“Firstly the setting is amazing, like living inside a museum piece. Secondly the food was excellent, from the Asparagus with olives to the Mac and Cheese (which I was initially suspicious of!). It's a decadent layer of crispy rich cheese varietes with the pasta hidden underneath.

It's on the pricey side, but the food quality & setting was there. However I would like to see an IPA for less than $15, this felt like too much even for a tall can of beer.“

“I have been coming here since the late 90's when I was a student @ JHS217. The food has always been fresh and well made to order! The remodel was much needed and the quality hasn't been sacrificed from what I have seen over the years.

I no longer live in the area, but was visiting on business recently and decided to grab a slice for nostalgia sake. Sadly, it was late in the day and they were preparing to close, so the selection wasn't as vast as mid-day would be. My Sicilian Margherita slice was still amazing and I will continue to patronize this neighborhood gem for years to come! A1 from day one.“

“Let me start with the service was fast and attentive. I ordered steak with seafood (medium rare) and it came in an appropriate time served neatly with a few extras i didnt even notice on the menu. Cooked to perfection which I was happy about. Would love to come back to try all their steaks worth the visit. I went solo but definitely food atmosphere for a group of people. Full service bar even though I dont drink they had enough options to stop in just for a drink. Nice dessert menu to compliment your meal afterwards. Felt like a home away from home. Can't imagine going in and not ordering one of their steaks compliments to the chef!“

“The food was delicious! I had the same dollar pancakes and beef sausage and I ate it up. Idk what they put in those pancakes but I couldn't stop eating it. My children had waffles with strawberries and bacon on the side, and a bacon egg and cheese bagel. They both cleared their plates. My waitress disappeared a few times but it seemed like she was the only one trending to all of the tables. We will def be returning though.“

“I have been eating from here for literal years! My dad introduced me to their food about 10 years ago and I can’t believe I haven’t written a review yet.

The food here is consistently flavorful, fresh, and made with love. It doesn’t matter if I eat in the restaurant or order takeout the food here is always a 10/10! My go to order is the Grilled Shrimp Scampi ( Camarones ) with garlic sauce and white rice with beans. My fiancé always orders their Pernil with rice and beans.

Great service. The lady at the counter is very pleasant, both on the phone and in person. The breakfast was great, I had a large plate of ackee and salt fish with sour soup sea moss juice. I wish I had taken a picture of the plate as the presentation was beautiful, but I couldn't wait to dig in lol (I absolutely destroyed that plate 😁). “I have been going to this spot for over 25 years and until tonight n once before have not had a rude server. The young man working the window tonight 5/04/26 needs to be put in the back. He wanted to take my card as I placed my order n when I said how much is it he started adding in his head n when I said go pack n ring the order first he slammed the window. Then instead of telling me they had no wings or verifying my order he just packed it n showed me what he was gonna give me. Never spoke to me to say what he was doing. When he came for the card he still never said how much it was he just slammed the window again.
