“We were looking for a place to stop for tacos on way home . What a pleasant surprise we found this restaurant we wound up eating at restaurant. They couldn't have been nicer and the food was fresh and delicious. We both had burrito's and salad.
And cheesecake for desert They gave us tortilla chips for table that were delicious everything was great. We will definitely be back“

“There is a reason this spot (along with other location) is regarded as one of the best Mexican restaurants in Long Island! Id say you're more likely to take out then dine-in. I go about once a week (on Taco Tuesday) and get a Carnitas Burrito lol. It's large, delicious, and everything I need in a burrito since moving out to Long Island from the city. Fortunately for me El Paso Taco is a 5min drive down the road 🤤“

For a new establishment I guess I was expecting a bit more … maybe ask if we had been there before? “We came here on a thurs even around 6pm...Was pretty crowded but got a table in the middle..The sound level is pretty high at 3/4 capacity but somehow you seem to flow with it because of the atmosphere... People enjoying good mex food are more enjoyable to be around for some reason..anyway...lighting as with most place is difficult to read menu but once the order was in,alot of fun...I noticed the food to be very FRESH...I immediately tasted that in the beans on my Mexican special and the Flautas,chimichanga etc were all delicious stuffed and perfectly cooked!..Fajita steak was so nicely marinated and charred but med inside..Perfect!..Wait staff were all very pleasant....I enjoyed my visit and will defin visit during a slow day,maybe lunch for a lil more quiet....“

“Have ordered many times from Ole’s. The food is delicious and service friendly and warm. Today, decided to eat in so we could try the nachos crispy and warm in the store. They were amazing!!! The other items were also great, my kids loved all of it. At the end, we had a chance to meet one of the owners, Manny. He was very friendly and warm, chatted with my boys and then surprised them with a warm churro. Needless to say, we’ll be coming back even more frequently now. Yum yum yum.“

“I go to this restaurant twice a month with my friend usually around 11 AM and get breakfast. Imagine how shocked I was Find out breakfast was no longer available during the week? The restaurant has changed names and menus, but to take breakfast completely off the table during the week I find it outrageous we’ve been going here for years now we have to find a new place. Even if they offered a couple of choices fruit, eggs or brunch special it would have been nice.My friend and I are so disappointed.☹️

I specifically said you don’t offer breakfast during the week that’s Monday through Friday, no breakfast, that’s five days out of seven you don’t offer breakfast. Having 1 thing does not considered you having a breakfast menu. It ok though it’s Deer Park theres millions of places that have food especially breakfast we will just move on. I gave you two stars because we have to move on because of you.

Parking: I park in handicapped and it’s right in front of the front door. It’s very convenient“

“Island Grill is a 10/10 spot!! There are a few seats at a wall counter but other than that you come here to pick up your food and eat elsewhere. The prices are fantastic and the portions are great as well! The quesadillas are small sized and priced accordingly, you can get one for $3! This is a great place to come for a cheap lunch or to order large portions for a big group dinner. I do both often. You absolutely have to try their bourbon chicken, you will not be disappointed!

“Easily one of the best mini restaurants in town. Sitting in an old family building built some generations back(possibly as early as the 1930's?) this family owned mexican restaurant preserves the small town eatery atmosphere and charm you just don't see anywhere else in Hicksville anymore. The owners are also some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. They even occasionally attend the Hicksville Gregory Museum's summer markets from time to time where I discovered how legendary their food is. I strongly recommend this place! Freshest ingredients!“

They have that soda machine with so many options, it’s self serve, free refills, they also have juice for the non soda options. I got the strawberry lemonade and I am obsessed.
