“Yesterday was the first time I have been to Popei’s. What a great night! From the moment we walked in the owner/chef greeted us. We sat outside in the tent with the great musician. He was very interactive, took requests. People were singing along, It’s was very enjoyable. It was very clear our waitress, Janice was extremely busy but also very thorough careful and caring. It’s obvious she cares about what she is doing and works very hard. Upon my ordering, I mentioned a food allergy Janice double checked that things were OK before she submitted the order. 2 other people came to verify before cooking my meal. The food was SO GOOD! Big portion sizes. Gave my mother dessert to celebrate her birthday. Overall, it was an absolutely fantastic night. We will be back. My only suggestion would be when the musician is taking a break to lower the background music. When he wasn’t singing, the music was still incredibly loud and we had difficulty hearing each other at the table.”

“Today we had my daughter’s high school graduation party at Red Volpe ! it housed 50 people in their aide party room- we chose buffet style- we did cash bar - and it was AH amazing ! Salvatore (the owner) and his staff were on point ! Thirty teens plus the rest of the crowd can’t stop raving about the food - chicken francais- chicken parm - vodka pasta- caesar salad- rolls - mozzarella sticks- meatballs- we got to choose what we wanted and we designed the menu ! Sal scooped italian ices for dessert and I also brought in NoFoDoCo custom mini doughnuts. I sat in the bar area and Sal made amazing drinks- blueberry smash is one of my new faves ! We also created a little space for photo back drop ! This local place is a great addition to Bethpage and cannot wait to frequent it for dinners and lunches. I have also had their pizza which is delicious as well !”

“One of the best hidden gems in Nassau county. By far, my favorite Thai place on the island. Their lunch special is phenomenal and all their food is tasty and it hits the palette senses just right. The staff are friendly and kind, making sure you have everything you need. Always look forward to eating here and it’s by far one of my favorite meals every week. Highly recommend.”

“Come here daily for salads, burrito bowls, Greek bowls. Pop Salad and El Diez menus are a great deal under 10 dollars (guacamole is free) they even have a combo with chips and drink for $10. Portions are big. You can customize everything, and it tells you in the app if anything has gluten, dairy, or nuts. Hard to review a restaurant that has this level of variety, but the healthy dishes are definitely as good as anywhere else for less money and faster service. The fast pass subscription gets you money discounted on every order automatically so it pays for itself if you come regularly which isn't a problem at a place that has everything and is open until almost midnight every day. The benefit of Wonder having everything is that the entire family can get whatever type of food they want from one location and you don't have to agree on what to have for dinner or lunch anymore. No need to wait on a line at Chipotle anymore.”

“I am in town for the weekend and stopped in for coffee and breakfast at about 11 am on a Saturday. I was originally going to pick up food to head back over to the airbnb but ended up staying while I ate a chicken empanada, an Everything Flagel (flat bagel) with lox cream cheese, and a cup of coffee. As I ate, a lot of people came and went and seemed to know the place really well. It appears to be a family business and the customer service is friendly and efficient. The parking is plentiful and convenient, and the place is clean with a great assortment of fresh bagels. The coffee is fresh and average tasting. I was amazed at how many people ordered ordered bagels with the inside fluff scooped out, which I have been doing forever. This is why I was so happy to discover the Flagel which I asked them to scoop out anyway, but there was less to scoop out because it is already flat. I'm interested only in the crispy part, not the soft bready part inside. The empanada was great. They have chicken and beef. If you buy 6 of them, then the 7th one is free. The dessert/sweets assortment varied from things that looked homemade to packaged cookies to muffins from Costco. To go, I bought 2 more garlic bagels with lox and regular cream cheese, a bagel with some homemade chicken salad, a beef and a chicken empanada, plus a black-and-white cookie (which was fresh and delicious even though it was prepackaged.) This place is great, and I wish there was one like this where I live in Redondo Beach, CA. The only negative thing I have to say about Bethpage Bagels is that I wish that they would accept some form of payment other than only cash. Even if it were Venmo, CashApp, or PayPal, any other option would be an easier and more sanitary way to pay for food. I don't like seeing people in a food establishment handling dirty coins and bills if they are also putting food into bags and containers. That's the only reason why I didn't give this place a 5-star rating. If this were not a cash only establishment, I would've purchased 7 empanadas to go, instead of only 2!”

“Love coming to Chili’s especially this one. Maria is one of the friendliest waitress anywhere. Anytime I come I always ask for her and I love that as soon as I sit down she already is bringing me over my Diet Coke, love she knows what I drink. She definitely is an asset to have”

“Had a great experience here. It’s such a small and cute local place near the train station. I come here often to do work as it’s a great spot to lock in. My experience was also made great by the barista that helped me! Julia was very friendly and made a great latte. I do think this place could maybe be a bit more staffed since the barista seemed overwhelmed when multiple people came in. Otherwise a fantastic spot!”

“The best Carvel in the area ! What makes it the best is that they definitely have the friendliest staff. And they keep the place super clean. I take my daughter there at least once a week after her gymnastics class and on more than one occasion have been shown appreciation for our loyalty.”

“Husband & I were in the area & decided to stop in for lunch today & glad we did. I had the Lamb Gyro, came w/french fries & Beef Barley soup. Soup was delicious. Gyro had plenty of meat (lamb) w/lettuce, tomatoes & onions. All very fresh. Husband had Falafel which he said was absolutely delicious. We had a great lunch. The staff were very nice and attentive & restaurant was cheerful & clean. We will definitely be coming back to try their dinner next time. Highly recommend Opa Grille.”

“Ciminelli's is a great little spot to satisfy that pizza craving or have a full blown Italian dining experience. Recently renovated there is plenty of seating and a nice cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended. Oh, and the zeppoles are to die for.”

“It’s not just Wednesday is Sundae at Carvel .. any day is great for a Sundae ! Was given a sample cup of the Strawberry Soft Serve because I said I had never had it before .. it was amazing. Had my favorite on this night though .. Chocolate ice cream with Strawberry topping and whipped cream on top. Great service here !”

“This is an excellent Irish pub. Lots of space, clean and welcoming. My buddy and I enjoyed a proper Guinness and a wonderful Irish coffee. In addition, our fish & chips were outstanding! As for the service, our bartender Peter was truly a gentleman, professional, attentive and personable. I am definitely returning and highly recommend stopping by if you are in the neighborhood.”

“Champagne House has become our go to place! Discovered this gem a few months ago and never disappoints! Decided to go with our waiter Jason’s recommendation Bourbon Street Steak. WOW just WOW It was out of this world. My husband ordered French Onion Pizzetta that to is just as delicious. Glad before we left the Chef came from kitchen speaking to other patrons and we were able to tell him how much we enjoyed our meal this evening as well as our earlier visits Highly recommend!!”

“Every time I'm in the area I make sure to stop by Mangoes. The staff is super friendly, atmosphere is spot on, and the food is delicious. Portions are huge. This time we got fresh guac made tableside, piña coladas, jambalaya, and a combination plate. Everything was was excellent and I'm looking forward to my next visit.”

“I’m very picky when it comes to meat. Other places serve that thin slimy chicken. This place serves actual chunks of real chicken. Fresh and delicious. I won’t go anywhere else. Prices are good as well. It’s a typical take out place with a few tables so atmosphere is average but they are very nice there.”

“I work nearby until one pm. I enjoy the food here, more than most other places. The food always tastes fresh, and the service is fast.There is always alot of customers coming and going.The only problem is the parking is very hard to come by. It is located next to several businesses, next to a main Street and the railroad tracks.”
