“My team member and I visited Chickys this past Sat for a tasting as we are organizing a large BBQ. We met with owner Asad who is a true professional and friendly guy. We tried multiple items including chicken sandwich, chicken and fries, BBQ chicken and rice and Mac and cheese and everything was Super fresh and absolutely delicious. I took the leftovers home and my family also said the food is super tasty. We are really looking forward to our guests enjoying this delicious food at our picnic.”

“This store is amazingly clean & well preserved. It looks like you walked into a deli from 1969. Its spotless. Its deli case is filled with all types of delicious food. I got a pastrami on rye w/ fries. Its pretty good pastrami. In my opinion its not made on site. Its a pastrami brisket ordered from a provisions company & maybe steamed in the back. It just does not have that fall apart real kosher deli pastrami texture. That being said its very flavorful sandwitch. I definetly enjoyed it. I give the pastrami a 7/10”

“This was one of the top 2 dinners we had both in the City and in the Hamptons this week and was also the least expensive. We couldn’t believe they have Chilean Sea Bass kabobs, and they are only $13 or $20 for a meal. Excellent. Also the dumpling chicken broth dill soup, baklava, hummus, pickles, fries, hot tea- literally everything was fresh and prepared to perfection. As other reviewers have written, this is a hole in the wall find, and I would come all the way to Queens to eat here again! Very near JFK. Service was fairly quick, clientele mostly large families, takes credit cards. Wonderful Israeli/middle eastern cuisine in a very casual atmosphere at very reasonable prices!”

“I'm very skeptical with Chinese takeout that comes from those Chinese corner stores with menus that offer way too many options (aka as any americanized Chinese food). But when you don't have the luxury of a car and you don't want to pay 40 dollars on UberEats for good Chinese food, you'll be convinced to try your luck in the area. Not gonna lie, I chose Dumpling House because it was the closest Chinese food near me, but I was pleasantly surprised by what I found. The women who greeted me at the counter was friendly and took my order: one large hot and sour soup and a small house special fried rice. I wouldn't recommend coming on a hot day because the shop can be hot if you're waiting for takeout, but the wait wasn't too long. After about 15 to 20 minutes, I was walking home with $11 dollar takeout. The hot and sour soup is pretty good and I've had a lot of hot and sour soup in my life. The consistency is not too thin or thick and the flavor is balanced (not too sweet or sour). For 5 dollars, I think it's a steal. The house special rice is good and not too greasy. For some reason, it still tasted Americanized even with the Asian ingredients I was used to. There was some chicken, barbecue pork, mixed veggies, egg, etc. and the ingredients mixed well despite it tasting American. Even though I got a small rice, I still had some leftover to eat the next day. Despite my obviously biased Asian tastebuds, I was very happy with what I got and I will definitely be back for some more hot and sour soup!”

I have stopped at several Colombian restaurants in different areas every time I come to NYC to visit or during layovers to international destinations, this one is the most authentic and I truly felt like in a restaurant in Bogota. I LOVED the food, service and prices. The empanadas were FANTASTIC. Probably the best I’ve had in the U.S. in general. The bandeja paisa and the beans were to die for. Best beans I’ve had! I miss Colombia daily and this place made me feel like I was home.”

I stay in the area around JFK two to three times a month and I like to get my NY Chinese fix delivered so I can relax in my room. The joint I was using has changed up their menu and last time i ordered roast pork fried rice they went to finely chopped roast pork which was almost non-existent in the pint of rice!!! I called them on it and they said it's how it is now. Was my go to, people were nice but they went to this cost cutting bullshit that ruined the the experience for me. (I won't name the place because some of the food is still good but ...) So I looked for a new spot, was given this menu by the hotel front desk ... close by I checked the Yelp and Grubhub reviews, scoped out the pics and decided to try it out. Ordered pork fried rice, chicken wings and egg roll, along with wonton soup. The worst and why 4 stars, wonton soup; bland wontons seemed old like frozen, not fresh and homemade. Roast pork in the fried rice; good, but not enuf pork.. chopped in chunks like it should be just need to add more. Good; Rice was tasty flavorful and fresh, jasmine rice. The egg roll standard, the wings were the highlight!!! Crispy big, fresh and hot..(temp). I mean I had four but wanted more. I will try this place again and update with other choices ... but for now recomendable....”

