I live in the area and decided to do a lunch date for me and my son. Had the chicken Caesar salad and he had the hot spicy chicken sandwich .
I can see this restaurant being a vibe on a friday night the bar section. They had a lot of good Ole German food on the specials . Parking is behind the restaurant in the rear lot .

There's a reason why it's been around as a landmark in Garden City
Had an amazing lunch solo at the bar, actually got to relax and enjoy. Dennis was delightful and definitely made the day.
