“AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS BBQ! Sinfully scrumptious! Since I love ribs, my first time here I got both kinds - the pork baby backs and beef ribs, plus various sides - baked beans, mac n cheese, sweet potato fries and green beans. The huge beef rib was so flavorful and fall off the bone tender. Baby backs were coated in yummy BBQ sauce, tasty and not overly sweet. The owner/chef (Randy) is a very nice person, and my order was ready on time. The best!”
“My Hero is an old school spot with old school charm, and it's a forever CLASSIC! I've been coming here for quite some time, it's basically a Long Island institution, but last night we stopped by since it's been a hot second, and the sandwiches were just as iconic as ever. We shared their famous chicken club with melted provolone (you will love that twist), and the breaded chicken cutlets, lettuce, tomato, mayo, and bacon make this club the cult favorite that it is. (I'm all about the bacon for the crunchy, textural, flavorful contrast.) We also shared their Italian sub, aka The Champ, which is filled with Italian meats along with 'the works.' You guys, if you do anything, savor the WORKS. Their blend of shredded lettuce, tomato, onion, oil, vinegar, and oregano is absolutely everything. (I like letting it sit for a bit so the bread gets soggy from all the oil and vinegar goodness, too.) Honestly, I could see having a BLT with 'the works' and being one happy camper, but I digress...LOL. If anyone is looking for an authentic, high quality deli, look no further than My Hero in Merrick. They are a staple through and through.”
“This was the 2nd time I have ate here and each time was amazing. I recommend the chicken franchise it was one of the if not the best I have ever had. The chef even took the time to come out and ask us how are experience was. If you are anywhere in the area this is the place to go!! 1 thing is for certain we will be back again!!!”
“What a great deli. They have a ton of different type of sandwiches. I had a chicken salad sandwich. It was great. It was not drowning in mayonnaise. The people there were very friendly. It is on the way to the beach. The prices are great. Great place to get food before going to the beach.”
“I've had my share of Chinese food some good some bad and some in between. This place..... amazing!!! It starts with the polite and positive vibes you get when you call to place an order. Then you go there to pick it up (if you are not getting a delivery) and the place is immaculate. So clean and well kept and the atmosphere and energy is consistent with the phone call. They pay attention to detail, get your order right, and the outcome is a satisfied customer. After the first two times ordering food here I was afraid to go again. Thought they were definitely on course to mess something up. Nope, this place is the real deal!!!!”
“This is a take out place. Ot much seating. The food is excellent. Very fresh. And they have a dedicated vegan menu. I wish this place was bigger and I would have given it 5 stars.”
“I’m obsessed with the concept of this place! Diners are great and all, but sometimes they just get too overwhelming. I loved how at Diner Boys I could sit at a high top table, and enjoy what I think is way better than a regular diner meal. I had the Brooklyn’s Finest sandwich and it was so tasty. Also, the glass bottle Coke I had really added to the retro look and feel of my experience. The owner Nick convinced me to try some churros for dessert, and I was not disappointed. Will definitely be a regular customer!”
“Not bad at all. My first time eating here. I did go on a Friday, not sure if that makes a difference. Pork lo mein, Fried rice & $1 broccoli and boneless ribs with egg roll. $18”
“Staff is very polite, and remembers my order as soon as they see my face, that very reassuring that they pay close attention to customer service, not to Mention its clean and the food is good.”
“Food is excellent every time however the portion sizes are ridiculous. If you’re charging $17 for a bowl I expect more than half a spoon of rice. The workers behind the counter are almost always oblivious and are not usually friendly. It’s a shame since the food is so good and this can easily be a 5 star spot.”
“Nice small shop. There are many gelato options that I was able to sample. You can ask for more than one flavor in a cup. There are also pastries and drinks available.Parking: Street parking”
“The owner/founder is fantastic!I went with my brother in law and his hospitality was so warm and genuineLoved his vanilla iced latte! Similar to greek style frappe!”
“Went here for the first time on 2/10/24. Quaint little mom and pop spot with great food, and a wide menu. I had the Burro Loco, which is steak and fries in a burrito, the Birria Tacos (shown in pic), and the chicken quesadillas. They were all AMAZING! Service with a smile as well.Run, don't walk!!!”
““Pierogis for lunch?” “Yes, mam.” That’s a real interaction my wife and I had today. I thought she meant she’d heat some frozen PBoyz up but no, she wanted to go a pierogi specialty restaurant. I didn’t know how it would be but I ate there with her. It’s good! I got the pierogis and a kielbasa. Very good! Don’t go for the extra sour cream as you won’t need it. We’ll come back - and when we do, we’ll see you there I bet. Bc if you got this far, why wouldn’t you just drive over and check it out?”
