“Best mexican grill on long island. Food is delicious, prices are fair, portions are perfect and staff is fast and pleasant. If you're craving filling and satisfying mexican food don't even THINK about going anywhere else. I heard about it from a friend and I just got my family hooked on it too, my siblings are going with their partners later this week to introduce it to them too.“

“Taco Bell has lines all the way out to the street it takes such a long time to get your order they know the place is going to be busy but still they don't put enough staff inside the building have to say belkig the cashier was very friendly and professional and kept her head when the line was all the way out to the street I can't believe Taco Bell knowing this issues of fast service industry they don't have more people they can sell twice as much they're being Pennywise in dollar foolish“

“Was in with my daughter for dinner and just wanted to say we had the BEST experience! First time dining at Rocco’s Tacos and couldn’t have had a better experience. Our server, Erica, was phenomenal! Service and food was outstanding! LOVED the guacamole she made and she was sweet as can be and we took her advice on everything to order - her recommendations were great and we left full and very happy! “Me my daughter and my granddaughter went there for Sunday Brunch. Billy was our server. He was great, funny, and very efficient. The food was so good that I could not stop eating. Everything was delicious! We were so happy that Kallie came to the table. The atmosphere is sort of rustic. This is a MUST TRY restaurant . You will not be disappointed.“

“It was 9:00 p.m. and all of a sudden I was craving tacos, but I didn't want to go to Taco Bell. I searched for a place on Google, and this spot came up, so I decided to give it a try.

I ordered a steak taco and a shrimp taco. I paid with cash because using a credit card cost a little more. I'm so glad I stopped by—the tacos were delicious! It was definitely worth the drive. The place was packed, but the service was quick, and the staff was very friendly. They have a seating area even though it's a food truck, and the food was fresh and full of flavor. The prices were reasonable too. I'll definitely be coming back often. Highly recommend if you're craving great tacos!“

“the food was good, but they need a better air filter system the smell of burning isn't appealing while you eat. the place was clean, the servers were great. it was just another version of taco bell mixed with chipotle. but this is just my VYI's keeping it real view,we enjoyed the bowls, plenty of food in each. we will go back next month to try their salad.“

“tonight, 6/6/26,we went for dinner at Mesita in Amityville, NY, Everything was perfect for a great dining experience. We were greeted by friendly smiling faces at the door and shown to our table straight away. We were then met by our waitress Myra, who promptly showed us a list of specials and a drink list.I had a glass of their red Sangria and my wife had one of the custom drinks, both excellent, Our meals came, both huge and more than enough for 2 meals for each of us, and I will say both meals were awesome.Please visit this awesome establishment that brings you back in time to a very authentic Mexican experience, you wont be sorry“

“It’s a small local place for a quick Mexican - no table service, just order at counter and use the table/seating to eat on your own. Not much for ambiance but great for takeouts. Food is fresh and good and reasonable. They have self serve sauces from mild to hot. Horchata is great.“

“Literally the greatest food I’ve ever eaten, ever. Full stop. I’ve been a loyal customer since high school, and through college, living overseas and living out of state, Gold Mine is a must visit whenever I’m in town. If I were about to be executed, my last meal would be: Cajun chicken quesadilla, chips with melted cheddar, lemon chip sauce, and Dave’s pico de gallo. A little guac and sour cream on the side but honestly the pico and lemon chip are more important. The food is SO good that guac is an afterthought. Usually guac is the first thing people consider when having Mexican. My biggest fear is that Dave will retire. I wish he’d write a cookbook. My only “complaint,” if you can call it that, is that it’s primarily a takeout joint, although there are tables and you’re totally welcome to sit there and eat. I’m a sucker for ambience and I’d happily pay top dollar for waitstaff and charm out the wazoo so I can sit there with friends and have a full dining experience. Regardless, none of this changes the fact that it’s the best food in the galaxy.“

Try the burbon chicken with anything. It’s not a dine in place, so just take out and I promise you will be back. Food is affordable and I highly recommend their taco salad that’s served in a crunchy bowl…. Or their nachos!“

My boyfriend is from California and he’s pretty picky about Mexican food, but he says this is the closest he’s had to back home. That alone says a lot.

“The chef Francisco is a fine chef and his food tastes great. I have eaten here about 5xs already and he never disappoints. I highly recommend the tacos 🌮. I have also eaten the skirt steak which was delicious. He has a very nice presentation on all dishes. They also have fresh baked breads and the waitresses are all very nice and friendly. The dining area is nice and there is music playing and sometimes live entertainment. I want to try every dish on the menu. The restaurant has the potential to be a real gold mine because the food is definitely on point.“
