“We came here on a thurs even around 6pm...Was pretty crowded but got a table in the middle..The sound level is pretty high at 3/4 capacity but somehow you seem to flow with it because of the atmosphere... People enjoying good mex food are more enjoyable to be around for some reason..anyway...lighting as with most place is difficult to read menu but once the order was in,alot of fun...I noticed the food to be very FRESH...I immediately tasted that in the beans on my Mexican special and the Flautas,chimichanga etc were all delicious stuffed and perfectly cooked!..Fajita steak was so nicely marinated and charred but med inside..Perfect!..Wait staff were all very pleasant....I enjoyed my visit and will defin visit during a slow day,maybe lunch for a lil more quiet....“

“Outstanding meal. We ordered the El Sol Parrillada for 2. Had skirt steak, pork chop, chicken, shrimps & chorizo with rice, beans, pico de gallo that was incredibly delicious. Each meat was individually seasoned to its perfection. Finished our dinner with a Tres Leche Cake so moist and delicious. A very friendly atmosphere. This was a great find, Added to our favorite place to eat in LI. Coming back soon.“

“Food is almost always right and it’s pretty good, but it gets VERY busy late at night. The service is pretty much always exceptional, we had an extremely nice young man tonight (9/17 @ midnight) who apologized for the wait I hope he and the others are fairly compensated for their hard work at these late hours. This is the only fast food place I can eat so I appreciate yall!“

“Very nice inviting decor. Service was just ok. The server was basic, didn’t tell us it was happy hour? Nor did she mention and food selections. For a new establishment I guess I was expecting a bit more … maybe ask if we had been there before? Check back to see how our food was( it was outstanding), we got more help from the water girl Had to ask to clear table. Had to ask for check from the water girl? The server had much support. Seems she took our order and disappeared. But the server assistants were on point. Dinner was really good. We will go back… because of the food. Even the manager walked pasted us a dozen times. There were 6 tables.. perfect time for manager to mingle… just saying. Place is very nice, great menu too. Just left feeling ignored. Nice music too. Maybe the server was having a bad day? Like I said we will go again !!! Great food.“

“Very delicious food. I work in East New York, and I saw many truck drivers, workers stopping at lunchtime. I went to the restaurant, the vibe is so cool, and the tacos I ordered had different and good flavors. Fresh food, tasty, and good customer service.“

Everything was delicious! We were so happy that Kallie came to the table. The atmosphere is sort of rustic. This is a MUST TRY restaurant . You will not be disappointed.“

“My mom has been purchasing their Rosca de Reyes since 1997 when we lived in Brooklyn. Now she goes to the one in the city. They are delicious and well made. Just perfect! My children love it as well as all my family. They are by far the best ones in town.“
