“Had a really nice time at Tavern 157! The wagyu burger was juicy and full of flavor, and the oysters were really fresh. Loved the drinks and the cozy atmosphere too. Big shoutout to Nicky for taking such good care of us! Super friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without having to ask. Great food, great service, and just a fun place to hang out. Will definitely be back!“

“Stopped by the Hindu Temple Canteen for breakfast and tried the Pondicherry Dosa, Rava Masala Dosa, Vada, and Madras Coffee.
The Pondicherry Dosa was crispy on the outside with a flavorful filling inside. The Vada was really good, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The Rava Masala Dosa was a little oilier because it's made differently, but still tasted good. Both dosas tasted pretty similar once dipped in the chutney and sambar.
The Madras Coffee was really good too. Everything was fresh, and the prices were reasonable. Our total was only $30.48.
Overall, a nice spot for a simple South Indian breakfast. I'd definitely come back!“

“Great food at a great price. Best of all cart and I've been to a lot. whenever I'm in the neighborhood I stop by and usually get myself two Gyros so I can eat one for lunch and have one for dinner. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The Pla Ma Nao was one of my favorites — the whole branzino was tender, and the spicy lime broth was bright, tangy, and full of Thai flavors. The Tom Yum seafood was also excellent, with a rich, spicy and sour broth and plenty of seafood.
The papaya salad (Som Tum) was fresh, crunchy, spicy and refreshing, and went perfectly with the heavier dishes. We ordered several dishes to share and honestly everything on the table worked really well together.
If you like authentic, bold Thai flavors, this is definitely a place worth trying. Highly recommend the Pla Ma Nao, Tom Yum, and papaya salad. We’ll definitely be back!“

“AWESOME KOREAN RESTAURANT IN LONG ISLAND: I’m not a foodie and I don’t think I’ve ever posted about restaurants (but I am Korean) - I have to make an exception for this place. Yes, this restaurant is on Long Island, but the Korean food EXCELLENT (better than lots of places in Flushing) and service is OUTSTANDING. Every dish we’ve tried so far (짜장면, 순두부찌개, 육개장, 제육덮밥) has been so amazing, delicious, and authentic (especially the spices!!!). If you’re ever in the area, please stop in and eat here. It’s crazy awesome! Thanks to my friend for encouraging me to try at a Korean restaurant that is not in Queens. My family will be forever grateful - five stars and 2 thumbs way up from me and my family members. :)“

The food came out fast in steady waves, which kept everyone busy passing plates and eating without any lull. Every single dish hit the mark. The geek in me love the technology - from ordering on the tablets, to easy sign up on the app, to contactless payments.

- Har Gow: Plump whole shrimp with wrappers that held together cleanly when picked up.
- Sticky Rice Shao Mai: Hearty and deeply savory, easily one of the table favorites.
- Scallion Pancake: Light, flaky layers without the grease you often get elsewhere.
- Sesame Balls: Fried crisp on the outside with the right amount of chew.

- Chongqing Spicy Chicken (La Zi Ji): Crispy bites packed with fragrant chilies and a great numbing heat.

- Pickled Mustard Green Fish Soup: Tart, comforting, and packed with tender fish slices. Unexpectedly a soup - we expected this to be stir fried (didn’t read enough)
- Shrimp with Bok Choy: Fresh greens with a satisfying snap and generously sized shrimp.
- Stir-Fried Udon: Good wok char on thick noodles that stayed bouncy.
- Chicken with Broccoli: Tender chicken and crisp broccoli in a clean, savory garlic glaze.
- Sesame Chicken: Sweet, crunchy, and vanished quickly with our crowd.
- Yeoungchow Fried Rice: Fluffy and light, acting as a great base for the spicy mains.

“A cute place with really good food, affordable prices, and kind service. Relaxed and able to hear the people I'm with. My only gripe was that the caramelized sharable salmon was overdone and fishy one time. I've loved several pho, noodle, curry, appetizer and rice dishes, and so have the many people I've taken here. “Our first time here, based upon reviews and vicinity to our home. While the food was tasty, hot and nice portions, the service was terrific the overall atmosphere was lacking. It was excessively loud, small and cramped dining area. The seating should have been about 25 not the sqeezed in seating of 36, when we sat to ate.
I recommend reservations, like we had, to sit for dinner, even on a Sunday.
My wife had the pear & walnut salad, the fusilli pasta & sausage and Italian (made in-house) cheesecake. All were great. I had the watermelon & feta salad, salmon piccata with veggies and pistachio Gelato.
It is average market priced.
Clean environment, and bathroom, but the kitchen door to the dinning room should have remained closed.
We will try it again in the near future.“
