“This place is consistently delicious!!! Most sushi restaurants I’ve frequented over the years are inconsistent with quality and freshness—which is what got me to try Taku in the first place and I’ve never looked back! We order from here 3-4 times per month….and we love it! They also have great Asian dishes when I’m not in the mood for sushi, but the rest of my family is. I especially love their Thai basil and their hibachi vegetables. Sooo good!!“

“Had taken my family here today. Appetizers were just right to intoduce you to your main course! ..the miso soup..the calamari..the tempura..the coconut shrimp. We craved for Ramen since our last Japan trip weeks ago so we had this idea to try it here. Savoring the Kinha Ramen took us back in time when we were in Japan enjoying this noodle dish. You have to try it along side a Japanese soda drink! My family had a welcoming experience which provided an atmosphere of just being ourselves to enjoy family time while enjoying palatable dishes. This restaurant also has an area for those meet ups that calls for to be a little more private and still be relaxed by the bubbly fizz in your glass. Paula, the manager of the place, was very attentive which made this dining experience a very pleasant one. Thanks Paula and your crew. Oh, wait! “I can't say enough good things about JR - the front staff (Joy, Yoyo, Kiko) are amazing, and Jimmy is a great host to everyone that comes in. I really appreciate that they'll give me versions of the food with no breading or cornstarch, and customize dishes in other ways for dietary needs. The #17 Schezwan Chicken on the specials menu is the best in New York, hands down. This place is a vibe and a real asset to the LB scene.“

“We moved from Port Washington to MA this May and have been unable to find a spot that offers everything that Aki does, not to mention at the same quality! They just execute everything so well. It was our go to for sushi, we loved the apps (the crispy rice and jalapeño yellowtail are fire), and loved also having options for classic Chinese food. We loved that it offered a little bit of everything. We only ever ordered takeout but the service was always top notch too. We love and miss you Aki!“

“Been coming here for decades. If you are Korean and a NewYorker there is a 90% chance you know of this place. Classic Korean black noodle spot that doesn’t disappoint! They make less than 12 dishes here and they do it well! Not much more to say. Big space, lots of seats and chill vibes. Totally biased but maybe the single most know korean restaurant in nyc?
