From the outstanding service to the friendly staff, my visit left a positive impression on me. One of the highlights of my visit was the wonderful chat I had with two standout employees, Virginia and Mike. They were not only attentive and efficient but also engaged in friendly conversation, making my dining experience even more enjoyable. Their dedication to providing great service was evident throughout my visit. While I hadn't tried a Big Mac in a long time, I decided to indulge in some of my favorite junk food before starting my upcoming diet and intense 75 Hard workout program. “I’ve been pleasantly surprised by this Wendy’s lately. The food has been consistently good, and I’ve noticed a big improvement in the quality of the sandwiches. The tomatoes are actually a nice size, and the lettuce looks fresh—something I honestly haven’t seen here in years. Whether it’s new ownership or just better management, keep it up.

I do have two concerns.

First, the Extra Value Meal. Traditionally, Wendy’s has offered small, medium, or large combo sizes. At this location, I’ve been told that only medium or large are available. Not everyone wants or needs a larger meal, so please let customers choose the size they want, including a small, if it’s available under Wendy’s standard offerings. No need for the upcharge, and that needs to be noted.

Second, the drive-thru experience. I’ve noticed that even when there isn’t a line behind me, I’m often asked to pull forward after paying and wait for someone to bring out my food. While I understand doing this when the restaurant is busy or an order is delayed, it seems unnecessary when there are no other cars waiting. It gives the impression that drive-thru performance metrics are being prioritized over accurately reflecting how long customers actually wait to receive their food. If corporate is tracking those numbers, they should represent the full customer experience.

Address those two issues, and you’ll have a customer for life.“

“I had a great experience at Smashburger. The food was delicious the burgers were juicy flavorful, and cooked just right and the fries were perfectly crispy. The service was also excellent Stacy was friendly, welcoming, and she recommended the jalapeño burger it was a really enjoyable meal, and I'd definitely come back again for both the great food and service.“

Every time I go with my wife to visit our son who is at Hofstra despite trying to go to different venues to grab a bite before we head back to Jersey. We always end up at black label because the food is so good, the service is great the people are very friendly and the service is quick. If you’re in Hempstead or Westbury and looking for a good burger, good hotdog in a simple atmosphere black label is my first choice.“

“Okay first of all Mashallah 😍. I was born in the generation of Halalbee’s. First off, I got my order quickly! The man I spoke with had a mask on, and the restaurant was perfectly COVID compliant. The food?! AMAZING. Perfectly priced for the quality of what you’re getting. Definitely have the Double Decker with the Maple Beef Bacon! The Panko Chicken Nuggets were crispy, and fresh. The Truffle Fries were seasoned beautifully! Easily one of the most satisfying meals I’ve had in a long time. Excellent portions! “I had an amazing experience at Golden K Burgers. Golden K Burgers must be one of the best burger places I have eaten at. Firstly, Golden K Burger has such a good party vibe! It is a great place for not just burgers, but also partying!!! The burgers were amazing. We asked for recommendations from the staff, and she suggested The Classic American, The A1, The Farmhouse, and The Bulogoi Burger. Somehow, we ordered all 4, and unfortunately, I never tasted The Classic American. I could say otherwise for the rest of the burgers. The A1 Burger was an amazing burger, the mushroom flavor stood out, and it had a great saucy flavor. The meat was very juicy and soft. The Bulgogi Burger is not as special, it just tastes like marinated beef, and nothing else. The Bulgogi Burger is not worth the money. The Farmhouse was amazing! It had a recognizable smokey flavor, with the crunchy onion, it became a juicy, smokey, crunchy burger! It was my favorite one, and you HAVE to try it! The french fries were very crunchy and delicious, and the meat to bun ratio was perfect! Even though the whole place was busy, the waiters were super kind and helpful. The whole place was clean, and their sofas felt amazing. Their meals come out faster than expected, and they even have an outdoor area for parties, even though you have to reserve it. Speaking of reserving, you HAVE to reserve a seat, online or by calling. We were very lucky, the place was not as packed and I got a seat in less than 10 minutes, but other times, I cannot say the same. Reserving does not take a lot of time, and can save you a lot of time inside the restaurant since it is packed!!! The inside of the restaurant also feels very cramped due to the small space and the number of customers, so it might get uncomfortable. The bottles are also… weird. For some reason, when we got 2 soda drinks from the glass bottles, there was residue on the rim of the bottle, even though it was freshly opened, I suggest drinking from straws! Overall, I love this place, it really deserves a high score on Google Maps. I highly recommend it as one of THE BEST burger places in New York!“

“This place has decent smash burger compared to the competitors around bayside, flushing, and fresh meadows.

The only critique I have is the double smash burger could be less salty and the burger is a bit dry on the inside (but too dry to the point it makes you want to drink water). Also the wait was a bit long (30min)“

“It’s so clean here, I even posted it on TikTok. The man at the front counter was super helpful and the prices are worth it! They even have combo meals for certain items like the hot dog combo which was amazing, it came with hot dog, fries and a soda! It’s sanitary compared to other places. Definitely 10/10 recommendation. They don’t play with the food when it comes to here. They have plant based options if you don’t eat meat and even gluten free options. EDIT: I forgot to add, it’s also HALAL“

“The Texas Ranger restaurant has a wonderful pedigree having been moved to its current location from its former location on the Nautical mile, a restaurant which is now called Rachel's. In the early 80s, my wife and her sister worked as waitresses there and remember the goodness of the food 45 years later. From what I understand, the new owners bought the name and the original recipes for the classic dishes for which the original Ranger was known. Forty-five years later, my wife says the recipes remain true to the original and are definitely worth a visit and revisit.“

“Went in for breakfast. Our server was decent. Walked away as I was finishing telling him my order, which came out ICE COLD & WRONG!!!! I requested a ham, COOKED/SAUTÉED ONION & American cheese omelet, fries and RYE toast with crispy bacon. My omelet was well done, the onions RAW, fries were ice cold my bacon was not cooked and not there had to tell the runner, and my toast was marble. All this for OVER &50.00!!! The server came by, we were basically finished. Asked how everything was. How would he or the runner know our order. Neither one looked at the order. NEVER AGAIN!!!“
