicious, and authentic (especially the spices!!!). If you’re ever in the area, please stop in and eat here. It’s crazy awesome! Thanks to my friend for encouraging me to try at a Korean restaurant that is not in Queens. My family will be forever grateful - five stars and 2 thumbs way up from me and my family members. :)”
