Bagels Restaurants near Merrick, NY

“A close friend needed to send food for shiva this morning. After just reopening from Rosh Hashanah Sam was able to have this prepared for the family in a short period of time. Everything delicious and plentiful as always. Thank you for always being there for people in our community!“

“Whenever I'm in Merrick, which is usually two or three times a month, I always stop at Bagelman of Merrick. They have the best bacon and egg sandwiches and their tuna and chicken salads are always a welcome sight back home. Their bagels are always fresh and flavorful no matter what variety I get. I've come to know the owner, Boris, and his staff, and they are always most helpful. Looking forward to my next trip to Merrick.“

“I got the Chicken Cutlet Club from Sopranos on Sunday for lunch. Best NY deli sandwich I've had in close to 15 years. Huge chicken cutlet, russian dressing, bacon, the works. It was perfect. I will be back!“

“Stopped in for breakfast and really glad I did. Had an egg, avocado, and tomato bagel. It was fresh, well made, and exactly what I was after. Friendly staff and a nice, welcoming atmosphere on top of it. Easy recommend if you're in the area and want a solid bagel. Will be back.“

“Every employee in the store is extremely nice and friendly. The food is always fresh and delicious, the store is always clean. Having said that, I was very surprised this morning when I received my buttered bagel like this, barely any butter, I’m hoping that gentleman was just having an off day.“

“Great breakfast and amazing service“

“Literally the best in Rvc.. love everything about this new owner and what they have done with the store, food and customer service..the best. Kevin...keep up the great jib“

“The absolute best on Long Island. Worth the trip to Oceanside. They never disappoint. Everything /Egg. Are my favorites.“

“In Nov of 2022, I had the most AMAZING gluten-free bagels I’ve ever tasted! At first, I was afraid they had given me regular bagels! They’re THAT good! I live in Kentucky and have been DREAMING of those bagels ever since I ate the last one!“

“Had a great experience at Long Island Bagel Cafe in Franklin Square! We ordered the smoked salmon on a bagel with a salad on the side, and everything was fresh and delicious.

A special shoutout to Vinny for the excellent customer service. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had a great experience. Great food and even better service. We’ll definitely be back!“

“Delicious bagels, clean store and great, quick service always. Thank you to Dennis for always supporting our school-we appreciate the generous donations and pricing for all events. We look forward to our green mini bagels for St. Patrick’s Day. We all recommend you any opportunity we get.“

“Hey everyone, this spot is seriously the best food in town! The vibe is so nice, the bagels are always fresh, and the staff is super friendly and welcoming. It has that cool, slightly worn-in look. They’ve recently switched owners, and now it’s super clean and fresh, with a huge menu. Plus, they have fresh 100% organic juices and protein shakes! It’s an awesome place!“

“Be warned only place in America that does not put sausage on the Hungry Man Hero, and knowing that you think they tell you.

Hey I been getting bagels from here for years, they are very good, this was first time I got a hungry man and I was just totally amused by the misrepresented menu item and more so when I called and they like yeah we get the all the time.

So, bagels good, hungry man fake.“

“Ordered on DoorDash. Hungry man made correctly, fresh ingredients. Bagel with choc chip cream cheese. Also fresh. Good spread. Copious amounts of the cream cheese. Bagel fresh not to chewy. Overall decent experience. Now let's take it up a notch and sell spreads on DD by the 1/4 & 1/2 pounds!“

“We just used Broadway Gourmet to cater a party for us. Sydney did such an unbelievable set up at our home for a small gathering. Her attention to detail and hard work was so unbelievably impressive. The spread looked beautiful and the food was awesome. Highly recommend! Thank you, Sydney!!“

