“I had the best Thanksgiving Dinner once again this year.. last year was my introduction, and this year they out did themselves. The best jerk Fry turkey in the world. Tender, tasty, properly cooked. If mom liked it, you know it's good. The service was impeccable, timely, and professional. “Big Update: They may have changed their chef but Kam's Kitchen no longer serve their previous vegetarian options. Ordering them used to been our go to place for vegetarian dishes...no longer. This is like any other takeout spots. Nothing special but it's an okay spot.“

“My God… Chongqing Lao Zao might be the best Chinese hot pot I’ve ever had. And if you’ve seen my other reviews, you know I’ve eaten at A LOT of hot pot places. 😂 This one seriously impressed me.

The entrance is actually pretty small and very easy to miss, but once you walk through that door… WOW. It feels like you just stepped into a Chinese palace. The decorations, the details, the atmosphere—everything is beautiful. Before we even started eating, I was already walking around looking at everything.

Then there’s the service. Next level. The servers were so attentive that they basically wouldn’t let us lift a finger. 😂 Plates cleared, broth checked, food taken care of—they were always there without making us feel rushed. That kind of service really changes the whole experience.

And of course, the hot pot itself was incredible. Rich, authentic flavors and exactly what I want when I’m craving real Chinese hot pot. Great food is one thing, but when you combine it with this atmosphere and this level of service, it becomes an experience.

I review a lot of hot pot restaurants and usually can find at least one thing I would change. This time, I really can’t.

“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

“A great pure South Indian vegetarian restaurant, especially for authentic Tamil Nadu-style flavors. Everything was tasty, flavorful, and genuinely authentic.

They offer around 10–12 dosa varieties, rice dishes, and appetizers. Prices are very affordable, and the portions are moderate for the price, making it easy to try several items without spending much.

The service was good and fast. It’s an order-and-pick-up-over-the-counter kind of restaurant, making it a convenient option for a quick meal. There is plenty of seating in the basement, accessible by stairs or elevator. There’s also a small temple gift shop.

Parking can be challenging since it’s on a busy street, but a dedicated temple parking lot on Smart Street, one street over, has space for about 35–40 cars.

Overall, a great spot for authentic Tamil Nadu-style food, affordable prices, quick service, and plenty of dosa choices!“

“I was so excited to spend my birthday at Leticia's. The food and service were fine, and the atmosphere seemed lively enough, but the night ended in total heartbreak. My husband had specifically arranged for a sweet birthday surprise—a simple dessert and a song—and the hostess completely forgot. Watching the night end in absolute silence without even a mention of my birthday was devastating. It completely ruined what should have been a special moment. “It’s usually pretty quiet here when I tend to go for lunch. The service has always been great and attentive. The portions are big I can rarely finish what I order. The best part is the pricing - I typically order a main with rice & naan and a couple glasses of wine and I always feel like I’m getting a deal. Definitely recommend!“

“I get a Caesar salad salad from Chopt at least three times a week. I usually get a delivery, but this time I came to the store and I might just switch to in store with how nice everyone was. T made my salad and she killed it! I haven’t tried the Mexican Caesar yet and she gave me a bit to try on the side, will be getting on my next visit! This is why I love Chopt!“

“Really enjoyed our dinner at Sup Thai Kitchen!
Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The Pla Ma Nao was one of my favorites — the whole branzino was tender, and the spicy lime broth was bright, tangy, and full of Thai flavors. The Tom Yum seafood was also excellent, with a rich, spicy and sour broth and plenty of seafood.

The papaya salad (Som Tum) was fresh, crunchy, spicy and refreshing, and went perfectly with the heavier dishes. We ordered several dishes to share and honestly everything on the table worked really well together.

If you like authentic, bold Thai flavors, this is definitely a place worth trying. Highly recommend the Pla Ma Nao, Tom Yum, and papaya salad. We’ll definitely be back!“

“AWESOME KOREAN RESTAURANT IN LONG ISLAND: I’m not a foodie and I don’t think I’ve ever posted about restaurants (but I am Korean) - I have to make an exception for this place. Yes, this restaurant is on Long Island, but the Korean food EXCELLENT (better than lots of places in Flushing) and service is OUTSTANDING. Every dish we’ve tried so far (짜장면, 순두부찌개, 육개장, 제육덮밥) has been so amazing, delicious, and authentic (especially the spices!!!). If you’re ever in the area, please stop in and eat here. It’s crazy awesome! Thanks to my friend for encouraging me to try at a Korean restaurant that is not in Queens.
