“Would highly recommend coming to try the Happy Hour menu and Taco Tuesday tacos/margaritas and sit outside to enjoy the beautiful view of the water. There was a bit of miscommunication about the Happy Hour specials on Fridays (no longer available on Fridays but are on other weekdays), as others have mentioned, but Wilmer was responsive over email and generously resolved the issue, which we appreciated. The outdoor bartender Matt, was friendly, kind, and super helpful - he made the visit 5 stars for us. Raw Oysters and the shrimp taco were both good. The birria taco (sauce quite spicy), ribeye taco, and corn ribs were excellent. Chips and salsa were great too. The menu has a lot of creative options and we look forward to trying more items.

The steak was tender and well seasoned and the torta ingredients all tasted very fresh. The server was very friendly and attentive. My wife and I got a their guac and chips an Al Pastor burrito and a grilled chicken platter. We kept saying with everything...wow super fresh. Everything was ultra surprisingly fresh and delicious. Perfect portions, delicious flavors not overly seasoned.

“One thing I miss about living in Long Island are the Tex-Mex restaurants. Yes, they're not of the highest quality, and usually they're in a cheap location, and the horrible customer service is always a given, but I do enjoy the food every once in a while.

After searching for a Tex-Mex restaurant, I stumbled across Taco King. This location is actually pretty big with plenty of sitting space. My usual go-to dish at a Tex-Mex place is the Grilled Steak rice platter, so I decided to stick with what I like. I thought the steak here was excellent. It came with one flour tortilla, rice, beans, salad, guac, and chili. The quality and proportion was better than what I expected.

However, it was crazy expensive. I know I sound old, but I remember that only a few years ago, the same dish was about $8 or $9. Now it's over $17! I would gladly eat here more often if the price was cheaper.“

“I often order chicken steak and shrimp nachos to get all proteins and it's pretty delicious to me. But they can get soggy fast if you don't eat it fast enough. Their tacos are surprisingly low key good especially birria beef tacos and crispy chicken tacos. I would say the overall price is medium or a bit higher but worth it.

Also been a regular at this restaurant for years and pretty hyped that they came up with new things including sushi tacos like (shrimp tempura sushi taco, coco-pastor chicken sushi taco)

They treat you with respect and dignity. When you order triple chicken, they give you triple. They do not scrimp.

This is the only Mexican chain restaurant that I will go to. The other one's portions are disrespectfully small.

“I visited with my wife and the service was quick and great, Anastasia patiently answered all of our questions! We got food off of their Vegan Menu which featured staples like Cauliflower and Tofu. “Honestly, the food here is great. My go to is Honey Chipotle Chicken. Every bite is enjoyable, the portion sizes are large (and cost effective) and the staff are all great to their customers. The small talk doesn't feel forced either.

There's no eating in anymore but honestly it's good that way and I'm all for the business interests so they can keep things running smoothly and I can keep coming back for years to come.“
