My husband is Greek and I have been to many Greek restaurants in NY and on Long Island. This is now my favorite. The food is so authentic!!! Very fresh and I can tell it’s sourced intentionally. Give it a try I am sure you won’t be disappointed!!!

Skara Taverna is a beautiful restaurant with a nice ambience. The food is impeccable, fantastic, and delicious, made with intention and high-quality ingredients. Dishes include branzino with lemon potatoes, fried calamari, grill octopus, Wagyu Keftedes, Spanakopita, and pork and lamb chops. They also offer free pita and bread with a dip. The service is warm, attentive, and thoughtful. The space can be packed and very loud, especially with live music. It is a wonderful place for an enjoyable dinner or a family gathering.
