Mio Posto Merrick is a lively restaurant that provides a welcoming atmosphere and delicious food. The staff and owners are friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The restaurant is spacious and can accommodate private parties, including birthdays and bridal showers, with options for customizing the event space.
The menu features a variety of dishes, such as the Chopped Salad, Lamb Chops, Shrimp, Linguini with Clam Sauce, and Pork Chops. Many guests have praised the food, noting that the wait staff is attentive and not understaffed. However, some guests have found the center-cut pork chops to be a bit dry and expressed disappointment with the Chilean sea bass, which was overcooked. Despite this, other dishes and the mussels appetizer have received high praise for being cooked perfectly. The restaurant also offers a decent drink menu, including options like the coffee old fashion and spicy margarita. Mio Posto Merrick occasionally hosts events like dinner shows and has a DJ for special occasions, adding to the lively energy and ambience.
Mio Posto Merrick provides parking, but it may require some searching to find a spot. Despite this minor inconvenience, the restaurant's excellent service, delicious food, and accommodating staff make it a worthwhile dining destination that guests are eager to return to.
