“Really nice spot to satisfy a seafood craving! Everything felt very clean and tasted good. I’m personally not a big fan of “chaotic” dishes, so I really enjoyed how simple yet delicious everything was. I usually take pictures, but I forgot to take picture of any of the dishes i ate here because it was gone so quick.

Definitely recommend the scallops and octopus for appetizers and loved the orata and lobster roll for mains. My partner said he really enjoyed the burger as well!

Customer service was also excellent, from the time we came into the time we left everyone was extremely considerate and friendly.

I even forgot one of my takeout bags and the nice hostess/waitress ran out to give it to me! Lovely place and I’ll definitely be back.”

“Came to New York from Florida and was on the hunt for an authentic deli for the famous BECSPK and came across brothers deli.
Upon walking in, the young man at the register was dealing with a customer fighting over 5 cents trying to scam the store. I watched it all unfold. The worker kept his cool, stayed firm on his response and professional.
Even after the customer left he didn’t complain about the interaction! I like that!
We joked and talked about visiting home ( NY) after being away for many years and the nostalgic candies we saw waiting.
Needless to say, we came back almost daily for their breakfast. Absolutely perfect, they accommodated our allergy request and was greeted with a smile and nice conversation each time. There is something special about knowing your value in a store and they definitely made us feel welcome, for a little corner deli, They are making a nice footprint in the community!
We would love to comeback and say hi during our next visit!

“Awesome Lebanese food in the heart of West Hempstead. The restaurant is clean and cozy, the atmosphere is relaxing. We ordered kafta, spinach pies, safihas, marinated steak and chicken, and baba ganoush. They were fresh and delicious. This place is a real gem!!”

“One thing I miss about living in Long Island are the Tex-Mex restaurants. Yes, they're not of the highest quality, and usually they're in a cheap location, and the horrible customer service is always a given, but I do enjoy the food every once in a while.

After searching for a Tex-Mex restaurant, I stumbled across Taco King. This location is actually pretty big with plenty of sitting space. My usual go-to dish at a Tex-Mex place is the Grilled Steak rice platter, so I decided to stick with what I like. I thought the steak here was excellent. It came with one flour tortilla, rice, beans, salad, guac, and chili. The quality and proportion was better than what I expected.

However, it was crazy expensive. I know I sound old, but I remember that only a few years ago, the same dish was about $8 or $9. Now it's over $17! I would gladly eat here more often if the price was cheaper.”

“Wednesday morning, forgot my lunch, staring down a long, stressful day at work. I stepped out thinking I’d just grab something quick. Googled a few spots and came across Pizza Block.

Walked in, and the place was beautiful. Spacious, welcoming, super friendly staff. And the pizza? Unbelievable. I grabbed two slices at a great price, and they were the best slices I’ve ever had!

I went back to work in a completely different mood, literally singing through the rest of my day. Not exaggerating when I say it turned my whole day around.

“Wing Wan is a kosher (under supervision of VHQ) Chinese restaurant. The food is fine. Employees are pleasant and friendly. There is plenty of parking.
The restaurant does a lot of catering and at least the time I was there that there primary business”

“For the people complaining about the price and or the waitress at the cashier , maybe you should think about how the owner decides everything/ prices and not the cashier. This place has always been amazing. I think it is crazy for someone to leave a bad review because of the price. If you can’t afford don’t go out. Simple as that.