“This place has the best cassava ball in town. The aroma of fresh food hits you in the face as you walk through the door and there is always something exceptional about friendly and polite service. Try this place for good soul food. My handsome adventure date goes there often and gets delicious food and treats; they have real coconut water in the bottle and many dishes to choose from. “This is the best Dunkin Donuts I've been to in my life. I bought some food next door and had no place to sit. I noticed there was seating at this Dunkin and remembered I had enough points for a free beverage. I went in and there were two gentlemen on shift. A younger one and an older one. The younger one was very diligent in mopping the floor. As I was checking out with my free drink and a donut I wanted, the older man noticed something was off (as did I) with the order total. The young man came over and spoke to him in their common language that I didn't understand (not English) to help the older man understand what happened and what buttons to press on the register. The older man paid careful attention to the younger man's instruction. So after I paid, I made my way to sit down across from some young teenager. A high schooler. Before I made it to my seat, the younger employee told me to be careful as I walked back and not slip on the wet floor. I sat down waiting for my drink order. When I got up to get it and fetch a straw, the young man was all like "don't worry, step on through, I'll have this place spotless by the time we close." While I was eating, the man politely asked if the kid could pick up his backpack so he could clean under and around the area. He noticed there was a bat sticking out of the backpack and they got to chatting about what school he went to and position he played; offered some advice. When the kid was about to leave he wished him well and said good luck with high school (because of course...high school y'know). I continued eating my meal and a small child came in with his mother. Again he made sure to get their attention about the wet floor. The small child started taking slow almost tip toeing steps haha. Then another regular customer came in that was Hispanic...they had a small chat. The young employee was telling him that he wants to learn Spanish so he can better communicate with customers. I thought that was cool. As I sat there finishing up my meal, I thought to myself....with everything going on in the world...these two individuals were dead set on excelling on a singular work day. The young man wasn't worried about yesterday or tomorrow or next week, or next month. He was thinking about today and only today and how to make it the best work day for everyone. I could hear it in his voice. The dedication. The whole dichotomy of the two employees I found beautiful. This Dunkin Donuts is an important part of the community, without a doubt. I'm glad I walked in.”

“Ordered from this place over the weekend, and I wasn't really impressed to be honest. I originally ordered oxtail with Rasta pasta and homemade ginger beer only to get a call 2 minutes later telling they didn't have Rasta pasta OR the homemade ginger beer. I had to get Mac and cheese instead. I won't lie they DEFINITELY made up for it because they gave me TWO drinks and a large oxtail instead of the medium I originally asked for. The food wasn't bad, the mac and cheese was oily...it wasn't anything I'd jump and holler for....but the customer service was good. They also packaged the food VERY well making sure none of it spilled which I also appreciated!”

“A very nice smaller restaurant with a bar up front. They close at 1:00 a.m. so I would imagine some of that is mostly the bar crowd although that's not the best location for more. I had a Cuban sandwich my wife had some tacos and we also had some guacamole and chips overall very nice the bill came to $40 including tax it might have been $40.30. 12:50 I think for the tacos 8 or 10 bucks for the nachos nachos/ guacamole and maybe $10 for the Cuban. Cuban was the best Cuban I've had in a long time. Highly recommended I will be posting their menu shortly as well as photos and some short videos.”

“Not sure why the low 2-star rating but my experience at this Starbucks location was good. This Starbucks is located in Terminal 5 next to Gate 24 (JetBlue). When I arrived, there was a short line. It moved quickly. I ordered a tall vanilla latte with coconut milk. It cost $5.50. Yes, it costs more here than your regular Starbucks - people be trippin' in their reviews about how expensive it is. It's an airport. Everything is marked up. I mean a bottle of water is like $3 or $4 at the airport. Anyway, the barista and cashier were both friendly, professional - not to mention fast and efficient. My drink was ready within minutes of ordering.”
