6 Best Mexican Restaurants near Freeport

“Would highly recommend coming to try the Happy Hour menu and Taco Tuesday tacos/margaritas and sit outside to enjoy the beautiful view of the water. There was a bit of miscommunication about the Happy Hour specials on Fridays (no longer available on Fridays but are on other weekdays), as others have mentioned, but Wilmer was responsive over email and generously resolved the issue, which we appreciated. The outdoor bartender Matt, was friendly, kind, and super helpful - he made the visit 5 stars for us. Raw Oysters and the shrimp taco were both good. The birria taco (sauce quite spicy), ribeye taco, and corn ribs were excellent. Chips and salsa were great too. The menu has a lot of creative options and we look forward to trying more items.

“Garibaldi's is our favorite restaurant in Apopka. The fajitas for 2 is awesome and it comes with steak, chicken, carnitas and shrimp. The meats are well seasoned and the serving size was just right for me and my wife. Great atmosphere and the service has always been good. Did I mentioned the drinks are very good too?“

“This is now my mid-week highlight, loved Live Music Wednesday! All the staff members were welcoming and accommodating....the facilities were clean, drinks were good and there was bar food available that night. Derrick Barnett and The Statement Band were high energy as usual. The owner is a dynamic performer too!

“Fresh and delicious food (big portions). Super clean and welcoming environment....love thr splash yellow tiles. Only complaint...no English menus and a staff that didn't speak English. Got tacos and quesadilla, both served with fresh side salads andcfrsh avocado and lime! Yumm“
