“We were looking for somewhere to grab a bite to eat before going to a lecture at the Merrick Public Library. The photos of the food looked fabulous, so we decided to give Bourbon & Brews a try. We were greeted by Will, who rocks, offering happy hour specials and cocktails in a pint glass. Burgers were great, and the nachos were superior. Definitely will be back!“

“Saturday night and we wanted to have something good and different to eat. Google helped to make it ! A great experience ( the service was great) and delicious food ( steak sandwich SUPERBLY DELICIOUS and the chicken one on the second place! But when a dessert time comes it was from another planet!! The most tasty and amazingly delicious handmade vanilla bean ice cream (the one with coconut and some kind of liquor) was the cherry on top of the night. 100 % recommended restaurant“

“I cannot say enough about the Library Cafe, the staff and the food! We had a 50th Birthday Party in the upstairs private room overlooking the bar. The food was delicious and there was PLENTY of it! The bar/wait staff was both attentive and quick getting to all of us! The party was perfect right down to the music which they let us pick! Definitely having more events at the Library!“

“If I had to give a honest rating, it would be 3.5. The service and atmosphere are top notch. We ordered two appetitzers - the raw clams which were fresh and delicious, but the oysters Rockefeller were a little dry. My friend ordered a steak, which they overcooked but they made the mashed potatoes exactly as requested. I ordered the chicken cordon bleu, which was good but not great. For dessert we ordered a chocolate mousse cake, which light - not overly sweet and delicious. We will definitely give them another try because the ambiance and service were excellent.“

Seems she took our order and disappeared. But the server assistants were on point. Dinner was really good. We will go back… because of the food. Even the manager walked pasted us a dozen times. There were 6 tables.. perfect time for manager to mingle… just saying. Place is very nice, great menu too. Just left feeling ignored. Nice music too. Maybe the server was having a bad day? “I love to travel, and Revel restaurant in Garden City, NY, is truly one of the best restaurants I have been to. The managerial staff were very friendly and accommodating, the food was excellent, and the service was impeccable. Melissa, our server, explained everything so well, and she took her time with us. The wait staff worked with her seamlessly so that everything came out on time, and our water glasses were always full. The cuisine offered so many different choices, even for vegetarians and vegans. The vegetarian dishes I tried were a myriad of flavors, and it was so nice to experience new creations that I have never had at any other restaurant. Revel’s decor and lighting made us feel like we were somewhere very special but also comfortable. If I lived near this restaurant, I would visit frequently. We loved our experience.“

“Perfect little cozy spot for Breakfast/ Lunch with a European Atmosphere, spacious with seating that allows privacy and comfort.
Breakfast was great , I loved the touch of Lettuce on the plate which was tasty along with the potatoes and Eggs . The only thing that bothered me was the Bill which much to my surprise was $ 5.00 for a small cup of coffee.. that added $ 10 for my friend and myself. The issue is NOWHERE on the menu is it listed .. Our Waiter David was attentive and pleasant, but he should have mentioned that a cup of coffee is extra or offered a glass of Orange juice .. I’ll go there again because I really like the place and it’s close to my home .. next time I’ll ask if the glass of water they put in the table is in place of a nice morning cup of coffee…“

“I enjoyed this restaurant and experience and would 100% go back. The polenta fries were yummy but very salty and the arugula salad was also really good (maybe toast the pine nuts for future?). The eggplant parm was okay and my friend said it may have been lacking something. I had the clam pizza and it was very good! I love clam pizza and this is up there on the list. My friend ordered the $50ish steak and while it was good, there was too much inedible fat on it (hence the 3 rating on food). The potatoes and onions that came with it were apparently delicious!“

“Went in for breakfast. Our server was decent. Walked away as I was finishing telling him my order, which came out ICE COLD & WRONG!!!! I requested a ham, COOKED/SAUTÉED ONION & American cheese omelet, fries and RYE toast with crispy bacon. My omelet was well done, the onions RAW, fries were ice cold my bacon was not cooked and not there had to tell the runner, and my toast was marble. All this for OVER &50.00!!! The server came by, we were basically finished. Asked how everything was. How would he or the runner know our order. Neither one looked at the order. NEVER AGAIN!!!“

“I enjoyed a Friday night dinner there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bartenders were very attentive.
The dining room is small,outdoor seating and seating at the bar is available.

They are able to open the large windows in the front of the restaurant and gives an all around al fresco dining experience. It was a very warm day, and I would have preferred air conditioning but it was still nice.

I didn't have a reservation, but was able to sit at the bar. Which was very nice.

They have a good drink menu with nice cocktails and a good selection of wines and beers. I went with a Peroni.

The menu is small but the is a great selection. The roasted chicken wings were delicious, the Uncle Frank's Pizza and the Meatball Pizza were excellent!

I will go back to Uncle Franks but will remember to make a reservation.“

“I had an issue with my room facing the open atrium area and the noise level from the bar extending past quiet hour. The front desk manager, Stephen, immediately addressed my concern and moved me to a room in a more desirable location. I also found the front desk and concierge lounge employees to be very friendly and helpful. My room service attendant, Holly, made sure my order was as specified and she delivered it with a smile!! I really appreciated her kind demeanor. I felt my business mattered to everyone I came in contact with at this Marriott property and would not hesitate staying here again when my travels bring me back to Long Island.“
