“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

“Came here for lunch because I’ve been craving some hotpot. I’m so glad I did. They have a wide selection of meats, seafood and veggies. I had the pork neck soup base which was rich and delicious. My favorite cut of meat so fat is the snowflake beef. It’s fatty, buttery and tender. The kimchi is amazing as well. Customer service is great. They leave you alone while still being attentive. And just in case they aren’t around, there’s a call bell. The seating is very private. They have booths that can close for even more privacy. The booths seat 6. Definitely recommend!“

Nice spot with super clean ambience. Located in the third floor of the Indigo hotel. Pancakes with whipped cream and mango on top was amazing also the burger was great as well as the kimchi fried rice. Soft shell crab could've def been better but things were great as a whole.

Highly recommended and will be back myself real soon as im in flushing for shopping and food with the fam., often.“

“I was in the area and I come there for Korean food but happened to notice this place stating Korean Vietnamese food and was a little skeptical. I am Vietnamese and do speak Vietnamese and know the Vietnamese names for the dishes. This woman knew how to make vietnamese food with her Korean flare,just didn't know the names understandable. I inquired about one dish the call Bun Cha and is actually with Bun the skinny rice noodles and flattened pork meatballs and actually was made famous by president Obama visiting Hanoi, a Northern Vietnamese dish and not cold dipping noodles as they say that's a Korean dish.“

Really quick service and the owner was so considerate and sweet.

Most sushi restaurants I’ve frequented over the years are inconsistent with quality and freshness—which is what got me to try Taku in the first place and I’ve never looked back! Price is based on weight, but one bowl around 1.5 lb was enough for the two of us. We opted for the “tiny spicy” level and it was just the right out amount of kick — not too spicy but just enough to get you sniffling. The seasoning the chef put it was great too. Highly recommend“

Comes with Spicy or Soy Garlic, Juicy Drumsticks or wings and with some tangy sour pickled radish or sweet creamy kimchi cole slaw. You are missing out if you have not tried this!!! You want some?! Usually I would get this when I worked the Financial District or Midtown Manhattan but this was the closest to home and they did not let me down!! “As sad as I was to see GameStop leave the Pelham Parkway area it was short lived as a sushi spot came to the area for the first time adding something unique and much sought after to the community. I remember in the 2000’s when sushi was something you traveled in a car for miles on the weekend with family to get and now here we are where you can get it every day for a low cost. The Shrimp Tempura roll and Angry Dragon roll are my go to’s and are an amazing quality item and a low cost, light lunch. The staff is extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make my food fresh for a coworker I was gifting lunch to making the surprise even better. I wish this place continued success and will always be a loyal customer!“

I come here when I crave rice and something spicy. They offer cold dishes as side dishes or you can have them as part of of your lunch meal. Got the tofu shreds and celery, bamboo shots in chili oil, and the beef tendon & tripe. They were all delicious. I know other places have cheaper prepared rice dishes like this around flushing but if im in NY food court, this is a nice meal as well which includes hot soup.

Ive recommend their hot oil chili hicken, chicken feet, and the fried fish too. I see lots of locals get their hot rice dishes. Might be worth a try too!“
