“I had an amazing birthday celebration on Friday 03/13/26. The food is always superb. The music/DJ was rocking. The service was polite and on point. Felicia, the manager was hospitable, beautiful and extremely accommodating to our guest. And she did it all with that pretty smile. We loved the special effects of the bubbles during our birthday song. I pray for continued BLESSINGS over this establishment,and the CEO/owner. The quality of the food here is comparatively high; although some individuals—possibly due to business rivalry—have attempted to tarnish the establishment's reputation, we have been dining here for a long time and have yet to encounter any flaws in the food. If we ever do encounter an issue, we address it directly with the owner, who takes immediate action to resolve it; he understands the nuances of the business and knows exactly how to ensure customer satisfaction. Consequently, we remain consistently pleased with the quality of the food served here.“

“Reservations highly recommended since it’s a small spot. Every dish was honestly great, so excited to go back to try their other stuff, but the beef longganisa and ube ko achar I would def order again in a heartbeat. The sauce for the gnocchi and the skewer were 10/10. Also, their Green Leaf drink with pandan - SO GOOD.

My favorite desserts are literally silvanas and cheese ice cream, so it’s def their own version of these classic Filipino desserts, but satisfied with how they interpreted them.

The highlight of my experience was the auntie who always greets customers with a smile, showing kindness and taking great care of them. Their top dish is the Momo. I tried the chicken steamed Momo and chicken Chow Mein. The Momo was delicious, but while I enjoyed the Chow Mein, it didn't quite meet my expectations. The place has a great vibe.“

“157 Tavern has been a staple in the area for 10 years and is an excellent choice for parties or group gatherings. You can simply provide them with your budget, and they will curate the menu for you, which makes the planning process very convenient.

Regarding the food:

Grilled Spanish Octopus: Highly recommended. The potato pave is delicious, and the octopus is tender with a perfect charred exterior.

Short Rib with Bone Marrow: The meat is very tender and falls apart at the touch of a fork, though I wish the portion of bone marrow was a bit larger.

King Salmon: Quite tender.

Burrata Cheese: Standard/average.

Caramel Flan: Delicious and beautifully presented.

Overall, it is a great spot for a nice dinner.“
