“Visited on a rainy day to celebrate our anniversary. It was a small and cozy space. Felt very intimate. We sat on the bar and it was interesting watching the chefs preparing the food. Everything was absolutely delicious. Our reservation was 5:30 on a Sunday night and we were able to do the happy hour. Literally picked everything from the bites section. The Momo’s were delicious and freshly made. Drinks were delicious. We ordered the jolly duck leg with fried rice and they were AMAZING! Highly recommended and will def come back!“

“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

I went on a Sunday and there was plenty of parking but I am sure it would be more difficult on a weekday until after 6pm when street parking becomes available. The burger and fries very solid, the el mensajero drink was excellent, I had some toast with ricotta, honey and almonds that was really good as well. It wasnt very crowded but the space is awesome I would like to go back on one of their event days. Overall good experience will come back for sure.“

“We came on a Thursday right before the 4th. We were immediately seated and noticed the place was a little warm. Not a big deal because it is one of the hottest days this summer. It's almost 100. We got the High Mixed appetizer and the chicken pad Thai. The sampler was good. Spring rolls were good and the dumplings were good. Couldn't do the crab for seafood allergy but the fourth item, we didn't like. It was the texture and didn't have the flavor I was expecting based on the presentation. Service was ok. They had a little bit of a crowd and got them out of there promptly. The pad Thai was really good. It had the perfect amount of flavor and it was light. We needed it to be light because it is hot outside and we still have a lot of walking to do. Overall, it was good. That last item on the High Mixed can go.“

“Such a great experience during an unexpected flight delay. The drinks were great, and the Joseph, Jesse & Paul were incredibly friendly and hospitable and considerate. They really took care of me and made the delay a lot more enjoyable! 10/10, definitely recommend!“

“Food was okay. Brunch only had 2 items that were somewhat breakfast. Chicken and waffles and salfiah & bake. Everything else on the menu was lunch / dinner based.

Drinks were good depending on who made it. 2 friends ordered the same drink. One was presentable with a pineapple, mint, and an umbrella. The other just got the beverage, no razzle dazzle. Tasted the same, but presentation matters.“

“Stopped by for the veg chow mein and really enjoyed it. The flavor was great, well seasoned and tasty. It came to around $12 total, and honestly the portion felt a little small for the price. I wish they'd give a bit more, but the taste made up for it and I'll definitely be coming back to try more dishes.

“Came here for lunch because I’ve been craving some hotpot. I’m so glad I did. They have a wide selection of meats, seafood and veggies. I had the pork neck soup base which was rich and delicious. My favorite cut of meat so fat is the snowflake beef. It’s fatty, buttery and tender. The kimchi is amazing as well. Customer service is great. They leave you alone while still being attentive. And just in case they aren’t around, there’s a call bell. The seating is very private. They have booths that can close for even more privacy. The booths seat 6. Definitely recommend!“

Nice spot with super clean ambience. Located in the third floor of the Indigo hotel. Pancakes with whipped cream and mango on top was amazing also the burger was great as well as the kimchi fried rice. Soft shell crab could've def been better but things were great as a whole.

“Caught a live tuna cutting show today 🐟🔪 This tuna was massive — around 350 lbs. Watching the chef break it down right in front of you was such a show before the meal even started.

Then the taste test… the tuna literally melted in my mouth. You could tell it was fresh off the cut — sweet, clean, zero fishiness.

“Fillmore Deli and Backroom is a pretty solid neighborhood spot with a surprising mix of options. The Korean fried chicken is actually really good crispy, flavorful, and definitely worth trying. They also have a large variety of sandwiches, so there’s something for whatever mood you’re in.

One thing that always throws me off though is they tend to run out of the tuna pretty often, which is strange for a deli. But besides that, everything else seems to be okay. It’s a reliable place to grab a quick bite and the food usually hits the spot.“
