Even though I have to travel from 5 towns over, I will do it time and again because I LOVE everything about Mama's. Their Chicken a la Mama, as well as their Granma Vodka pizza brings me to my knees without fail. I'm a bit picky (like extra lemon butter sauce and garlic knots please) but the staff always gets it right. This was my first visit to the restaurant, the portion,s are huge and delicious. 5 stars to our server Christine, will definitely be coming back. Went back about 100 times since just as awesome. Portions still huge, I get 3 meals out of it, there dinner rolls man r they out of this world. Go there you won't be sorry.
Food is good. Quality of food is good! It is a restaurant but not designed for children/babies because it’s pretty cooped up and they have chairs lined up by the bathroom which makes it difficult to pass. I also got ignored when trying to order a couple of times.

Based on the reviews, Mama's of Copiague serves some of the best Italian food on the island with great service. The food is absolutely delicious, fresh, and made on premises. Even something simple as spaghetti and meatballs is close to homemade as you can get. The sauce is fantastic, slow cooked with San Marzano tomatoes. The vodka sauce is delicious too. Portions are huge, and even their slices seem bigger. The bread, the chopped salad, the chicken guisipee, shrimp oreganata, penne vodka, and chicken parmesan are all outstanding. The food is delivered with care and everything is fresh, hot, and delicious. The staff is so kind, professional, and communicative. Specific staff members are described as friendly, accommodating, caring, assertive, professional, polite, and informative. The level of customer service is hard to find these days. Mama’s helped make a special occasion even more memorable. It is a great spot for takeout and also has plenty of tables and booths to dine-in. Guests will be satisfied and full.
