“Delicious food!This is my fourth time going to the restaurant, I’ve always been greeted with a friendly smile and a hello.I ordered tacos al pastor, and i was amazed to see that they make the tortillas fresh in-house & not store bought ☺️I also had a torta al pastor and it was delicious and fresh. Over this beats any other taco place on long island, so much closer than queens when your craving some tacos and torta :)“
“The staff and owners are amazing! Definitely a great spot to pick up great tasting food. So far they haven't disappointed at all. Tried their birria, el pastor, chorizo and pulled pork tacos.. love them all. Will be going back for more to satisfy the cravings of delicious food.“

“I had the Chicken & shrimp tostada loaded with refried beans, Lettuce, crema, tomatoes, avocados, grated cheese, radishes & tomatoes.... chicken was seasoned well but a bit dry, shrimp perfectly cooked and seasoned perfectly. For 10 dollars i got an authentic tasteful fulfilling meal :-)“

They might be open late...But they'll likely be out of several products, including the golden jewel GUACAMOLE!I imagine they wanted to clean things early, so soda machines are off, napkin holders are empty, you are not allowed to sit at the tables, only the benches.Enjoyed the food, but if you don't want us walking in at 930PM, then don't be open!We took our food home instead. A little bitter experience I might say.“
“Shared 4 assorted tacos (fish, lengua, birria & carnitas) with my wife for snack, craved for more. I don’t usually get Lengua (tongue) because of funky after taste from previous experience. At Mala Madre, lengua was so tender, butter and beefy. Will definitely come back for more.“

“I was here last night around 8:30pm for the first time and my experience was 10 out of 10. I had the guava coconut margarita on the rocks and it was what I needed after working a 12 hour shift. I'll definitely be returning not because of the great food but because of how kind and pleasant the staff was!!!!!“
“Been here a couple of times, and each time the food and the service has been amazing! Has definitely become one of my favourite spots for Mexican food in all of Long Island. I can’t wait to keep trying different items on the menu until I’ve tried everything they have to offer. This place is great in every aspect, and worth every penny! The photos are from the last time I went with my boyfriend, we got the birria tacos and el burrito chingon. Portion sizes were perfect!“
