Seems she took our order and disappeared. But the server assistants were on point. Dinner was really good. We will go back… because of the food. Even the manager walked pasted us a dozen times. There were 6 tables.. perfect time for manager to mingle… just saying. Place is very nice, great menu too. Just left feeling ignored. Nice music too. Maybe the server was having a bad day? “The place is very well put together. the food was very good and the service was great. we stopped in for a quick drink and stayed over an hour and had lunch.“

“First time dining here and overall a really solid experience. The food was enjoyable — the lemon orzo soup was comforting, the lamb gyro taco had great flavor, and the chicken kebab skewers was cooked well. Drinks were a standout, especially the dirty raspberry martini, which was excellent.

The vibe is casual and relaxed. There were a couple small service hiccups, but nothing that took away from the meal. Overall, we enjoyed it and would definitely come back again.“

“We came here on a thurs even around 6pm...Was pretty crowded but got a table in the middle..The sound level is pretty high at 3/4 capacity but somehow you seem to flow with it because of the atmosphere... People enjoying good mex food are more enjoyable to be around for some reason..anyway...lighting as with most place is difficult to read menu but once the order was in,alot of fun...I noticed the food to be very FRESH...I immediately tasted that in the beans on my Mexican special and the Flautas,chimichanga etc were all delicious stuffed and perfectly cooked!..Fajita steak was so nicely marinated and charred but med inside..Perfect!..Wait staff were all very pleasant....I enjoyed my visit and will defin visit during a slow day,maybe lunch for a lil more quiet....“

“Have ordered many times from Ole’s. The food is delicious and service friendly and warm. Today, decided to eat in so we could try the nachos crispy and warm in the store. They were amazing!!! The other items were also great, my kids loved all of it. At the end, we had a chance to meet one of the owners, Manny. He was very friendly and warm, chatted with my boys and then surprised them with a warm churro. Needless to say, we’ll be coming back even more frequently now. Yum yum yum.“

“The restaurant food is really great, we had the shrimp ceviche , tortilla soup, wagu steak, rib eye tacos, kids had burger and chicken fingers. Flavours were delicious, very unique and the food was fresh and tasty f good quality . Service was great Brian was super friendly . The resto acoustics are a little loud but we moved into front part which was better . They even have a waterfront patio !“

The tamale was perfectly moist and savory, and the taco Pescadero was fresh and perfectly seasoned. We also devoured the steak quesadilla, which was cheesy and full of tender steak. Don't even get me started on the empanadas—both the chili empanada and the chicken and cheese empanada were phenomenal. We can't wait to go back and try more!“

“One thing I miss about living in Long Island are the Tex-Mex restaurants. Yes, they're not of the highest quality, and usually they're in a cheap location, and the horrible customer service is always a given, but I do enjoy the food every once in a while.

After searching for a Tex-Mex restaurant, I stumbled across Taco King. This location is actually pretty big with plenty of sitting space. My usual go-to dish at a Tex-Mex place is the Grilled Steak rice platter, so I decided to stick with what I like. I thought the steak here was excellent. It came with one flour tortilla, rice, beans, salad, guac, and chili. The quality and proportion was better than what I expected.

However, it was crazy expensive. I know I sound old, but I remember that only a few years ago, the same dish was about $8 or $9. Now it's over $17! I would gladly eat here more often if the price was cheaper.“

This is the only Mexican chain restaurant that I will go to. The other one's portions are disrespectfully small.

On top of that, the establishment was very clean.I have passed by this place many times and never stopped, even though their around the corner from where I live . I could not decide between honey chipotle chicken and grilled chicken., so Parang gave me a sample of each to try. I ended up getting both on my chicken nachos, which was so flavorful and tasty.. “My wife and I enjoyed Cinco de Mayo with dinner at Margaritas Cafe in Merrick. First, our server was one of the best we seen. Patient, not pushy and doing almost every job in a restaurant all with a smile on her face!!
