“Wifey and I went for takeout. The guys behind the counter were all cool. Friendly. Place clean. (That’s VERY important to me) I got 3 beef tacos and a chicken quesadilla. Wifey got a bowl. Everything was excellent. Very fresh. Nothing soggy. The taco shells surprised me how good they were. Crispy & flavorful. Bye bye Bang Bang, bye bye Bell. I’ll be back to Limon for sure. Highly recommend.“

“Taco Bell has lines all the way out to the street it takes such a long time to get your order they know the place is going to be busy but still they don't put enough staff inside the building have to say belkig the cashier was very friendly and professional and kept her head when the line was all the way out to the street I can't believe Taco Bell knowing this issues of fast service industry they don't have more people they can sell twice as much they're being Pennywise in dollar foolish“

I ordered a steak taco and a shrimp taco. I paid with cash because using a credit card cost a little more. I'm so glad I stopped by—the tacos were delicious! It was definitely worth the drive. The place was packed, but the service was quick, and the staff was very friendly. They have a seating area even though it's a food truck, and the food was fresh and full of flavor. “Literally the greatest food I’ve ever eaten, ever. Full stop. I’ve been a loyal customer since high school, and through college, living overseas and living out of state, Gold Mine is a must visit whenever I’m in town. If I were about to be executed, my last meal would be: Cajun chicken quesadilla, chips with melted cheddar, lemon chip sauce, and Dave’s pico de gallo. A little guac and sour cream on the side but honestly the pico and lemon chip are more important. The food is SO good that guac is an afterthought. Usually guac is the first thing people consider when having Mexican. My biggest fear is that Dave will retire. I wish he’d write a cookbook. My only “complaint,” if you can call it that, is that it’s primarily a takeout joint, although there are tables and you’re totally welcome to sit there and eat. I’m a sucker for ambience and I’d happily pay top dollar for waitstaff and charm out the wazoo so I can sit there with friends and have a full dining experience. Regardless, none of this changes the fact that it’s the best food in the galaxy.“