“I am in town for the weekend and stopped in for coffee and breakfast at about 11 am on a Saturday. I was originally going to pick up food to head back over to the airbnb but ended up staying while I ate a chicken empanada, an Everything Flagel (flat bagel) with lox cream cheese, and a cup of coffee. As I ate, a lot of people came and went and seemed to know the place really well. It appears to be a family business and the customer service is friendly and efficient. The parking is plentiful and convenient, and the place is clean with a great assortment of fresh bagels. The coffee is fresh and average tasting. I was amazed at how many people ordered ordered bagels with the inside fluff scooped out, which I have been doing forever. This is why I was so happy to discover the Flagel which I asked them to scoop out anyway, but there was less to scoop out because it is already flat. I'm interested only in the crispy part, not the soft bready part inside. The empanada was great. They have chicken and beef. If you buy 6 of them, then the 7th one is free. The dessert/sweets assortment varied from things that looked homemade to packaged cookies to muffins from Costco. To go, I bought 2 more garlic bagels with lox and regular cream cheese, a bagel with some homemade chicken salad, a beef and a chicken empanada, plus a black-and-white cookie (which was fresh and delicious even though it was prepackaged.) This place is great, and I wish there was one like this where I live in Redondo Beach, CA. The only negative thing I have to say about Bethpage Bagels is that I wish that they would accept some form of payment other than only cash. Even if it were Venmo, CashApp, or PayPal, any other option would be an easier and more sanitary way to pay for food. I don't like seeing people in a food establishment handling dirty coins and bills if they are also putting food into bags and containers. That's the only reason why I didn't give this place a 5-star rating. If this were not a cash only establishment, I would've purchased 7 empanadas to go, instead of only 2!“

“Simply the best bagels! We fill a suitcase full when we fly back to Florida.“

“The owner is one of the nicest and hard-working men you will ever meet. Guaranteed, this is arguably one of the best delis in the East Meadow-Bellmore area. I highly recommend you get their bacon, egg and cheeses OR any of their bagels. You won't be disappointed.“

“My brother and I were craving a real bagel so we set out to try finding a nice place and grab a half dozen. He remembered “ Poppy’s bagels”. The staff were very nice and attentive. It’s a nice cozy place and well cared for. Clean and we definitely will be new customers of theirs. The bagels were delicious and fresh, even stopping at 1:30 in the afternoon. I was very impressed. Great job and wish you great continued success in Amityville. See you guys soon. Thank you.“

“This chain has cracked the code: perfectly made bagels (always served hot); friendly service (and quick about it); with a fun vibe/decor. Menu is 5 Bagels types + 4 spreads + some lox & fish options. Barely any seating available in the store (everyone picks up). Line got 10 customers long on a Sunday morning. This store was located in the center of Roslyn’s old town. Minimum order of 3 bagels. New spread available: “spicy cream cheese with hot honey” (girl behind the register was not a fan. Lol).“

“Egg sandwiches and the best bagels 🥯“

“Not only the best bagels and spreads in town, but the service is top notch.“

“Ordered on Uber. Although this location is not always available for delivery every chance I get I order from here! Some of the best bagels around. Baked salmon salad is absolutely delicious. Its as close to Russ&Daughters as you're going to get on LI. Veg cream cheese is fresh and tasty! Most places just through some scarps and scallions.“

“I have been coming to Bagelville for a while and they never disappoint. Their bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches are so delicious. They know how I like my eggs and not once have they messed up my order. Their burgers are so juicy and their fries are crispy, not burnt or over cooked, just perfect. Their egg salad is fresh and also delicious. Bagels and rolls are also fresh daily. Not once have I ever had any issue with their food. The cook does an amazing job and the guys in the front are so friendly and always have a smile on their face. I wanted to try their new ice latte and the caramel and chocolate ones taste so good. Another thing is that the place is always clean and tidy. They have an excellent menu for breakfast and lunch. You can’t go wrong coming to this place. It’s amazing.“

“Been coming here since they opened. The owner & everyone who works here is amazing. The bagels & sandwiches never disappoint and i love to support small business!“

“Much appreciation for the fresh and delicious dinners served at the Young Israel of East Northport. The assortment of huge bagels, salads and giant cookies hit the spot for the dozens of seminar attendees!“

“Great bagels and coffee“

“I love this place but please if you guys see this review, my wife and I love your bagels but my wife just got diagnosed with Celiac which means she can't have anything with gluten anymore, if you guys can come up with a gluten free bagel option so that she can have her nova sandwich that will be great! You might already have the option but we just don't know about it so please if you see this review reply and let us know. My wife and I love the Nova sandwiches with the pickles and potato salad on the side, I have told all my clients about you guys, everytime someone asks what's a good bagel place that I know I brag about you guys. I have sent more than 12 people to your place the last 4 months! I will keep doing so but please look into gluten free options if you don't already have them!! Thanks guys!

