I had an amazing experience dining at Be-Bob Bagel Shop in the heart of Hempstead, located on Main Street and Front Street. This hidden gem offers a wide variety of bagels with different toppings, a salad bar, and an impressive selection of sandwiches.

What sets Be-Bob apart is the personal touch from the owner, who is often behind the counter, inventing new and wonderful food options. The shop has plenty of seating, with a lovely view from both sides, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy your meal.

“The best bagel spot in Long Island by far. Everyone there is so nice, the place is always super clean, and it smells AMAZING the second you walk in. You can tell all of their food is fresh because everything tastes incredible every single time. The staff are so friendly and genuinely great people. The minute I walk in, they already know exactly what I ordered.
I genuinely can’t get enough of their veggie cream cheese, and their bacon egg & cheese sandwiches are phenomenal. I honestly wish they were open past 2 PM because I would 100% be getting this for dinner too. Highly recommend this place if you want amazing food and even better people.“

“I am in town for the weekend and stopped in for coffee and breakfast at about 11 am on a Saturday. I was originally going to pick up food to head back over to the airbnb but ended up staying while I ate a chicken empanada, an Everything Flagel (flat bagel) with lox cream cheese, and a cup of coffee. As I ate, a lot of people came and went and seemed to know the place really well. It appears to be a family business and the customer service is friendly and efficient. The parking is plentiful and convenient, and the place is clean with a great assortment of fresh bagels. The coffee is fresh and average tasting. I was amazed at how many people ordered ordered bagels with the inside fluff scooped out, which I have been doing forever. This is why I was so happy to discover the Flagel which I asked them to scoop out anyway, but there was less to scoop out because it is already flat. I'm interested only in the crispy part, not the soft bready part inside. The empanada was great. They have chicken and beef. If you buy 6 of them, then the 7th one is free. The dessert/sweets assortment varied from things that looked homemade to packaged cookies to muffins from Costco. To go, I bought 2 more garlic bagels with lox and regular cream cheese, a bagel with some homemade chicken salad, a beef and a chicken empanada, plus a black-and-white cookie (which was fresh and delicious even though it was prepackaged.) This place is great, and I wish there was one like this where I live in Redondo Beach, CA. The only negative thing I have to say about Bethpage Bagels is that I wish that they would accept some form of payment other than only cash. Even if it were Venmo, CashApp, or PayPal, any other option would be an easier and more sanitary way to pay for food. I don't like seeing people in a food establishment handling dirty coins and bills if they are also putting food into bags and containers. That's the only reason why I didn't give this place a 5-star rating. If this were not a cash only establishment, I would've purchased 7 empanadas to go, instead of only 2!“

“I was in a super rush to get to the airport this morning and I had a family of eight to feed before I get there I called Moshe at the Giant bagel store and gave him the order over the phone and 10 Minutes later the food was waiting for me all packed in bags and boxes Moshe and his wonderful staff even his wife came to the rescue I can’t thank them enough. “I have been coming to Bagelville for a while and they never disappoint. Their bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches are so delicious. They know how I like my eggs and not once have they messed up my order. Their burgers are so juicy and their fries are crispy, not burnt or over cooked, just perfect. Their egg salad is fresh and also delicious. Bagels and rolls are also fresh daily. Not once have I ever had any issue with their food. The cook does an amazing job and the guys in the front are so friendly and always have a smile on their face. I wanted to try their new ice latte and the caramel and chocolate ones taste so good. Another thing is that the place is always clean and tidy. They have an excellent menu for breakfast and lunch. You can’t go wrong coming to this place. It’s amazing.“

“I love this place but please if you guys see this review, my wife and I love your bagels but my wife just got diagnosed with Celiac which means she can't have anything with gluten anymore, if you guys can come up with a gluten free bagel option so that she can have her nova sandwich that will be great! You might already have the option but we just don't know about it so please if you see this review reply and let us know. My wife and I love the Nova sandwiches with the pickles and potato salad on the side, I have told all my clients about you guys, everytime someone asks what's a good bagel place that I know I brag about you guys. I have sent more than 12 people to your place the last 4 months! I will keep doing so but please look into gluten free options if you don't already have them!! Thanks guys!

Its as close to Russ&Daughters as you're going to get on LI. Veg cream cheese is fresh and tasty! Most places just through some scarps and scallions.“

We stopped in here yesterday morning and had some of the BEST bagels I’ve had in a long time. The cream cheese flavors were fun and new and we got to sample a couple before making our choices. They tasted like they were made with intention and care and not just chunky ingredients mixed together like a lot of the other places around here.
