This is my first Yelp review ever but this modest little restaurant deserves it. Not only is the food surprisingly delicious but the owners and staff are warm, welcoming and generous. They always offer something while waiting for take out and when eating in they take the time to talk to you and make you feel part of things. Came here for dinner last night and was thrown off at first because there was no other customers. My husband and I decided to stay anyway. Im so glad we did. The food was delicious. They gave us fresh chips and guacamole to start. The chips were so good. Since we were the only ones there the service was quick and effecient. My husband ordered the pork and pineapple sandwich. Pleased with my first visit here! Passed by this spot multiple times and finally decided to give it a try for take out one day. We ordered steak & al pastor tacos. Both were great, but I personally loved the pastor tacos! They also have homemade drinks like horchata and tamarind. The owner saw I was contemplating between the drinks and he gave me a drink on the house to try out.