“Manager of the store is super friendly!! Been here 2x with my dad already. Commuter special is great when you are rushing out to work and need to grab a quick breakfast. Bagels and breakfast sandwiches are fresh. Not salty compared to some bagels that i have had before from other bagel shops. Prices are reasonable“

“Atmosphere is good! Some days here are a lot of people and I understand why😋 Sometimes people unreasonably rude towards workers and it is frustrating. I have bagel with scallion cream cheese almost every morning here and it's delicious! New management is much better than previous one. I will recommend this place to my friends 100%“

“I Have To Say, I Am A Huge Food Critic. These Guys Make The Best Egg Sandwich On Long Island... Delicious & A Definite Recommend 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“We ordered a 5’ hero - half fried chicken cutlet with peppers and mozzarella and half with lettuce , tomato and cheese. We also ordered mild Buffalo wings. I have to tell you that the hero’s were delicious and the wings were some of the best I’ve had!! Christine was very sweet and responsive, and made the ordering process very easy. Thank you for making our Father’s Day delicious!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“I have been going to this place Dr Bagel in Hicksville New Yorkfor almost a year, and I love this place. Very quick and friendly services. Quality of products they sale and make are of great Quality. Even if it’s busy in the morning time, we are in an out in less than 5 to 10 minutes.
Mr Manmohan is very friendly person with great personality helping everyone nicely. Other Staff Members are also very helpful and quick in responding to orders. I love this place and would recommend to all who are interested in Morning breakfast.“

“I like me a good bagel. I travel out of state pretty frequently for work and usually pick one up wherever I go. I don’t know why I keep doing it, it’s always trash. So I come here when I return for a redemption bagel — never disappoints. Good bagels, friendly workers, nice lil local gem!“

“Good is always freshly made and in a timely manner. Place is very clean and the owners and other staff are very friendly. If you are ever in the area I would highly suggest stopping by for a bite to eat!!!“

“Live in the area and I was in the mood for a sesame bagel with chicken salad. It was a little pricey (9 dollars). But wow it’s delicious and the owner was really sweet and gave me some macaroni salad to try (said they just made it that morning), the chicken salad and Mac salad were fresh tasting and's flavorful and I can’t wait to go back.“

“Simply the best bagels! We fill a suitcase full when we fly back to Florida.“

“We were seated immediately upon arrival with our reservation. It is beautifully decorated and spacious. The service was excellent. Plates and utensils were removed after each course. The tuna tarte was excellent. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the sautéed spinach very tasty. We will return.“

“The best bagels with the friendliest staff!“

“Amazing bagels and excellent on everything else. I have moved to FL and never buy bagels. I come to NY and never leave without taking a couple dozen bagels. Excellent customer service. #1 in my book.“

“all tasty goodies plus the people are great been in town forever 😀😄“

“Loved This Place! Went here my 3 morning in Freeport!! Can’t wait to come back and visit! Originally from N.Merrick. Currently living in Denver“

“Loved the delicious breakfast and the neat environment since the new owner came . Keep up the great work 👌🏻“

“I have been patronizing this store since they opened. First of all they have the most amazing one-of-a-kind everything bagel twists with sesame, poppy and salt…delicious! Then, the store is the cleanest I’ve seen…everything is fresh and perfectly presented. They make the best sandwiches, and the service is prompt and courteous…they’re polite, fast and efficient. I definitely recommend Lotsa.“

“Great bagels. Every time we come back to NY we always stock up on the best bagels in the neighborhood.“

“Great food and wonderful people. 👍👍👍“

“Always the best bagels in town. Clean premises and I’ve known the staff since I was a teen.“

“Love this place! The food and drinks are always great, but I do think the ordering and pickup process could be improved. There seems to be a lot of confusion when people walk in to pick up orders they’ve placed online or over the phone.

I think having a separate line specifically for pickups, along with a clear sign that says “Online Pickups Here,” would make the process much easier , quicker, and more organized because I still had to wait 15 minutes when picking up an online order the other day. Other than that, I really enjoy this place and will definitely be back!“
