“This is a tiny modern Caribbean kitchen spot in Jamaica, Queens. They are serving up a nice mix of classic Jamaican dishes along with some healthy salads, soups, and interesting options like coconut rice. Large orders can expect a longer wait time so order those in advance!
Rasta Pasta with Shrimp 9/10
The pasta is creamy and a little bit more than al dente which I like. There was a lot of shrimp and it was seasoned perfectly and cooked just enough so that it stayed moist and tender!
Rasta Pasta with Salmon 9/10
This is an excellent deal for salmon and pasta! The salmon is soft, fresh, with sweet sauce to complement the savory flavor. It's a perfect mix of healthy and heavy food.
Curry Goat 9/10
Perfectly spiced, savory with medium curry strength and the meat was super soft and falling off the bone.
Soup of the day 8/10
This is an excellent chicken soup. The broth is thick and savory. The chicken is falling off the bone. Chunks of potato and carrot to top it off. Lots of flavor!
Jerk Chicken Sandwich 8/10
It's spicy and reasonably priced and it comes with some slaw. I think it could be dressed up a bit but it's good.
Kale Salad 8/10
It's a healthy and delicious mix of greens and veggies like cucumber, tomato, mango, corn.
Braised Slow Cooked Oxtail (Large) 7/10
I'll have to try this again because when I got it, the oxtail wasn't falling off the bone like I expected. I think it needed more time in the slowcooker. It also needed some more spice.
Yard Style Jerk Chicken (Large) w/ rice and peas 7/10
The chicken is juicy with mild spice and the container was packed but I think the rice and peas was dry. The coconut white rice is better. Plantains were great.“

“Came here for Roti & doubles. I called ahead, ordering was smooth. There’s no parking so had to double park outside. The food is okay. Not the best roti or doubles I’ve ever had but we ate them up. My food wasn’t very fresh but I suppose that because I ordered an hour before closing. The person inside was nice & had great customer service. Oh, pricing is great it was a large amount for under $20.“

“The best Roti in town. The doubles also seem to be very popular and food is always a hit. The service can be unwelcoming at times but the people are very nice the more you go. You get very good quantity of food for the price that you pay. Highly recommend if you’re a true foodie and dont care about high energy customer service.“

The jerk chicken was tender with that authentic Caribbean kick, and the sides were just as good especially the rice and peas and plantains. Portions were generous, and everything tasted like it was made with love. The Jerk Pork 10/10🔥🔥 OH LAWD

“Earlier this morning..... My first experience at Door Restaurant in the borough of Queens.... OMG I tried the Traditional Jamaican Breakfast: Liver, Saltfish, Callaloo, provisions omg. Couldn't eat it all but I killed the Saltfish. Restaurant wasn't crowded. Good service.. I still have enough leftovers for a few more meals 😂😂😂😂 My friend enjoyed her jerk chicken with peas and rice.. 😋“

“Some people prefer quality over quantity. But this was both. Most cheesiest rasta pasta $12 and added jerk chicken $7 iv ever eaten. Also the portion size was so much that the container couldn't close. Check them out. I'd recommend.“

“Bought the cheese roll, fish curry, chicken curry, roti and korilla (bitter melon). It was excellent!! I want to come back to try the other curries though. The menu is different from weekend and weekday just so I'll have to visit again for the goat curry. Thank you tropical revive.“
