“My wife and I ate at Paris Cafe on TH, 09/25/26, after coming back from vacation. We were thoroughly impressed with the service, food, atmosphere and ambience. Paris Cafe is located in the TWA Hotel and thus has much old time swank and pizzazz inherently built into it. Our server, Chris, was excellent. He is a polite, respectful and thoughtful young man with a good sense of humor and a desire to be helpful to the customers. We had the Caesar salad, followed by my Rigatoni with meatballs and my wife’s Campanelle with grilled chicken and then butterscotch pudding for dessert. The food was fresh, plentiful, innovative and quite tasty. The restaurant was vibrant and energetic and the bar had plenty of cocktail options to choose from. All the employees that we dealt with were pleasant and personable and really aimed to please. All in all it was a wonderful experience.“

“Okay first of all Mashallah 😍. I was born in the generation of Halalbee’s. First off, I got my order quickly! The man I spoke with had a mask on, and the restaurant was perfectly COVID compliant. The food?! AMAZING. Perfectly priced for the quality of what you’re getting. Definitely have the Double Decker with the Maple Beef Bacon! The Panko Chicken Nuggets were crispy, and fresh. The Truffle Fries were seasoned beautifully! Easily one of the most satisfying meals I’ve had in a long time. Excellent portions! I’d love to shake the owner’s hand, but that will have to wait until social distancing is behind us! I’m definitely bringing all my friends, and recommending this spot to my coworkers! “The food was delicious! I had the same dollar pancakes and beef sausage and I ate it up. Idk what they put in those pancakes but I couldn't stop eating it. My children had waffles with strawberries and bacon on the side, and a bacon egg and cheese bagel. They both cleared their plates. My waitress disappeared a few times but it seemed like she was the only one trending to all of the tables. We will def be returning though.“

“I have been coming here since the late 90's when I was a student @ JHS217. The food has always been fresh and well made to order! The remodel was much needed and the quality hasn't been sacrificed from what I have seen over the years.

I no longer live in the area, but was visiting on business recently and decided to grab a slice for nostalgia sake. Sadly, it was late in the day and they were preparing to close, so the selection wasn't as vast as mid-day would be. My Sicilian Margherita slice was still amazing and I will continue to patronize this neighborhood gem for years to come! A1 from day one.“

Cooked to perfection which I was happy about. Would love to come back to try all their steaks worth the visit. I went solo but definitely food atmosphere for a group of people. Full service bar even though I dont drink they had enough options to stop in just for a drink. Nice dessert menu to compliment your meal afterwards. Felt like a home away from home. “I have been eating from here for literal years! My dad introduced me to their food about 10 years ago and I can’t believe I haven’t written a review yet.

The food here is consistently flavorful, fresh, and made with love. It doesn’t matter if I eat in the restaurant or order takeout the food here is always a 10/10! My go to order is the Grilled Shrimp Scampi ( Camarones ) with garlic sauce and white rice with beans. My fiancé always orders their Pernil with rice and beans.

If you are thinking of getting food from here, do it! The staff is super friendly and the food is as good as it looks!“

The portion is good....Lots of black bean and rice. Come with two tortilla. Salad is fresh. But the meat is as thin as a piece of paper.

“The food is good, biryani is spicy but good if you like spice. Kabob rolls are yum. Took stars off because they are cheap with the salad. I ordered biryani for myself and Haleem for my mom. She requested onions/ginger on the side for the Haleem which she got, but they refused to give me salad for the biryani. Said it’s inside the bag. There was no salad inside the bag. Stop being cheap over salad. I miss the old owner these new ones are kinda rude. I been going to this restaurant for like 15 years.“

“My favorite place to order takeout! Jumbo Kitchen has the best General Tso’s tofu I’ve ever had in my life! It’s crunchy and savory and the texture of tofu is perfect, not mushy just right to the point that I sometimes have to double check that I’m not eating chicken lol highly recommend!“

“Had a 10 hour layover so stopped off here for a late breakfast. I’m glad we did - we only had $20 between us but we split a breakfast meal and a couple of extra papusas. The food was delicious, tasted fresh and filling. I was especially impressed by how well you could eat as a vegetarian here.

We both left feeling satisfied despite only sharing a plate. It’s a shame the place was cash only and we were low only dollars as I really wanted to try their horchata and some of the refrescos in the fridge.

The place is small with only 3 tables but we managed to secure a place and the guy working there was friendly and prompt.

Will definitely try to check this place out again if I’m coming through Jamaica.

“i’ve lived in the area for many years and have passed this place several times, but never tried it… tonight I decided to order via Uber Eats and crossed my fingers. to my surprise, everything was very tasty and the food came hot. The red pea soup taste good, fresh and authentic. The Stew chicken, jerk chicken, mac & cheese, and rice and peas, were all very tasty. I called in just to make sure the red pea soup did not contain pork. the gentleman that answered the phone was so polite. Great customer service. oh, and by the way, the red pea soup does not have pork in it… A+ in my book no pork on my fork lol i’ll definitely be ordering from here again.“

“I have been going to this spot for over 25 years and until tonight n once before have not had a rude server. The young man working the window tonight 5/04/26 needs to be put in the back. He wanted to take my card as I placed my order n when I said how much is it he started adding in his head n when I said go pack n ring the order first he slammed the window. Then instead of telling me they had no wings or verifying my order he just packed it n showed me what he was gonna give me. Never spoke to me to say what he was doing. When he came for the card he still never said how much it was he just slammed the window again. Still the best chicken in queens... but this guy made me feel like if I come to the window n he is the server then I will just drive off n come back when hes not there.
