Found this little place today and what a great surprise it was so close to home…steak birria tacos. Ommmmmg, if you never had this kind of taco or just haven’t had one recently, go get you some. I promise you, you will be licking your fingers and coming back. Yes, a little pricey, but you get a big portion (3 thick, stuffed tacos) and on the side, its special seasoned dipping sauce, green tomato sauce, and hot sauce. I usually only leave good reviews for places but this place is ridiculous... Food was too salty the first time I went and was seasoned oddly (I got mixed tacos). I went this time and got mixed tacos again (beef/pork/chicken) and it wasn't as salty but flavors were soooo off AGAIN. All meats were dry and there was a LOT of fat on the pork - not the fat you want, the bad pieces. I have ordered from here several times. There birria tacos and Colombian empanadas are my favorite. However, on 04/20 I ordered birria tacos, Colombian empanadas and horchata and while eating my empanada I bit into a rubber band. I was very hesitant to write this because I love the restaurant and I know people may discredit this review because what are the odds of a rubber band being in your food? But it was there and I was shocked. I truly do not know how that could’ve happened.
