“I stopped by here last week and was surprised at how empty it was when I arrived. It’s hard to say if that was because they were nearing closing time or if it’s just a quieter spot during the week.

I ordered the shrimp burrito, and it hit the spot. I wasn’t expecting them to be so generous with the shrimp, but they really packed it in and I appreciated that. It was filling.

One thing that did catch me off guard was the price of guacamole. When I asked to add some, they told me it would be an extra five dollars. Personally, I think that’s a bit excessive, so I ended up asking them to leave it off.

On the upside, I noticed they’re open later during the week than a lot of other restaurants in the area, which is definitely convenient if you’re grabbing a bite later in the evening.“

Changing up potatoes for plantains , those pickled onions and a litle cheese this is the place to come if youre someone who didnt grow up eating this type of authentic food

“One of my favorite place to grab lunch during lunch break. Usually like their burrito bowl. Like the food but front cashiers behavior is not nice. All the time they make faces as if they are tired and not at all welcoming.

“Very delicious food. I work in East New York, and I saw many truck drivers, workers stopping at lunchtime. I went to the restaurant, the vibe is so cool, and the tacos I ordered had different and good flavors. Fresh food, tasty, and good customer service.“

“If you are looking for authentic Mexican food, look no further. This small family-owned shop is putting out some of the best tacos I’ve had in this area. Everything was fresh and delicious. It’s a tiny space with a big personality, and the service from the family is top-notch. A must-visit!“

“The restaurant food is really great, we had the shrimp ceviche , tortilla soup, wagu steak, rib eye tacos, kids had burger and chicken fingers. Flavours were delicious, very unique and the food was fresh and tasty f good quality . Service was great Brian was super friendly . The resto acoustics are a little loud but we moved into front part which was better . They even have a waterfront patio !“

They're open until 3am, at least on weekends, and the staff always maintains a pleasant attitude and provides cordial service. “One thing I miss about living in Long Island are the Tex-Mex restaurants. Yes, they're not of the highest quality, and usually they're in a cheap location, and the horrible customer service is always a given, but I do enjoy the food every once in a while.

After searching for a Tex-Mex restaurant, I stumbled across Taco King. This location is actually pretty big with plenty of sitting space. My usual go-to dish at a Tex-Mex place is the Grilled Steak rice platter, so I decided to stick with what I like. I thought the steak here was excellent. It came with one flour tortilla, rice, beans, salad, guac, and chili. The quality and proportion was better than what I expected.

However, it was crazy expensive. I know I sound old, but I remember that only a few years ago, the same dish was about $8 or $9. Now it's over $17! I would gladly eat here more often if the price was cheaper.“

They treat you with respect and dignity. When you order triple chicken, they give you triple. They do not scrimp.

This is the only Mexican chain restaurant that I will go to. The other one's portions are disrespectfully small.
