We didn’t have the food long enough to take pictures 😅 but we are so happy we stoped at Salpino’s to try them out. We purchased three sandwiches 2 of “ the classic “ and 1 of “ the supreme “ . We also purchased the Farfalle pasta salad and chicken Caesar pasta salad. We catered for the first time this Christmas Eve. We ordered the Christmas package and the food was plentiful, delicious and high quality. The seafood was fresh as was each course. Just give yourself time when picking up order. Staff very nice! Highly recommended.

The Original Salpino of Wantagh is a restaurant and store known for great food and quality. The chicken marsala, salad, and penne with oil and vinegar, and Italian bread yielded zero digestive issues, with great quality and leftovers for a week. The chicken, sun-dried tomato and broccoli dish was out of this world and heated up second day like it was fresh. The price point is great, and the options are a large variety. The Calabrian Caccio cavalo cheese is available here, as well as a gasket for a little stove top espresso pot. The Prosciutto Bread looks fabulous, and the Cranberry and Pistachio Cookies are Yum. The Rigatoni pasta is also offered. They are the best caterer for parties, always arriving on time with the freshest food and professional service. The quality is the main selling point, with guests coming back for 2nds, 3rds, and 4ths. The deli always has great recommendations and sandwiches. Never had a bad meal at this place. The parking is atrocious and narrow. The gift card pays for the dinner, but the tax is not covered.