“This is a must try for all those with a bit of a sweet tooth. Their cupcakes are soooo good. The owner is such a nice person, and you can taste the love put into the food. Thank you for your generosity and kind spirit.Friendly neighborhood amazon delivery driver ?”
“My third visit here and I continue to be impressed and amazed at this wonderful gem of a resto right here in Nassau county. Small and intimate with an amazing staff. Our lovely waitress Eimear was knowledgeable about all the food and paid very special attention to me and my niece- who was celebrating her birthday. Everything was delicious including the meticulously crafted cocktails. Can't wait to return !”
“The best rolled ice cream in town! Other than the Super delicious ice cream, it is clean, bright and the service is quick and polite. We drive over 20 min to get it and every time it’s so worth it!”
“I wanted to know if this would live up to it's high rating so decided to give it a try. I went on a Wednesday at 11:30am. There is parking across the street, behind the building. It's municipal 1 hour free parking. There is metered 2 hour parking in the front. While we were there, we were the only dine in customers. They were doing a lot of take out. We had the dumplings and the ramen. There was a lot of ramen. The pork was tender and juicy. The egg was creamy and not at all salty. The broth was the star. It was flavorful but not salty. It had depth. I could do with less oil but that's a tiny complaint. It lived up to the hype.Parking: Free one hour parking across the street. Metered two hour parking in the street.Wheelchair accessibility: Tight but doable.”
“Great little brewery tucked in the back of a shop. Had some great beers and a huge selection. I just went, and there were like 18 different beers. No food there, but you can bring your own. Fun times and good beer.”
“This place is the best. Best tender meat and great flavor. chicken barg and beef barg are great. The rest of the meat types are also good. The white sauce and green sauce are top notch. This is my favorite restaurant in the US.”
“Food is soooo good. Staff are all very sweet especially Sarah H. She made sure that we were well taken care of. It was such a cute place. ?would highly recommend ?.”
“Only stopped in for a single round before heading to dinner, but I definitely want to come back and sample more of the menu. I love trying new and unique beers, and my wife is more of a cider and mead person. We've never seen a place that provided both and made them, too! We came in and were able to grab the last free table, though there were still seats available at the bar. This place is very small, so I imagine later in the night it would get pretty crowded. For reference we arrived shortly after 5 PM on a Saturday. I got the blonde ale, which was very good, and my wife got one of the meads. A quick round later, we were off.”
“This is my new favorite spot!! We ordered a bunch of dishes to try as many different flavors as we could. Everything was so nicely prepared and very flavorful! We absolutely love the ambience and the decor is such a nice touch.”
“our family was there on 5 March. we had the party room. the place is very pleasant. However, the food and especially the service was outstanding. the two young people who waited on us were beyond reproach. Thanks you Voodoo Crab!Parking: there is street parking available, and there is a municipal lot behind the property.Kid-friendliness: my daughter had a Shiley Temple in the same pouch the grown ups had their drinks. she really enjoyed that small detail.”
“Birthday dinner for my husband! Our first time dining here! Amanda, our server was outstanding! She gave recommendations that were superb. We ordered from the Lenten menu the shrimp pappardelle and the scallop risotto. Both dishes were delicious and plentiful. Service was on point, friendly and professional. Sam, a manager, greeted us at the table to make sure we had everything we needed. Birthday dessert was on the house and delicious. I would highly recommend The Harrison!”
“Our daily dose of bubble Tea!!!! Literally!!! They make the most beautiful delicious drinks. The most friendliest and caring owners you’ll ever meet, they go above and beyond. This is our favorite go to from now on. With Love the Derm Girls :)”
“Love this place! Our favorite seafood place for the past 34 years!Parking: The parking stinks always has. Valet is okay, didn't use. They were busy. We had to park across Wantagh Avenue, in front of residential property.”
“Seasons 52 is an absolute culinary delight, embodying the essence of fine dining with a refreshing twist. With its impeccable cuisine, commitment to freshness, and outstanding service, dining here is a culinary journey you'll want to embark on again and again.”
“This Sunday afternoon was my first time there and it was almost my last because the man who seated us was cold, unfriendly, unwelcoming, and even went so far as to make a rude comment while seating us. Thank Goodness for Clay our server. I will return so long as I am seated in his section. He was immediately friendly…he was extremely knowledgeable about the food & assisted myself and my guest with cooking our different meats. He was positive and upbeat despite his back injury and a job where he is on his feet all day. As I ate my food, I observed Clay giving the exact same level of exceptional service to each of his tables. I am impressed by his enthusiasm and I hope that his employers recognize his hard work, his attitude, as well as his warm & welcoming nature. Perhaps you could have Clay coach the other servers on your staff about customer service and overall basic human decency.”
“The food was delicious. Food is cooked when ordered which guarantees fresh seafood. They also have more than just seafood. Something for everyone in the family. Options are endless and delicious.”
