“The Italian is excellent, the Mexican is just alright. It's clear upon walking in that the Mexican is secondary. But the pizza is so good that I still feel they deserve 5 stars for it. Besides being delicious, the pizzas have finely-diced toppings which are much nicer to bite into than the giant toppings you'll almost always see elsewhere. The garlic knots are also super garlicky and great. For the Mexican, the empanadas were quite plain and the burritos were much more akin to wraps. I won't be trying anything from the Mexican menu again (though who knows, maybe there's something good I'm missing out on), but I want to try all of their pizza!“

Taco Hut in Baldwin scratches that itch. The quesadillas, chicken & rice combo, and chicken fajita with cheese all hit. Nothing fancy but totally satisfying.

“I pickup using the app and go through the drive. Even if they're really busy; they are efficient and always have good attitudes! Aswell as smooth hasty solutions if there are any issues any time of day. Definitely my favorite location hands down! Should have written a review much sooner! Thank you !“

For a new establishment I guess I was expecting a bit more … maybe ask if we had been there before? Check back to see how our food was( it was outstanding), we got more help from the water girl Had to ask to clear table. Had to ask for check from the water girl? The server had much support. Seems she took our order and disappeared. But the server assistants were on point. Dinner was really good. We will go back… because of the food. Even the manager walked pasted us a dozen times. There were 6 tables.. perfect time for manager to mingle… just saying. Place is very nice, great menu too. Just left feeling ignored. Nice music too. Maybe the server was having a bad day? “We came here on a thurs even around 6pm...Was pretty crowded but got a table in the middle..The sound level is pretty high at 3/4 capacity but somehow you seem to flow with it because of the atmosphere... People enjoying good mex food are more enjoyable to be around for some reason..anyway...lighting as with most place is difficult to read menu but once the order was in,alot of fun...I noticed the food to be very FRESH...I immediately tasted that in the beans on my Mexican special and the Flautas,chimichanga etc were all delicious stuffed and perfectly cooked!..Fajita steak was so nicely marinated and charred but med inside..Perfect!..Wait staff were all very pleasant....I enjoyed my visit and will defin visit during a slow day,maybe lunch for a lil more quiet....“

“My mom has been purchasing their Rosca de Reyes since 1997 when we lived in Brooklyn. Now she goes to the one in the city. They are delicious and well made. Just perfect! My children love it as well as all my family. They are by far the best ones in town.“

“Would highly recommend coming to try the Happy Hour menu and Taco Tuesday tacos/margaritas and sit outside to enjoy the beautiful view of the water. There was a bit of miscommunication about the Happy Hour specials on Fridays (no longer available on Fridays but are on other weekdays), as others have mentioned, but Wilmer was responsive over email and generously resolved the issue, which we appreciated. The outdoor bartender Matt, was friendly, kind, and super helpful - he made the visit 5 stars for us. Raw Oysters and the shrimp taco were both good. The birria taco (sauce quite spicy), ribeye taco, and corn ribs were excellent. Chips and salsa were great too. The menu has a lot of creative options and we look forward to trying more items.

The tamale was perfectly moist and savory, and the taco Pescadero was fresh and perfectly seasoned. We also devoured the steak quesadilla, which was cheesy and full of tender steak. Don't even get me started on the empanadas—both the chili empanada and the chicken and cheese empanada were phenomenal. We can't wait to go back and try more!“

“Me and my girlfriend loves going to this place for date night!!! the spot is so beautiful with the mexican culture artwork, the party lights, and even have a dj that plays excellent spanish music. the food is is A1… and when i say that anything you order is a safe bet! I MEAN IT!!! The drinks too are the bomb and they don’t skimp out on the feel good drinks if you know what i mean. Carlos is usually our waiter when we come and he makes sure to take care of us! LOVE THIS PLACE“

“We had a great experience at El Mercadito! The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented with vibrant colors. Our server was very attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome throughout our visit.

The portion sizes were excellent, giving great value for the price. Everything we ordered was full of flavor, and we would definitely come back again. Highly recommend El Mercadito if you’re looking for amazing food and outstanding service!

“One thing I miss about living in Long Island are the Tex-Mex restaurants. Yes, they're not of the highest quality, and usually they're in a cheap location, and the horrible customer service is always a given, but I do enjoy the food every once in a while.

After searching for a Tex-Mex restaurant, I stumbled across Taco King. This location is actually pretty big with plenty of sitting space. My usual go-to dish at a Tex-Mex place is the Grilled Steak rice platter, so I decided to stick with what I like. I thought the steak here was excellent. It came with one flour tortilla, rice, beans, salad, guac, and chili. The quality and proportion was better than what I expected.

However, it was crazy expensive. I know I sound old, but I remember that only a few years ago, the same dish was about $8 or $9. Now it's over $17! I would gladly eat here more often if the price was cheaper.“

They treat you with respect and dignity. When you order triple chicken, they give you triple. They do not scrimp.

This is the only Mexican chain restaurant that I will go to. The other one's portions are disrespectfully small.
