Went in for breakfast. Our server was decent. Walked away as I was finishing telling him my order, which came out ICE COLD & WRONG!!!! I requested a ham, COOKED/SAUTÉED ONION & American cheese omelet, fries and RYE toast with crispy bacon. My omelet was well done, the onions RAW, fries were ice cold my bacon was not cooked and not there had to tell the runner, and my toast was marble. All this for OVER &50.00!!! The Imperial diner in Freeport is the best of the best. The atmosphere is friendly and very welcoming. The staff is top notch. The food is always absolutely fresh and delicious. The breakfast bowl was delicious, the portions are really a lot so I always have to take some home. My son loves the chocolate chip pancakes. Whether you are going for a cheese burger deluxe or a omelet for breakfast. You will not be disappointed. I love this diner

Imperial Diner is a wonderful restaurant known for its excellent, fast and friendly service, and a super clean, updated atmosphere with a beautiful retro design. Parking is plentiful, making it convenient for guests. The menu offers a great selection of meals with generous portions and a wide variety of options, including highly recommended dishes like the Caesar wrap, potato salad, omelet, and juicy burger. The chicken and waffles with cinnamon butter maple syrup has also received praise, described as absolutely amazing. The patty melt, pickles, coleslaw, and desserts are a must. The staff is accommodating with custom requests and leftovers are packaged professionally. It is a great place for families and offers first-class treatment for every customer. The outdoor dining option is nice too.
