“Yesterday was the first time I have been to Popei’s. What a great night! From the moment we walked in the owner/chef greeted us. We sat outside in the tent with the great musician. He was very interactive, took requests. People were singing along, It’s was very enjoyable. It was very clear our waitress, Janice was extremely busy but also very thorough careful and caring. It’s obvious she cares about what she is doing and works very hard. Upon my ordering, I mentioned a food allergy Janice double checked that things were OK before she submitted the order. 2 other people came to verify before cooking my meal. The food was SO GOOD! Big portion sizes. Gave my mother dessert to celebrate her birthday. Overall, it was an absolutely fantastic night. We will be back. My only suggestion would be when the musician is taking a break to lower the background music. When he wasn’t singing, the music was still incredibly loud and we had difficulty hearing each other at the table.“

“Why did I ever eat frozen ravioli?? The fresh ravioli is amazing: creamy and cheesy. The Daily Special is an amazing bargain! Friends tell me their lunch sandwiches and prepared foods are also delicious, so I have plenty of reasons to go back.“

“Hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner here and we are SO glad did - everything was perfect! Everyone could not get over how delicious all the food was. Danny worked with us to create a menu that was tailored to us and our guests and we got SO much food included in the package we did. He also worked with us to create table arrangements that worked best for our event. I was worried at first that the space only being partially private and not a true private room would be an issue but it was not at all! We really didn’t need it and were happy to still get to enjoy the Sinatra singer that plays for the restaurant that night. He even came over and sang for our party and had us dance which was not expected but a fun surprise that we loved! Overall we had a great event here and I am so happy we chose them to host it!“

The food is delicious; there’s too much food there’s always at least two meals for each order the food that you make. The overall ambience is fun as the patrons that frequent this restaurant are regulars. There’s just a homey and fun tinge to this Bellmore Classic.“

“We lucked upon this lovely place when staying in a nearby hotel due to a canceled flight. I highly recommend the burrata appetizer; our other dishes were great too but came from the specials menu so you may not be able to get them consistently. Soft shell crabs, veal osso buco... but I think anything you get there will be fresh and of the highest quality. Good wine list too. If we ever find ourselves in the neighborhood again we will make a point of returning to Franina.“

This time when we came up to visit for Christmas we knew we had to get there for a great dinner. I can easily say it still is one of the best places to get amazing Italian food around. The Chicken Napoli was phenomenal and there is nothing like their penne à la vodka! The drinks were great and service was top notch. We also happened to go the day after Christmas when we got lots of snow and the car valet even brushed off our car! We were so happy to not feel rushed because we were there with great friends and just really enjoying ourselves! We can’t wait to come back and visit from Georgia to have their food again!“

“While we don't make it to Piccolo all that often it never fails to excel. Everyone is made to feel like a regular and the wait staff is exceptional. Food is always outstanding, timing is impeccable and one never feels rushed. Tight quarters, but it all runs like a well oiled machine. “I had my son's wedding rehearsal dinner at Zona last night. I was originally booked to have the party on Saturday, but the bride came down with the flu. Gianna was so helpful and accommodating. She was able to change the date for me without hesitation. The day of the affair, the staff was so helpful in getting the room set up for us. Our waitress, Jodi, was absolutely incredible. She made sure that our guests had a fresh drink before they even realized their drink was empty. The food was delicious and plentiful. But most of all, the service that Jodi provided to us was outstanding. I would book another event at Zona without hesitation.“

“Was looking for a non-chain restaurant and found this neighborhood Italian restaurant. Was glad I did. Authentic Italian food and very friendly staff.
