“My goodness, we recently moved into the neighborhood and we have tried a few sushi joints in the past couple of months. We have tried Mr. J's several time and I must say, it's probably the best sushi in the area. The quality of the ingredients is very good, extremely fresh, they use very little rice so you can actually taste the ingredients, and they roll the sushi really tightly so that it doesn't fall apart if you breathe a little too close.

The owners are extremely friendly, the restaurant clearly focuses on the quality of their takeout since they don't have any tables, which is great because they can focus on cranking out bags and bags of orders. The more you order, they give you free rolls which is really nice. Even my kid, who is a little picky, crushes his spicy kani rolls, not a single grain of rice left, which makes me really happy. Nothing fancy, but they consistently serve great quality food and service with a friendly smile. Can't ask for anything more.

I am a little curious about the name, who's Mr. J? J-San would have made more sense but since they make good food, I'll respectfully call them whatever they want me to.“

“WOW. i am not disappointed with my order. i ordered off doordash after not having indian food for 3 years and i am blown away. the portion is good, i got it delivered to me hot and fresh, their chicken tikka masala is so flavorful and it has the right amount of spice. the naan is so soft and goes perfectly with the chicken tikka masala, and their rice is amazing as well. this has to be one of my favorite indian food spots right now and would order from them again!! thank you so much .“

“Tried Mike's for the first time after passing it by a million times. I was very delighted to say the least. I ordered the chicken cutlet club sandwich, and I was told it would be a few minutes because they make the cutlets fresh. Something you don't see often. And tge woman at the counter, Amia i believe, was warm and friendly. I will be back here often!“

I recommend the stuffed pizza and eggplant parmigiana - everything made fresh of quality ingredients. BYOB is a huge plus.“

“Went tonight with my family of 5. We were seated with three others at our table. We ordered 3 extra noodles and 3 extra vegetables for our group of 5. When we were served, there was a very tiny portion of noodles and our extra vegetables were split among all 8 people at our table, even though we ordered for our party of 5 and were not with the others. My son ordered extra rice which he didn’t get and I had to wait for the waiter to fry me a steak because he ran out of the first batch. The food tasted good but I didn’t get what I paid for and I am disappointed.“

“As a local for 34 years this has been my goto for takeout. But like most businesses it has slid a little post pandemic but I still feel it is the best takeout Chinese north of the Turnpike. My faves are spring rolls, steamed wontons in garlic sauce, spare ribs, boneless ribs, moo shu, chow fun, chow mei fun, beef with mushrooms, spicy Sichuan beef and lo mein.

One minor pet peeve. I love hot and sour soup. Their's is good. It is hot and it is sour but how is this hot and sour soup when there is NO meat, NO Sichuan pickles and NO black woodear mushrooms in it? If you love tofu and button mushrooms and are vegan you will most likely love it. A little disappointing but as I said, minor. Just order the wonton soup as they make some of the best wontons I've ever tasted. Nice thin skins with deliciously seasoned pork filling.

I've never had an issue with the service. Or with glove wearing. And never gotten sick. And their on-line ordering page works great. Convenient and very good food.“

“Food was good here. Authentic dim sum stuff. However, there isn't a lot of variety to choose from, like how it normally is in most dim sum restaurants. Service was very good. Friendly staff. I'd come back because it's around the way, but I'd have to drive a little further to get a wider variety.“

“All I can say is WOW!

Last year, I had a terrible experience with Dortoni and Huntington and swore I would never go back. However, after reaching out, Donna contacted me personally she was incredibly apologetic and truly went above and beyond to make things right.

Fast forward to this past week.

I needed a cake for my mother’s surprise 60th birthday. I reached out to Donna again and she was absolutely amazing. She took the time to listen to everything. I wanted paid attention to every detail and even offered great suggestions and ideas to help bring my vision together she made me feel completely confident in my order. I do not have a worry in the world that this cake would be beautiful. She reassured me it would be and it truly was. The cake was so beautiful. I didn’t even want the restaurant to cut it and the top Of that, it was absolutely delicious!

She was so incredibly helpful throughout the entire process, which made everything so easy and stress-free.

Because of Donna and Donna alone, I will continue to visit Dortoni, especially in their Levitown location. I will also be reaching out to her and her only for all my future orders. The pictures below don’t do justice. This cake was gorgeous in person.“
