Even though I have to travel from 5 towns over, I will do it time and again because I LOVE everything about Mama's. Their Chicken a la Mama, as well as their Granma Vodka pizza brings me to my knees without fail. I'm a bit picky (like extra lemon butter sauce and garlic knots please) but the staff always gets it right. Been coming to Mamas for years and it’s always been a favorite.. had my baby shower here today!! It was perfection from start to finish.. service and menu excellent.. bartender on point too. Everyone loved the food!!! The whole party ended up lingering for quite a while and they let us, never once did we feel rushed to leave. Thanks for the baby shower of my dreams! Special shoutout to Adam, Greg and Nora! 🍝🍝
Mama's is a very large Italian restaurant in the Copiague area. The portions are very large and has a very large menu, with nearly every type of dish to order. The food is pretty good, but the service does lack. Overall, I would try it at least once.

Based on the reviews, Mama's of Copiague serves some of the best Italian food on the island with great service. The food is absolutely delicious, fresh, and made on premises. Even something simple as spaghetti and meatballs is close to homemade as you can get. The sauce is fantastic, slow cooked with San Marzano tomatoes. The vodka sauce is delicious too. Portions are huge, and even their slices seem bigger. The bread, the chopped salad, the chicken guisipee, shrimp oreganata, penne vodka, and chicken parmesan are all outstanding. The food is delivered with care and everything is fresh, hot, and delicious. The staff is so kind, professional, and communicative. Specific staff members are described as friendly, accommodating, caring, assertive, professional, polite, and informative. The level of customer service is hard to find these days. Mama’s helped make a special occasion even more memorable. It is a great spot for takeout and also has plenty of tables and booths to dine-in. Guests will be satisfied and full.
