“157 Tavern has been a staple in the area for 10 years and is an excellent choice for parties or group gatherings. You can simply provide them with your budget, and they will curate the menu for you, which makes the planning process very convenient.
Regarding the food:
Grilled Spanish Octopus: Highly recommended. The potato pave is delicious, and the octopus is tender with a perfect charred exterior.
Short Rib with Bone Marrow: The meat is very tender and falls apart at the touch of a fork, though I wish the portion of bone marrow was a bit larger.
King Salmon: Quite tender.
Burrata Cheese: Standard/average.
Caramel Flan: Delicious and beautifully presented.
Overall, it is a great spot for a nice dinner.“

“The staff were polite, patient and welcoming. The woman working was very patient and helpful to help me pick my order. The food was great; there’s nothing I could nit-pick about it. “I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

“I love Annam Brahma. I’m blessed to live nearby. The food is delicious, and the desserts are to die for.
Vegetarian options: Masala dosa is my favorite. It’s like a potato pancake and gluten free. Then there is the chapati roll up with lots of cooked vegetables inside and a salad. The taste is indescribable, and some of the dishes, if requested, have a touch of Indian spices.
Dietary restrictions: I am happy that they have many gluten free options. Annam Brahma has only vegetarian food. The desserts are homemade.“

“Chef Papa is an authentic Vietnamese spot and I loved the food here. The beef pho had a rich, flavorful broth, the fried chicken was crispy and juicy, and the spring rolls were fresh and delicious. “Everything is great. Coming here over 25 yes. One thing I noticed who's overall incharge he is no Tony. And never will be. Stained tablecloth oil bottle on table dirty and greasy. Dirty windows. Tony would never have put up with that. I also miss his cooking. It's the little things. But Tony would never put up with this. Everything had to be perfect.“
