“I wanted to Thank Everyone at the Sunrise Diner for all the years they made my Parents feel like family whenever they went there. My Father has since passed but my Sister took my Mother there today and they gave my Mom hugs, told her they loved her and how cute she was. I was in tears when I heard this from my Sister. I am so Happy that my Mom has this place to go to to get out and feel so loved by so many. Over the years the Sunrise Diner has been a very Happy Place to go to. The service is the best we've ever had. They've treated my Family like Family. I cannot thank the People at the Sunrise Diner enough! They mean so much to my Family. And you can't beat their food!!! “I ordered take out party platters over the phone for the workplace this past Thursday and my co-workers and I couldn't have been more pleased. The initial ordering process was smooth. Pickup was on time at 12pm even though they only open at 1130am. And the sushi, as always, was fresh and delicious. Each party platter could easily feed 4-5 people and are reasonably priced. Everyone wants to order from here again in the future (even with work being in Westbury).“

The gyro meat was not my favorite, as it seemed somewhat dry and had a texture that felt overly processed, which affected my enjoyment of that particular dish. However, the salad was absolutely phenomenal. The house dressing was especially delicious and added great flavor. I would highly recommend trying it. The French fries were also excellent, served fresh, hot, and perfectly cooked. What truly made this experience memorable was the exceptional service. The owner personally stopped by my table to ensure everything was satisfactory, which was a thoughtful and appreciated gesture. In addition, my waiter checked in several times throughout the meal to make sure everything met expectations. Small details, such as consistently refilling my water glass without being asked, demonstrated a genuine commitment to customer service and hospitality. Overall, while not every menu item was a standout for me, the outstanding service, excellent salad, and fresh fries made for an enjoyable dining experience. “Went on a whim and was very surprised at the ambiance and hospitality. Food and portions was very generous as well as delicious. The hostess recommended the fried shrimp tacos and we were blown away! I love the fact you have a beverage fridge there and grab any drink you want! I will definitely be going back.“

She checked on us regularly without being overbearing, kept our drinks filled, and had such a positive attitude the entire time. Her excellent customer service really made the visit enjoyable. “I loved my Sunday lunch here. Went with my mother, we got served tea upon sitting down and ended up spending $40-ish for the both of us (including a sushi roll for the appetizer). Lunch special portion was a bit smaller than I would prefer, but I still enjoyed it!“
