My Hero, has been here forever, a staple of my highschool days.And they haven't missed a beat. This place rocks. Good food, friendly staff and now, better parking! That was the only downside, but it's fixed!Cash only, that's the only thing you have to know before coming

My Hero is an old school spot with old school charm, and it's a forever CLASSIC! I've been coming here for quite some time, it's basically a Long Island institution, but last night we stopped by since it's been a hot second, and the sandwiches were just as iconic as ever. My favorite deli when I'm in town.You haven't had a hero until you've had a my hero hero. They're bread is my favorite hero bread anywhere and everywhere! This place is a no frills place. They seem like a old hole in a wall place, but it's part of their charm. Their menu is small but big on quality. The chicken club is the best on the island, hands down!
